City's defense still feels like a problem man! Time at times, Real Madrid was exploiting the spaces so well. At certain points, it almost felt impossible that Madrid would not score. I think Pep's tactic was build up around KDB being there since he was in the lineup until he reported sick when they reached the stadium. Kovacic was just a haphazard replacement so I think the tactic wasnt working in the first half but Pep changed the plan after seeing the first half.
Also Carlo seems to have played both Rodrygo and Vinicius on same side to exploit the fact that Walker was missing.
