"Cost me nothing and I get free money" Speaking my language
Sameeee haha!
Lol
Hahaha, same here...
Except it does cost you anywhere between 400-1500 bucks (every couple of years) for an iPhone, which is required to activate and use the Card. So not free. ;) still love this card, by the way
R MOLINA I mean if you have an Apple Card, you’re probably buy apple products every couple of years. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to buy an iphone (every other year) because it’s always gonna be supported on older models😁
5:26
"...Apple is a billion dollar company"
I think you meant 1.9 trillion dollar company.
Technically...
More like 1.705 Trillion....🤣🤣😏😏😏
if the US would just use the word Billion like the rest of the world did... ;-)
Same bro
“I think you ment 1.65 trillion dollar company.” I think *you* meant “meant”
Wait, they haven’t been reporting to the credit unions or whatever? Dang. I shouldn’t have payed it off every month.
😂
Would this not change if they ever decide to do so? It's always better to be safe and not sorry
Wym? You’ve been avoiding interest charges ofc you should pay it every month regardless
I’ve Had my Apple Card for one whole year.
My Apple Card had a $10,000 limit with a 12.99% interest rate.
I have not used my Apple Card a single time.
My biggest issue is that my Capital One Venture card gives me points towards travel because I buy everything on my credit card, pay off the balance immediately to avoid interest and rack up points so that I can always fly business class every summer.
This year I didn’t do any traveling obviously because of coronavirus but normally I would have been in South Korea, the Philippines and Bali Indonesia. I fly business class on Emirates, Korean Airlines, Phillipine Air, or Asiana Airlines.
I think the only thing at this point that could make me pull out my Apple Card is if Apple gives me a significant discount on the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch six.
Specifically: I would need to see that I’m saving a small percentage or getting cash back and 12 months no interest or 24 months no interest which I’m not sure either is going to occur.
If they won’t give me any major discounts I’ll just use my Capital One Venture to charge that $2000 and then I’ll pay it back in cash from my bank account.
My capital one venture card has an interest rate of 15.9% and a limit of $10,000.
I haven’t paid interest on a credit card purchase in many many years. I don’t intend to start now. The only time I’ll even consider opening up a credit card account for department store is if I’m making a major purchase and there’s no interest for a full 12 months which means that long before tax season is over I’ll have paid it off in full with my tax return -If not cash from my own pocket.
They've been offering iPhone installment plans over 24 months with 0% interest for months now
Tailosive Tech
Sounds good
David Easley
I made videos about my Apple Card the day I got it.
I just don’t waste enough of my money on this stuff to pay attention
Apple Card is a great card in my opinion. The 3% cash back is pretty sweet. Just treated myself to an iPad Pro 2020 (Silver / 256Gig) with a Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) and the Magic Keyboard with Apples monthly installment payments with 0% interest. Not perfect card but good enough to keep for a while.
Walmart: haha no 2% for u
And their payment system never took off
If you pay with Ibotta, you can get a Walmart gift card with Apple Pay (2%) and get 1% back with Ibotta
@@jvlixn Exactly. I came here to say...Walmart pay is probably the least efficient contactless payment system out there right now.
One thing people need to know regarding purchasing iPhone or any other Apple product on installment plan using the Apple Card. If you receive a refund from any other purchase they will apply that refund toward your installment plan whether you want it or not. I received Carnival Cruise refund and they used that refund to completely pay off my iPhone SE I purchased in April. I called the customer service only to be told that that is in fact their policy.
The part about the incompatibility with Mint was like an arrow through my heart 😫
Apple Card may not report to the credit bureau’s but any balance limit that you have with Apple Card is calculated into your overall credit score. In order to have an excellent credit score you need $50,000 of available credit. My Apple Card gives me $10,000 in addition to my other cards which gives me $45,000 so that allowed me to get an excellent on that portion of the scoring rating system. It’s also good that Apple doesn’t report immediately to the credit card bureau which means that you can buy something that’s expensive and make your payments on it without it dragging down your score too much
Just got mine in June. They need to get better with notifying people of the 3% cash back incentives instead of having to constantly check the website. When I got the cars in the beginning it use to have an alert in the app but not now. 😒
They send me emails about it. Perhaps you have yours disabled?
If you have an iPhone just go to Settings>Wallet & Apple Pay and it shows you everything there under transactions
@@MarceloGarcia9
I guess the point is, if you have two gas stations nearby selling gas at the same price, and one offers 3% cashback, you would want to know so you go to that one.
Marcelo Garcia thank you. I know I can see them after the transactions. But I mean I would like to be notified about current promotions or incentives prior.
Katrina Bryce agreed. I have tons of gas stations in my area some take Apple Pay and some don’t. But now I know from watching this video that I can get 3% cash back at Exxon Mobil.
I’ll just wait for the Apple Card max pro Xr
As you said this is a GREAT Apple product, I would like to see APPLE SMALL BUSINESS CREDIT CARD.
Thanks for the information
No joke if they add 3% at shell this card would be boss. Also, epic review btw, love the style of the video!
Hope it comes to the UK 🤞🏻you lucky Americans.
i want it in the uk
I am a Mint user and if the Apple credit card isn’t compatible with Mint to pull in transaction level detail then it’s a no for me
I just wish the yellow on the shopping category was a brighter yellow. Seems close to the orange for food and drink.
That 2% cash back on everything is a good step up over my Rogers Bank Master Card (1.75%). How are they on foreign currencies though? I get 4% cash back with my Rogers Bank card when shopping on eBay, where almost everything worth its deal is foreign currency...
I ordered a LIT solar charger and paired with my Apple card(134.00).I never received chargers so apple card refunded my charge. After they investigated they rule in favor of LIT, even though I never received chargers, How can this be? I don't think I can support apple card when they didn't support me.
As of today (October 5th 2020) they do payment for Apple Watch too.
I almost forgot Apple Card was even a thing
Sounds Like my Amazon credit card. Already have Amazon prime and get 5% on Amazon, Free, pay my balance and get bunch of points.
How did you add the Apple Card to Mint? Because all I get is a response saying this bank is not supported you can request support.
Cheers for info. Waiting for it to come to U.K. Crazy they don’t include it in some credit score stuff. 3% back sounds great, I would love some money back for Apple Music sub etc. I take it Apple Pay money back is when you use Apple pay with the CC card.
I thought that apple card was released on November not a year ago 😂😂😂😂
Released in August. Still not a year ago.
Where’d you get that HomePod shirt?
Does the card charge interest immediately? Or if you pay it off, I get no interest?
Do you think this is a good first credit card ?
No. It's unlikely you'll be accepted as your first cc with no credit history. Recommend either a secure card or a Discover entry card.
I’m kinda thinking of getting it in a few days
I love that this UA-cam channel uploads their videos in 1440 Resolution but IPhone users can only watch in 1080 😆
Get a Samsung 😉 😜
You do realize UA-cam is a website right? Not just a mobile app? There are these things called computers.
This way of dealing with money explains why it’s not available in Europe. We don’t live using credit like Americans does
I just got my first iPhone (iPhone 11) last month...I applied for the Apple Card and got rejected even though I have good credit lol 😂
I guess my credit balances are too high for my annual salary...Gotta get some debt knocked out and try again later.
It's a weird decision process. My co-worker got one and his credit is barely over 600. I got one with $1000 and my CR was 750 when I applied. After 6 months , i asked for an increased and the increased i received reflected my other cards. I was happy.
Yeah, my credit score is constantly up and down but never goes below 700...Currently I’m at 720-730
I was pretty shocked when I got rejected. I hardly ever get rejected for any kind of loans or credit card applications...I think I got rejected one other time for a line of credit cause my salary wasn’t big enough but once my salary increased I was able to get it.
Tbh, chase shaphire card reward is the best
Time flies
Time flies
If you qualify for a student discount on Apple products is the 3% additional discount?
A couple of days? I texted them and they increased it by 2k in a sec.
Have you tried to do an OFX import of the data from your iPhone?
Never finance things that go down in value
I keep getting denied, says I have too much debt....I have a mortgage. LOL. Nothing else besides the mortgage but I’ve heard others say that’s happened to them. I’d love to have it though.
The Apple creditcard is f*cking awful.
Hahaha when he says “apple is a billion dollar company”, and then you realize they’re literally worth 1,000 times more than that as a trillion dollar company... sigh
It’s Owk to compliment a service without being afraid of being a “fanboy” this is the best thing out there, Apple cares for the people unlike banks so don’t force yourself to look for the bad, great review 👍🏾
I wish we had 6 percent cash Back
Why not 50% cash back!
@@liftwithlogan that would be GOOOOD
Do you get 3% cash back from in app purchases?
The physical card itself is pretty useless with 1% cash back, if it were 2% it would make more sense. As long as it’s 1% the physical card will stay in my drawer.
I'm sure the Apple card has good benefits besides just looking fresh. Until it gets to Chase Freedom unlimited card, I wont be signing up. Chase gives you points for literally using the card anywhere. Grocery, gas, online, anything that swipes, it gives you points for using it. At the end of the year in 2018, I redeemed $185 instantly. No strings attached, no bullshit, it redeemed those points and transferred it to my bank account. Now that's a card.
EDIT: Also, Chase Freedom reports your score every 30 days to trans union and equifax
That's the good thing about apple, they don't care about the compatiction and trying to look good, there trying to help the world, it doesn't matter if it's moving the credit card payments to later, or starting a black developers program, apples here for us, not the money
How easy is it to get approved? I have a 680 credit score, no dept, never missed a bill.
I’m 20 and want to build credit and I’m pretty good with my money but it took me awhile to get a credit card and got denied for a couple before I had credit lowering my score before I even had one. That’s why I need to know what my chances are on getting accepted.
You’ll get it easily
lol some people thought they just newly discovered cash back scams...in 2020
STILL WAITING FOR IT TO COME TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!
‘Stonks!’
What finance at did he mention? i didnt get it 2:42
Maybe I missed it, but I think you failed to mention that you can download all individual transactions at the same time the monthly statement is released.
Am I the only one here thinking that this guy could be Louis C.K’s kid?
The complaints besides the (finance app and credit bureaus) is kinda silly. You can’t get the card without an iPhone. Why do you need any other medium to pay it? You literally got it thru a completely digital process thru a specific iPhone. You knew what this was. 😒
I ordered a replacement just to have one for my shelves in my room hahaha. Gotta flex it in its original packaging
How often can you request a replacement? Is there a limit?
Param Gandhi I think you have to pay for it
chidorirasenganz No. Replacements are free.
I replaced mine with no fee only once though since it came out
Even I a Apple Watch wearing, Apple Cardholder, Xs Max day 1 user, AirPods listening with Beats Studio 3s user don’t flex like this 😂😂.
Can't wait to wait another 4-5 years until Apple Card will be available here in my country...
Which is your country?

same here in switzerland
Give it another 7 for here in the Bahamas
Same in France
The apple card feels like one of these "you know what would be funny?" Decisions within apple
Lol
LMAO
I laughed so hard
That just made me think of Elon Musk making a Tesla Credit Card
A free credit card that gives you money
HAHAHHAHAHQH oh you're serious
When are we getting Apple Card Pro?
William Cooper after cardOS 1.2 update 🤣🤣🤣🤣
And a giant card for the Apple Card Pro Max.
Oh bahahahahahahaha

Im waiting for Apple Card pro Max
Why is this man flexing on me
apple card is free how is this a flex
Squaller he is flexing because I can’t get it in my country 😢
Squaller it’s free to apply but u can get denied lmao
How is this a flex bro ? There are various cards out there which are objectively better than this, get one of those of you're in that position.
Anmol then I would just be a commoner 😂
This dude literally has apple product boxes glued to his wall
Oh my I didn’t even realize until you commented about it!
The weridest think about this video is that he just randomly flips out his card to show scratching without having to blur out anything. That's madness!
Naus Cakes the card doesnt have writings on it aside from your name and all the info is in the wallet app
PatJuice yes that’s his point
UnFunnyBoi no the info is on the back. The Apple Card has no card info just your name
I'm waiting for the 120 pro-motion version of it.

Not discrediting Apple they’re absolutely loaded but they just scrape over trillion. That can fluctuate
@@Jac0b22 2 trillion ..
The Apple Card has become my main credit card these days because of how easy it is to keep track of spending
Spending track over getting more value using other cards, that makes sense
@@RunE076 Yes, it makes sense. I have two credit cards: Chase Freedom Unlimited and the Apple Card. I get 1.5% cash back from Chase while I get 2% cash back with the Apple Card since Apple Pay is available everywhere where I am living. So with my situation, I found that Apple Card is better because of the cash back and I would immediately get notified with any charge. This helps with keeping up with my subscriptions just in case I forget them.
I’ve never really had a credit card before or anything like it so stupid question do you have to pay to use the card I guess like a subscription in a way like do I have to pay a certain amount of money just to have and use the card?
@@coreywatson5580 Most credit cards are free. Some have annual fees because of additional benefits with the card. Credit cards are a good way to building your credit if you use it responsiblely. Meaning, pay all your statement balance and make sure you have to money to spend
@@coreywatson5580 It’s not a stupid question. I had my mom teach me when I was 18
will this card ever report to all three bureaus?
Bruh
Ultimate boomer
They just started this month.
Dillon Fahey bet imma go ahead and get it then, I was waiting til it can boost my total credit for all three bureaus
This is actually what I’m waiting for.
Guess we’re not getting a HomePod Mini until this pandemic is over?
I’m waiting on it cuz the big one is on sale but I’m trying to hold out
@@Jammastertay I would buy the current HomePod. It's original starting price was $349, Apple now sells it directly for $299, and I have seen first-hand HomePods selling for $179 brand new at Sam's Club. The deals could not be better and it truly is a phenomenal smart speaker. Updates have increased its functionality with new features. I have been skeptical of all the rumors regarding a mini HomePod. Apple sets very high standards internally. I don't think that an affordable HomePod would meet these standards and if one were to be developed, it would be priced similarly to the original, defeating the purpose. Send it man, get the original one!
VortexLABS good points man. Have you got a pair or a solo? I’ve been duelling with an idea of getting another one just dunno if it totally worth it or not
Jam I just picked one up at Best Buy. It was on sale for $199 but I traded in an old iPad Air 1st gen so I walked out paying $155 after tax
@DerpyDoge lmao. Looking at this 3 months in the future. You had no idea it would cost just $100😂
The Apple Watch can now be on monthly installments.

Will you do good with a 1 hour one?

I love my Apple Card!! It has replaced so many other cards i had.. convenience and features are awesome!

what features?
Ima get an Apple Card as soon as I can
You should put a DBRAND skin on it
I find it odd how not everywhere accepts Apple Pay in the US. (not sure about anywhere else). Here is Australia, every store that has EFPOS machines, has Apple Pay. I almost never have to take my wallet out with me, I have my card on my phone and my driver’s license in my phone case. Would be good if the Apple Card was in Australia/everywhere else.
i literally use apple pay w everything
Is Paying your tmobile monthly billl count as 3% cash back?
I have a few thoughts about the card. I kind of agree that Apple or the bank they use does not post to the credit services in the beginning. Obviously now they do. Yes, it is geared toward young customers however if they are not able to use the card in a beneficial way, hurting their score could really hurt them.
If Apple gives them a small limit, and helps them understand budgeting and being able to pay off debt without hurting or damaging their score if they are not able to pay off the debt, that’s a benefit to them. Once they start being able to do it themselves, then the score can post to the bureaus, then it benefits them.
I love that how NOBODY talking about the security aspects of the Apple Card but only the Credit aspects. Even this video mentioned only that much you can change your physical card number with a tap of a button and report if a transaction was not you with a tap of a button and that's it like it was nothing worth exploring. I mean all credit cards and mobile banks has this convenience? The only reason I am considering an Apple Card is the security aspect but NOBODY is talking about that.
How in the world did Apple get away with not reporting to card companies 😳

I wish I could get approved. But I’m barely making over $400/mo right now. So I can’t even pay off my discover card. And when I try to get apple cars there like, hey your debt obligations are to high.
Great job drew I actually was inspired by your video to get the Apple Card and it has been beneficial keep up the good content 👍
Goldman Sachs "suffering". LOL 😂
I don’t use the card but I do use ApplePay more than I did before which I think is the point of Apple Card ironically. If I need to use a physical credit card I use another one with better cash back rewards.
Literally just waiting for it to be released in the UK along with Apple Pay Cash!
What’s taking so long Apple! 😬
formalities
A bank wanting to adopt it
You need a bank to adopt it. The Apple card is really a Goldman Sachs Credit Card. It even reports to the CB as GS not apple.
I don’t think we will be getting that lovely cash back 3% UK so it’s probably a major negotiation with banks to support it as they won’t really be getting anything
@@claudiabailey5302 pretty sure there better cards out there that give you 3% or more depending on the purchase. Apple card is pretty eh
This is clever of Apple to make their products available at 0% on Apple Card, very good
Me when I got my apple card: "Wow, this is such an easy way to build my score up!" Apple: "Easy now, girl." All this time I felt so good about this card and I find out that my score is not even built up? Hahahaha
So... yes and no. You ARE building credit. Apple just isn't reporting it to everyone yet. So you are going to see score increases for good behavior and decreases for bad, Apple is just taking its time reporting. I'm not sure why they're doing this. It could be they don't want their brand new card to be a bad thing for customers and as such are holding off until Apple is sure the card will be successful. There's also something to say for Apple and Equifax having fundamentally different ideas of privacy. I'd imagine there's a good reason for them to be more conservative as to who they're reporting credit to. Rest assured, however, that you will definitely see your score rise from using your card.
Cap Oh ok that's good to know. Thank you!
I love the card so much.. Even if I get less rewards than another the card the convenience and daily cash are worth it.
I kinda forgot already that Apple had a credit card
