Feels bittersweet since I know a few more days of grinding would get me around 5'45↓ but I already spend way too much time on this and need to catch up on other stuff.
In the end I'm as always not really satisfied with how clean the run looks but that will probably never change. (wasn't able to show off some really cool mechanics, missed some dmg/HB opportunities and got hit unnecessarily, coal uptime was also quite bad)
For some reason Velkhana didn't nova at all, which was nice.
Might try to get a sub 4 Mizu in the demo now or smth, LS seems to be bugged anyway so idk.
Only smaller Iceborne runs from now on if any at all until Rise.

Yesterday I found out that because of the BGM i used in this video it got blocked in almost every country since June, so I had to replace it. Very unfortunate since this is a run I'm really proud of and the music fit really well. I guess this shows that you just can't trust anime music. Maybe this will be reason enough for me to go back and get a sub 5:50. f

@@peanutbutterjellysandwich9542 not really, you have a 2/3 chance of velkhana doing the right attack for it to work (3rd stab or spin work, flying won't)

Does the beam ISS at 3:55 effectively require quick sheath? Talk about a stylish, efficient, and superhuman way to proc Coalescence!
I don't think it's really required ever, the quick sheathe lvl2 basically comes natural with this set

I don't really trust pc speedruners cause they can do some mods and changes on the game , so you really can't tell if it's legit or not , and obviously they always say they don't use any cheats , a theif doesn't say I'm a theif for example
You can always check yourself the damage dealt each move on the specific part of monsters with the same build as this speedrunner..
The problem is you don't want to, because you are coward
There are no cheats. He maintains full Lv 3 LS (not easy on Velkh) with every buff possible. That’s dramatically higher damage than base, which is why it looks so high to you. If you strain to follow every move, you’ll start seeing why each was done and the runner doesn’t have a lot of options. He’s following Velkhana with intense precision. It’s like watching music being performed. The more you watch Nito the better you’ll understand LS.
