Okay where do I even start? This deserves more views. It’s amazing and the melody of the music box mixed with the light beautiful sound of the vocals makes something you could listen on repeat and cry every time at a different part of the song. The middle is my favourite part you can really feel the emotion behind it and it’s like at that point Aziraphale is ready to loose everything he knows and is familiar with just so he can be with Crowley. You’ve made a masterpiece and I’m so glad you decided to post it it’s so beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️

Aziraphale is far from demonstrative in the show, but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel everything. The whole time I was listening to this I imagined Crowley hearing it. Hearing even a part, and realizing it was always true.

This song hurts so much more after season two. Because even though it looks selfish, what he did at the end, it was actually the most selfless, everything was for Crowley. To keep him safe even if that means Aziraphale can't be happy and Crowly might hate him. Because if we refer back to a deleted scene in season one, he turned down a promotion.
Season two, he turns down the premotion again. Its only untill the option of getting to bring Crowley, the option to return him where he saw him happiest, that he accepted. You capture his chracter perfectly in this song.
