In some cases, national teams have too much blessing in one position and not so much elsewhere, and well, we want to look at cases like that today.

You missed Sweden, we are overloaded in benchwarmers. We can probably field at least two non-starting elevens with players who haven't seen regular game time at club level for years. We have Lindelof, Robin Olsen, Emil Forsberg, Cajuste, Elanga, Albin Ekdal... The list goes on!

One thing I will say is I'm impressed with Brazil. They had no good gk in 2014 (Julio Cesar was past his prime) and they struggled there. Now they have 2 champions league winning gks. That's amazing to see

Brazil was not short of GK in 2014 at all. It was just a matter of choice by status rather than performance.

Brazil now beinh overloaded in the defensive midfielder position is quite ironic when you consider that back in a day Casemiro lied about being a CDM just to get some gametime, as no one wanted to play there
Indeed, the current Brazilian squad is quite different from how the team has typically looked historically. Brazil used to produce an endless slew of elite attackers and fullbacks, and while it still has some good players nowadays at these positions, neither is particularly overloaded.

I like to think that 80% of the top Brazillian CDMs chose to play this position to avoid competitions and now they’re overloaded in that very position
I always found it ironic that Slovenia had 2 of the best goalkeepers in the world Handanović and Oblak, and every other position wasn't that good. but now they have Šeško and Handanović is retired.
I remember there was a funny time period where the 2 best players in the entire country of Slovenia were 2 goalkeepers and the rest of that squad was literal nobody

The funny thing is that despite having an abundance of goalkeepers, it will be Germany who will be caught lacking in that very position soon. Their best goalkeepers are now ageing, and they are simply not producing good enough talent for that position anymore. For a country that has for decades now produced insanely good keepers, it is a shame they can't keep up with themselves anymore.

croatia is overloaded in midfield, there is so much depth that a lot of them play as forwards for the national team (ivanusec, pasalic, vlasic, persic) while there is the trio of modric brozovic and kovacic, 3 world class players who could be replaced by upcoming talents like majer, baturina etc.
They play as forwards because Croatian attack is awful not because Croatia have much depth, and cus Croatia have no Wingers. Also Croatia is definitely not overload in midfield. LMAO. Good midfielders are old while young players are average at best

Germany's overload at GK, like Spain's at midfield, is nothing new. There was a time when Jens Lehmann could barely get any playing time because of Oliver Kahn.

At one point sometime ago Brazil was so overdosed with quality defensive midfielders, it had become a crisis: Casemiro, Fabinho, Bruno Guimaraes, Douglas Luiz. And now with Fabinho gone, talented and promising new boys have been thrown in the fray: Andre (Fluminense), Danilo (Nottingham Forest), and Andrey Santos
Italy, left backs: Federico Di Marco, Cristiano Biraghi, Destiny Udogie, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Leonardo Spinazzola. All quality LB’s.

England's Midfield is not stacked, easy starting three of Bellingham, Madison and Rice, the others you mentioned are either wingers or simply not even good enough to compete with those three even if they were in the same team. Ward-Prowse is a baller by the way
absolutly, no doubt there. guys like philips and gallagher are youngster who still have a lot to prove. grealish and phoden are more wingers. the guy tottaly exagerates the notion of being overloaded. in the right back is actually harder to choose, but midfield is easily those three.

Who makes these lists?
"Spain are short in GKs" we have Unai Simon as a starter, players that don´t start are Real Madrid´s starting GK (Kepa), Chelsea´s starting GK (Robert Sanchez), Arsenal´s GK David Raya (arguably starter), Real Sociedad´s starting GK (Remiro).
Meanwhile, for Brazil you have said they have lots of midfielders (a part of the pitch where usually 2 players can play), you have included Saudi League Fabinho and Allan, can´t make it in Barça-Juve-Liverpool Arthur, and Fred.
For Germany you have said they have lots of GKs and you included on the list the likes of Ortega, Trapp, Karius, Baumman... which are all worse than Spanish
Portugal also has a lot of strikers

Only average Ramos and old Ronaldo

I feel like argentina has a Lot of good Strikers. You obviously have Lautaro Martínez AND Julián Álvarez. But also Nicolás González, Ángel Correa, Joaquín Correa, Beltrán, Icardi, Giovanni Simeone, Dybala Is not exactly a Striker but hes also there

Nico Gonzalez has never been a striker. The others Beltran,Tucu Correa, Angel Correa and Diego Simeone are average and no longer called for National duties. dybala is shadow of his prime, he is very talented but lacks pace and has poor work rate.
However 2014 Argentina squad had the best strike options with Aguero,Higuain and Tevez not forgetting Lavezzi, Dimaria, Pastore at the wings. Not having mentioned Messi himself. That was world class.
England is also overloaded in RWs. Foden, grealish, rashford, sterling, barnes and smith-rowe, plus players who can play in that position like bowen and mount.
France with their mid fielders
Griezman, rabit, pogba, kante, camavinga, tchouamanie,fofana,matuidi nd so on....
France have a lot of goalkeepers like Lloris , Maignan , Areola , Samba , and Lafont
Also good future - Restes, Diouf, Chevalier
Even not NT level GKs from France, are unique because of style. Many of them are short and insane in jumping/reflex saves. A lot of good examples from past - Jeremy Janot, Damien Gregorini, Lionel Letizi, Ulrich Rame, Fabien Cool, Steve Elana, Gennaro Bracigliano, Teddy Richert, etc
Make Neuer and Ter Stegen play DM/CB. Germany lack badly in both of these, and both GKs are excellent ball players. That way, even if Ortega or Trapp see red, Neuer and Ter Stegen can cover
Germany are Overloaded with managers, Klopp, Nagelsmann, Tuchel, Hansi Flick, Joachim Löw, Daniel Stendel, Marco Rose

Brazil has many really good winger players in both sides more than defensive mid filders I believe
Portugal is overloaded with inverted left-wingers, not right fullbacks... Cedric and Ricardo Pereira are no longer playing for our national team, basically we only have Dalot, Semedo and Cancelo (and now João Mario from FC Porto). The left-wing is indeed stacked: Rafael Leão, Felix, Jota, Ricardo Horta, Guedes (Bruma from SC Braga, Pedro Gonçalves from Sporting CP, Pedro Neto from Wolves and Galeno from FC Porto don´t stand a chance... and the list goes on).
Argentina is overloaded with GKs. They have
Emi Martinez(Aston Villa)
Franco Armani(River Plate)
Walter Benitez(PSV )
Gero Rulli(Ajax)
Juan Musso(Atalanta)
Mateo Morro(independiente)
The only one who gets chance and a full time player is Emi Martinez.
France are also staked in St like mabappe griezman Giroud and lots more
Germany has far too many attacking midfielders too. The only real CFs we've had on the national team in the past couple of years are Volland and Füllkrug, everyone else (Müller, Brandt, Reus, Havertz, Werner, Gnabry, Sané, Musiala, Wirtz, Moukoko, Hofmann) is just attacking midfield.
What about germanys midfield (CAM, CM, CDM, LM, RM) ?
