Love it! Love it!! Love it!!! Especially the inside of the cover! I think I remember you saying it was a Gelli print! It is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing with us exactly how to make it!
I have been watching your channel for 4 months and have really found it helpful. I make and sell handmade books, journals, and junk journals in craft fairs in USA. You have such creative and artistic style that I can look through my enourmous stash of tools and paper and apply your ideas. I really appreciate the ideas you have to make different types of journals, with ephameria, with charms and jewlery, with cheap cover ideas, etc.
Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial! I think I will try one with your bubble technique rather than fabric but it is so helpful to have both options. TFS!!
Dragana, what can I say.... These covers are so wonderful! Maybe also or even because of the beautiful fabric and gelli prints 😍😉😍Every time these great results come out as soon as you get creative 🧡🧡🧡
Aww, thank you so much Steffi! I'm really glad you like them. I'm surprised how easy they were to make. I should definitely make more. They would make nice presents as simple notebooks with blank papers 😊
Fantastic! Great way to create a journal cover using envelopes! Your covers turned out beautifully! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful tutorial with us!💕
Oooh I love love your Gelli prints they are gorgeous! I think I will make a few for my craft fair coming up! Beautiful work Dragana! I sewed my first journal cover today!😂😂😂😂 total disaster and yes I sewed the wrong side like you mentioned ,so guess I’m keeping it. Your sewing is spot on!❤. Thanks for sharing another fab video 💗💗💗💗🎨🖌️
You're so welcome Keturah! Glad you found the video useful. I think we learn best from our mistakes, at least I do. I've done it wrong so many times, and I still forget sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
Love this video. Your cover is beautiful and would like to make one for my sister’s birthday with a garden theme. The inside green paper, I assume it was done with a gel plate which is stunning. I would like to know what king of paper did you use ? Thank you. Love your videos
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Inside paper is a gel print and I used deli paper, also called butcher paper or tissue paper. Cheap thin paper that is great for gel printing. I happen to have one that was light greenish grey color, probably wasn’t bleached, instead of the usual white. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment 😊❤️
You are absolutely amazing!! I love your work and creativity and your detail in explaining and showing us exactly how to do it. I noticed you said you used your own (beautiful btw) Gel or Gelly Paper. Do you have a video on how to do that? I would love to try and make some. Thanks a bunch! So happy my friend shared your site with me! Have a blessed day!! MaryJo
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I really appreciate it. There is a playlist called Gelli Printing Fun on my channel. I think you might found useful info about gelli printing there. 😊❤️
Love these journal covers Dragona, they’re beautiful! I love the idea of using gelli prints too, I have loads of them that I’m hoarding waiting for the perfect use! Gelli printing is one of those addictive crafts that you can’t call a halt too just in case the next print is The One! 😂 I love the stencil of the leaves that you used on the print that you lined your fabric journal with, do you mind if I ask which brand it is please? Xx
Thank you so much for watching. I used stencil by Cadence. BN-175 is the number on it. I bought it in a local store but I've seen it in some online craft shops. ❤️😊
@@Saacibo Hi! Thank you for the information, sadly I’ve checked online here in the UK but nobody stocks them, but I can get my sister in law to send them from Turkey for me, they may not get here as quickly as a local delivery but I’m happy knowing they’ll be on their way ( I say they because I spotted a few others I like too😂!) I have followed you from the start and look forward to your videos and I always get a smile when I see you’ve posted one! Xx
I really like both the paper and the fabric journal covers. With that sais, you really threw me off when you said properly. There is no such thing as peoperly when making junk journals. Theres just different. You do you and ill do me. I usualy only give positive, upbeat comments, and I'm not trying to be negative, but everyone likes to use different styles for their crafts
I agree with you. Everyone should do everything their way. My intention is never to push my way. If it came across like that then I probably didn’t express myself well 😊
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you Dragana 💚
You are so welcome! 😊❤️
Beautiful! Thank you for the complete instructions on completing these covers!

Dragana where are you from? Your work is simply amazing. Thank you for sharing it all.
You're very welcome! Thank you so much! I'm from Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, south east Europe 😊❤️
when you had the envelope opened, why not glue the second one in,instead of having to feed the glued one inside the other one?
I wanted to have 3 sheets of paper on the outside ( cover) and only 1 for the pocket, but you can certainly do it your way if it's easier for you 😊❤️
