I was aesir in that game. One tip with a sharpshooter comp is always bring butlers or lazaruses. Butlers can build radar bots and radar jammers if you get junoed and can also act as reclaimers as you push up. Same thing with lazaruses they cann revive the dead radar bots if it gets junoed. Was a fun game even though we lost.
37:10 I know this would be insane levels of greed, but it'd be hilarious if all the cons but one stopped what they were doing to slurp up the attacking thors. I wonder how much dps that amount of cons would end up dealing, but it'd be so unbelievably tilting to lose Thors to a bunch of constructors.
That bombing run into a 180 into another bombing run was super sick. Never saw that before, but it looks insane. I wonder if it was accidental or if there's some move attack command queueing you can do to replicate it and maybe even keep 180ing more than once? That'd be a cool trick to quickly blow up something important that's stationary with few bombers before AA can arrive.
I really enjoy the casting-while-playing style of this video! More of these, please! It's very informative of what considerations I should have while playing.
Something i saw you do right that you didnt mention (in this video) is you dont try to hold the choke point in the narrowest part like your opponent but instead you set up a concave just within range of the narrow part
@@alexanderjmihalich8525 No, I think it's good to mention that, I was just continuing on with the "explaining too much" theme. I'm nowhere near practiced at these games, so I might have made a mistake and ended up popping a turret at a slight distance from the choke point and trying to park some tougher, more expensive units inside it.
air scout spam + light units spam + missiles or artillery is usually my solution to sharpshooters. Everyone invests so much into counter intel but you can defeat it easily with a single t1 air factory with scouts on repeat.
"it's all jammed he's not gonna know about it" rofl, after he's been spamming that metal point for hours already... Yeah he can't see there's a mex here, but he can just attack the metal point...
@KyranFindlater downloaded. It's excellent. So frustrating that I have been googling "best traditional RTS 2023 (or current year) " for years and this never came up, world of goo, frostpunk (and many other non rts strategy town management sims) show up.

I love you aesir
a tip, would have be amazing if you took the 200 airconstruction and just reclaim those 5 thors alive xD

There may be some way to do i using the 'set target' command and not attack. 'Set target' and then issue 'move' commands to make them turn around.

that's a classic chokepoint technique for maximizing guns on target with least enemies able to engage back
Which is why it's the most correct way to defend a choke point.
Yeah I know it's generally true of all strat games but since the opponent screwed it up thought someone could benefit

3:05 commander is immune to d-gun now tho. Unless this is an older cast.
You are correct. Com immune to D-gun for the time being.
I Double space click for "after" - Space - start a blueprint (nearby without moving) - Space > back to task. Achieves "add this after"
You can use the clocked radar bot from Arm T2 to give vision instead of ticks. Just requires some micro
23:27 how do you bomb loop bomb in short timing like that? Need to know please =)
I'm not sure I understand what Juno does. It damage or reveal spy units? Or block units in the area from using radar?
Destroys radar, radar jamming, and ticks.
@@KraziEyevin thanks
