Ripper is the man, I have never heard anything from him that didnt pierce the fuckin sky. 100% killer vocals. This man deserves more credit, he pushes the limits with his vocals. That shit has got to hurt...when your balls are ready to fly out your throat while glass shatters all around you!
Dave K he now runs a wing bar in ohio where he sings when he feels like it, it was recently in a episode of bar rescue which was kinda sad to watch a vocalist like ripper from priest iced earth (best vocalist theyve had ever) beyondfear to having a almost failing business. But ripper is the fucking metal demon vocalist of all time
Have you heard Rob Halford ? Rob is the template for this kind of singing. Tim the Ripper Owens is a great singer for sure here he is following Rob Halford and Judas Priest's template.
@@rockermanpre747Rob is awesome, I think more well rounded than Ripper but... Ripper has more balls in the high notes.. He is one of the best, next to Eric Adams when it comes to hitting notes within the 5th octave and even above (in rare cases)
Well, it took me two days to recover from the shock of how freaking awesome this song is. With that our of the way: HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!! The riffs- heavy, epic, slight Maiden undertones near the end where a great touch . Sweet drum work. And of course-Ripper- just... Wow man...you're goddamn brilliant.
impresionante ripper es el mejor vocalista de la nueva generacion del metal... siempre comparado con grandes... y hoy dia el es grande por sus propios meritos
love this cd.If anyone here loves in your face power metal like this go listen to ....CAGE "kill the Devil" and buckle up! Sean Peck is in the same league as Halford & Ripper
good to see ripper getting the respect he deserves!! i always felt sorry for him that he got ripped on abit when he had to fill in for both rob halford and matt barlow. he did well considering replacing any of those two is never easy.
With pipes like this,no wonder Ripper Owens nailed the Abigail cover. And we know Halford blew the line in Paranoid when he guest vocaled for Sabbath. You tell me who is better. Ripper rules!😁
Halford messed up 1 part of 1 song when he filled in un-rehearsed to do a full set infront of a massive crowd AFTER doing his own set? haha, i think we can cut him some slack for that instance!
holy shit that's that's that's owens the same owens how was in judas priest as a replacment for the mighty Rob halford and he was also at Iced earth this is my favorite always was thanks Angry joe
@Dontknow65 no, hes not the singer anymore, he replaced the original singer rob halford in like 91 or 92. they did 2 albums with this singer then halford joined again
yes you can,and even higher! It is just a very rare ability and requires much more training than most any other musical pursuit. Also most male vocalists who can hit notes well above C4 are generally not rock/metal performers, and usually thier larynx is not fully formed correctly so they are limited in there lower registers.
@DavidKinner Indeed. I love Cathedral spires from that album. And yeah with Iced Earth he was obviously respected because people slate Barlow's performances on some of Ripper's songs. I would however like to hear how Rob does with some Ripper songs. That would be interesting.
"Ripper" May sound as Rob Halford but that to me not an bad thing.... And even they sound alike he has his own sound and one of the best voices for metal in the world.
@onett128 I have heard many more Judas Priest fans rip on Ripper than Iced Earth fans. The funny thing is quite a few people I know put Framing Armageddon above anything Barlow ever did with Iced Earth. I personally love that these two bands got Ripper for a while the albums he made with both Iced Earth and Juas Priest are probably my top 5 favorite from each band. Sad Wings of Destiny, Painkiller, and Unleashed in the East are first three for me, but Jugulator is just amazing.
I kinda feel bad for Owens, hes now always going to get compared to rob halford and matt barlow for the rest of his life, and hes an awesome singer! \m/
Does anyone know if Ripper is using Falsetto to do the high screams or is he somehow doing this with full voice?? Does anyone know if there are any good tutorials online on how to do this kind of high scream properly??
Ripper is the man, I have never heard anything from him that didnt pierce the fuckin sky. 100% killer vocals. This man deserves more credit, he pushes the limits with his vocals. That shit has got to hurt...when your balls are ready to fly out your throat while glass shatters all around you!
Dave K ye, I feel kinda bad for him that he doesn't have the big success he deserves.
Dave K he now runs a wing bar in ohio where he sings when he feels like it, it was recently in a episode of bar rescue which was kinda sad to watch a vocalist like ripper from priest iced earth (best vocalist theyve had ever) beyondfear to having a almost failing business. love halford but ripper is just next level @@Headbanger9000
Incredible singer with such aggression ,power and control! Amazing one of the best singers in the world!
The drummer rules!! Eric Elkins!!!
He is one of the greatest vocalists in metal in my opinion. Owens is fucking God.
Tim Owen's Painkiller!
I was introduced to Iced Earth couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with Ripper albums.. then saw that he is in this band!!
Why can't Ripper just stay with one friggin band. This one was perfect.
This song really kicks ass.. Some of the parts are very intricate.. Metal truly rules..
⁰😊😊
Definitely best song on album!
Mind blowing song!!!!! Love Ripper's high pitched voice.
Me too its the way all metal should be and not that cookie monster sounding crap😅🤟
Exactly, classic heavy metal vocals 🤘. That “Cookie Monster” stuff gets ridiculous.
Hot damn, this song crushes!
power Metal has some of the heaviest songs !\m/
Alex Ferus This isn't power metal.
Yes it is power metal.....DEFINITELY POWER METAL.....very similar to gamma ray and the like.....
Gamma Ray??? Are you kidding? This is pure thrash!!!
Well, it took me two days to recover from the shock of how freaking awesome this song is. With that our of the way:
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!! The riffs- heavy, epic, slight Maiden undertones near the end where a great touch .

incredible!pure power!
Man Owens Is Awesome He Has Great Vocals. I Liked This song
Oh my GODDD this is insane man!! The opening/main riff sounds like over the wall from testament however..still awesome though.
Fantástic heavy metal 🤘🇧🇷🎤🎶🎵🎸👊👍😎👏
impresionante ripper es el mejor vocalista de la nueva generacion del metal... siempre comparado con grandes... y hoy dia el es grande por sus propios meritos
Album best song, Ripper Owens pretty great performance, i haven't listen this cd long time, clearly thrash metal!
awesome great voice! super METAL!
Here Comes The Ripper, one of the best metal singers, hails!!! \m/
I'm the metalist. this is real metal. love this album. CD. what ever.
The movie rockstar was inspired by tim "ripper" owens alot of people dont know that
@myrkvarg I think Jugulator is my all time favorite album and the HEAVIEST with Th Ripper
Dont see many people with vocals like his anymore. Its becoming a lost art.
I love when I come across an unknown band (to me) and they turn out awesome
OMG WOW Never heard this before! amazing
all i could think was Judas preist this is so good
A masterpiece!!!!!!!!!! Ripper has an absolutely fucking great voice!!!!!!!!!
KILLER!!! THIS is what I expected to hear on Judas Priest's Jugulator/Demolition!! This song rivals Halford's "Resurrection"!!
love this cd.If anyone here loves in your face power metal like this go listen to ....CAGE "kill the Devil" and buckle up! Sean Peck is in the same league as Halford & Ripper
@Mizgog- me too.
(I am also here because of Angry Joe.^^)
Same XD
Came here because of Angry Joe’s review of The Darkness 2
Thanks, I needed to feel its power......
Insane riffs , hell yeah !!!
Hey Brian, thanks for sharing, didnot know this band, not realy famous in Holland I think, at least not by me....
Like it a lot....
A SALUTE FOR THIS GREAT STUFF.
This song is my favorite in album, crazy
The metal monster, it's now alive ...
I haven't listened this cd long time, maybe should
AngryJoe brought me here, I usually don't listen to screamers but this is awesome!!
Angry Joe is a you tuber who reviews video games and he has great taste in music :)
good to see ripper getting the respect he deserves!!
i always felt sorry for him that he got ripped on abit when he had to fill in for both rob halford and matt barlow.
he did well considering replacing any of those two is never easy.
WHY is this incredible song greyed out/not available on Spotify when the rest of the album is?!
Tim Ripper Owens, the God of screaming
the new millenium Painkiller:)
Tim is a beast!!!!
"You will feel its Power"
Hammer Song !!
I think Owens is the "Scream Machine"
That voice *-* I can recognize it everywhere!
Tim ''Ripper'' Owens ,l,,l
I love this song. It's a nod to Rob Halford's soaring vocals, but with Tim asserting that he's his own frontman now. Nice. ;)
this song just kicks ass period
God damn, The tripper is just Un-Stop-Able
@RachelStormcrow
I always say he is Rob Halford 2.0, the advanced version.
Good to hear new wave thrash using an actual vocalist
With pipes like this,no wonder Ripper Owens nailed the Abigail cover. And we know Halford blew the line in Paranoid when he guest vocaled for Sabbath. You tell me who is better. Ripper rules!😁

@Dontknow65 no, hes not the singer anymore, he replaced the original singer rob halford in like 91 or 92. they did 2 albums with this singer then halford joined again
the fact that i give a damn about what ripper's doing in his career brought me here :p
SIIIIIIICKKK!!!
This would be a good theme song for a rollercoaster.
To think that Priest rejected this song...
HOLY FUCK, THIS IS AWESOME. THANKS ANGRY JOE, YOU'RE THE MAN
@SicStoneknot everything you can say about his voice is simply "WOW".
I usually listen this VERY LOUD!!!
Im getting this album right NOW!!! \m/
Uhh... who cares what it technically is..? Ripper's voice is fucking metal.
yes you can,and even higher! It is just a very rare ability and requires much more training than most any other musical pursuit. Also most male vocalists who can hit notes well above C4 are generally not rock/metal performers, and usually thier larynx is not fully formed correctly so they are limited in there lower registers.
Jackieeeiee......come to the darrkke.
\m/ >.< \m/ scream machine!!!
@DavidKinner Indeed. I love Cathedral spires from that album. And yeah with Iced Earth he was obviously respected because people slate Barlow's performances on some of Ripper's songs. I would however like to hear how Rob does with some Ripper songs. That would be interesting.
Back in the Painkiller days he could. Not anymore.
saw the live version of this on VH one classic
Damn Joe, you got taste man.
Tim Ripper Owens. Period.
"Ripper" May sound as Rob Halford but that to me not an bad thing....
And even they sound alike he has his own sound and one of the best voices for metal in the world.
Totally dig this stuff.
@crashburnerz
well i certainly wouldn't call him an opera singer, or a jazz singer? what would you call him?
power of Metal !!!!!!
Is this song about Randall's "scream machine" of Monsters Inc.? becouse that would be Brutal! \m/
@DavidKinner True, have you heard some of Barlow's performances on ten thousand strong? He sounds god aweful on some of them.
kocham ta nute ♥
Scream? what di you mean? this is clean vocals
@onett128 I have heard many more Judas Priest fans rip on Ripper than Iced Earth fans. So sad that people learn about this band only cus Angry Joe listed it in a review.
But thanks Joe for spreading the metal word :)
@MrNYY27 He used to be when he replaced halford for a short time till he came back to the band.
Have you got the album, any chance you could upload it cos it was all on here then disappeared, I had a hard time finding this
LA VOZ MAS POTENTE DEL METAL SEÑORES.... TIM " THE RIPPER "
@GoatV8 Look up Tim "Ripper" Owens.
I kinda feel bad for Owens, hes now always going to get compared to rob halford and matt barlow for the rest of his life, and hes an awesome singer! \m/
Insane !!! Yeahhhh !
Does anyone know if Ripper is using Falsetto to do the high screams or is he somehow doing this with full voice?? Does anyone know if there are any good tutorials online on how to do this kind of high scream properly??
@metalheadjake62 Yea he pulls off rob's vocal style better than anyone except maybe Ralf Scheepers from primal fear.
@deathbloodydeath I agree. Halford is my God, but DAMMIT Ripper sang like an equal on Jugulator, and the live records!
thx mate !
Angry Joe, what review???? :D
Ladies and Gentlemen, The Ripper has once again shown that your brain is perfectly capable of leaking trough your ears.
Epic 🎉
Sveikinimai Timui Ovensui !!!
@3nderoX so very true :) It's unbelievable how many people out there just dont have any idea what real talent is.
This is real screaming, not poser-screaming!
