The visualizer was just a still photo of the album cover when the album came out but after he passed they made the sky move in the window. I believe it’s going down. Symbolizing that he’s ascending up to heaven. So it goes actually has that at the end. The night he passed he made a post that producer Jon brion nailed the sound of ascending to heaven. Both Swinming and Circles are just really eerie. This man knew his time was gonna run out and he really got that across from these albums

I would listen to Faces altogether in one listen. It’s long but if you have the time it’s truly quite the experience and a journey. My favorite mixtape of all type. Also Macadelic has some amazing songs as well like Fight the Feeling, Thoughts from a balcony, etc

Firstly, im so glad you said it, Mac had THE BEST adlibs hands down! Faces/good am/swimming/WMWTSO all have hilarious adlibs but they also work on a professional level at times as well. Mac was just such a character and a genius when it comes to putting together a song and the structure of his songs. He knew the perfect time to add them into the recording process to emphasize the vibe he makes you feel for the that particular song. Also to the point about him being on his own and doing things by himself is a very good observation. Especially since this album proves your point as it does not have any features. I think JID does adlibs in self care, Snoop Dog has adlibs in Whats the use (as well as thundercat on bass) but there is no other singing and or rapping on this LP. Just mac doing his thing, and its a beautiful result with all the music he left us before he passed. Yes he had a very bright career ahead, and judging by his grammy nom for this album, he wouldve have been nominated and probably won several by the time he was in his mid 30s. At least one or two wins and same for nominations, and I'll take that prediction to the bank. His trajectory was incredible with the way he evolved with his music. True art. Thankfully Ive accepted his death more now, it still makes me sad, and being from Pittsburgh and getting to see him live are things that help me realize how awesome he was, and just enjoy what he left us for decades to come. Love you JK bros, cant wait for more mac.

Kinda makes you wonder, he passed 4 months before turning 27.
