call me crazy, but i think this is a nod/detail/reference to the movie Evolution and the Scene where (Wayne) , Seann William Scout , starts doing "Caw caw caw caw" and is almost at the same rythm Ellis does. The scene is in that mall where they try to hunt down that Dragon thing.
