The Royal Pavilion, and surrounding gardens, also known as the Brighton Pavilion, is a Grade I listed former royal residence located in Brighton, England. Beginning in 1787, it was built in three stages as a seaside retreat for George, Prince of Wales, who became the Prince Regent in 1811, and King George IV in 1820.
The spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George IV) transformed by John Nash between 1815 and 1823 into one of the most dazzling and exotic buildings in the British Isles.
The Royal Pavilion mixes Regency grandeur with Indian architecture and Chinese inspired interiors.
    Highlights include:
A Prince’s Treasure - over 120 remarkable Royal Collection items from Buckingham Palace on loan from Her Majesty The Queen.
Queen Victoria’s Bedroom - the original elegant 19th-century Chinese Export Wallpaper which hung in the bedroom has been reinstated.
    Beautifully restored Regency Garden
