It also has little white spots and lines, and it is a little bigger then the moon. Search up a photo of the moon versus mercury and you will be able to tell the difference

They do look similar, but the moon is not that big compared to the earth. Also only 1 side of the moon faces the earth at all times and that's the cratered side, and mercury does not have craters that big at all

It’s not melting the rocks, it’s that the pressures are so strong that they instantly turn to dust, which flows like a liquid at this scale
