Came here after listening to "Carry Me." I didn't quite get it after watching this through the first time. The second time brought me to tears. This is so beautiful in every respect, both the professional quality cinematic and the wonderful vocals. I LOVE it!!!
I get the emotion in this clip - so well portrayed by the music. The pain of losing a loved one, the emptiness, aloneness and longing to be able to touch them, hold them here in this physical plane. Even though they may be close to us in spirit, existing in a higher dimension, yet seeing us & even visiting us, we are rarely aware of their presence. It is the bonds of love which make it possible for us to feel their presence or even see them here in this physical plane. No other thing is more important in the whole of existence than love.

I'm currently reading The King of Elfland's Daughter. After coming back to this song, I realize it perfectly captures the longing Alveric has for Lirazel after she has returned to Elfland and its borders and mountains have receded to a place unknown. Alveric goes on a quest to find her once again. Whispers also possesses the novel's enchanted atmosphere. So beautiful!
I usually don't like this kind of music, the kind without words. But the video, the voice. It speaks every word in every needed volume to understand without words. It is how it should be and is absolutely perfect.
