- Breaking in the new tires the only way I know how! DOWN and Dirty and in the MUD. The BLACK WiDOW is a powerful Radio Controlled truck that rarely ever gets to "see full throttle". But, in true RCSparks style.. lets get it muddy, and do it right! I have been working on my backyard trail park for several weeks, preparing for the summer. I have been on quarantine during the 2020 health crisis and I have found that keeping my mind and body busy has played an essential role in being healthy. I ordered up some NEW 1.9 TSL BOGGER Tires from Proline Racing. Here is the amazon link I mention in the video to the tires: amzn.to/2SDZytj (if you want them already glued to plastic wheels, thats available also and it's only 8$ more: amzn.to/3b7O08e) I have built up almost ALL areas of my backyard park.. and have wet everything down with the hose to make it EXTRA slippery. I really want to test these tires and see if they are as good as I have heard. Yes, I have owned these tires before.. but never on the Black Widow.

The 1.9 Boggers are awesome and are great at pretty much everything. I have them on my TRX4 Sport and Gen7 for crawling,trailing, mud bogging and hill climbing. Both trucks perform better at everything with these tire than any other tires I’ve tried.
I have a set of 2.2 mud slingers on my wraith and they work great. The tread deforms to any terrain and they are great all around.
mud runs are so much fun. full size & RC sized. CAPO JK MAX dream RC jeep. The scale looks are just incredible

My dream RC is all RCs. A big bad ass powerful Monster truck, a nice trail truck, some heavy duty earth moving equipment, 6x6 and 8x8 trucks, a road race car, electric, combustion engine, some RC forklift to load some unsecured pallet on my RC hauler, an RC mining site to dig some gold... all of them :D
The 'Widow' doing what she does best and these new boots just add to her capabilities.

I love the proline super swamper tire they grip good and look scale to. Love the black widow. My dream Rc would be a brushless Capra with 2.2 tire and brass for more weight down

You asked about our dream RCs, for me there's 2.
The first is the Wraith I had to sell a few years ago, she was a beauty. Ally panels, SSD beadlocks that I sprayed blue, loads of Vanquish bits, an RC4WD 2 speed transmission, Hitec servo (bought after she'd eaten about 3 others), bec, Axial 55t can, 1060 ESC and 3s power. Damn I miss her.
The second dream RC is a 14th scale JCB 540-170 Telehandler. That's my favourite of all the Telehandlers I've driven. Unfortunately I don't think an RC one exists yet.
1:1 wheeler here in Colorado. I found Loader Kings and watched every episode..then went to UA-cam Gold season 1,2 and just finished your solo Season 3 Ep1 video now this...got to admit...42 years old and I will be getting an RC to do some scale wheeling. That Widow is such a classic looking rig. Love it ! Those tires work great. 👍 gotta love spring time RC fun 😁. The RC hobby is such a great way to spend time. I'm wondering about a paddle tire run with the x max on the crawler course , now there's a tire test , but it could be the fact that my x max is being delivered today 😁😂🤣

I like the tires that you are running and the blue and gold excavator.
My son and I each have a MOA Danchee Redrock. We really love this truck, but it is made from really crappy parts. It can flex like none other, and is a ton of fun. I’d go for something just like it but stronger. Or even better would be metal components and axles etc, and Not MOA. I’d love to have a transfer case sending power down the drive shafts.

Because of your channel our family and friends got hooked on rc. And our collection is growing rapidly yet weirdly our wallet is slinking even faster. The only crawler we have now is my wife's customized TRX-4 but we are already using a third of the garden building our own crawler course ;-) Thanks for yet another great vid and seeing you having fun brings us fun as well!

I love these tires. How ever. I love them even more. With the small lug cut off. They clean out so much better Replace the stock foam with 2 stage foam to bring back some rigity to replace what was removed. And you’ll have even better tires

I've only gotten to use the stock, Traxxas 1.9 TRX-4 tires & the Pro-line 2.2 Hyrax, but I really enjoy my Hyrax. I put the 1.9 foams in them & Love watching the flex grab traction!
My dream RC is actually one you have, (I know imagine that right!? Lol) the JK MAX , it’s such a beautifully done machine. I love watching any of the videos you have of it and although I could never afford it, I still drool when I see it on here.

My dream rc to own? Either the Cross 8x8 Behemoth or the Capo 6x6. Guess I just want a big ass military truck. I'm using the fake Ottsix Voodoo 1.9s from Wish. Once there treated in Simple Green, there a great tire. Thanks for keeping the hobby alive during these times. Great seeing you out on the mine site as well.

Dream RC is a RC4wd trail finder 2 with the 85 4 runner body. Almost there, got the truck need the body and boggers obviously. The Iroks that came with it are really good too. Love the black widow medic, stay safe!!!

I have the same Bogger tires love them good grip nice and soft easy to grip Rock overall my favorite Tire and I really like the fact with just a little wheel spin the tire completely clean to the mud out
TSL bloggers with Proline dual stage foams and every other lug cut out makes a great crawler tire!

My dream rc is an xmaxx, hopefully I'll have one by Christmas, for a 15yr old like me it takes a lot of saving up! But it's worth it!

Don't buy Traxxas batteries. Over priced and "Meh" performance. Though the warranty of quite ok...
What I run...
Ovonic 4S 6000mah 60c (might need new connectors soldered on,) or Zop power 4S 6400mah 30c again needing new connectors. I run XT90's.
On the 8s X-Maxx you won't regret the performance... or run times!!! Thing pulls wheelies everywhere and that's on the stock ESC!!! i have a Hobbywing max6 ready to go in but it's too much fun!!!

@@steveblackbird all my batteries and other rc's have xt90 connectors that I soldered on, I don't use traxxas batteries the price of them is practically double

I do the same thing with spinning my tiers in mud sometimes I’ll sit there for way to long not getting anywhere when it’s not even a difficult obstacle! Great looking truck!
Yesterday I ordered some proline 1.9 boggers from tower hobbies, RC 4wd 5 star beadlocks a few new batteries and a new charger, 20t motor, cost more than my deadbolt when I got it last year, thanks medic for getting me into this fun sometimes expensive hobbie, but I knew exactly what to spend my Rona money on RC and 4wheeler parts!

I like the Proline Badlands in 2.2. Been using those off and on for quite a few years with a SCX 10 1st gen Dingo. They're styled after a motocross tire. Good stuff, I like it! Thank you.
Pit Bull rock beast XOR 1.9 are my favourites (the ones with all the extra siping not the XL's)
they are a little shorter giving you a nice and low cg but they make up for their lack in ground clearance in width and amazing all-terrain grip/traction plus that alien compound is amazing.

I felt the same with my slash too. Just got two Element Enduro Trailwalkers and there is just so much more you can do with crawlers.

I had some boggers but never tried them. In fact I gave them to Mikal they look to do quite well. Still love the mudslingers though.
I remember one of my toy grade rc cars when I played with it and it got dusty and I didnt know that it was waterproof so i washed it and I fried the thing 🤣
