@@FreeSalesTips no it's not. Considering your reply to me in another thread was JUST INSULTS, it is not even good for personal growth or discipline obviously. I use to argue you would get at least that...but I have ran into enough aikido practitioners like you that the evidence is quite clear that is not the case anymore. Aikido doesn't free spar rejesh. They have noway to tell if what they teach actually works in a martial setting. Any martial arts school that claims they are combat effective without free sparring is lying...and in fact one of the biggest hallmark of being bullshido. My experience with aikido decades ago has been actually positive. No claims of combat effectiveness...just we do this for self growth. Turns out wasn't something I was interested in...but was positive and something I would have recommended people to try. Obviously not the case anymore with all these moron who thinks a system without free sparring will work in actual combat. I'm not saying stress testing is everything...but you need some of it or you really don't know if it works in real applications.
I like your aikido, I admire how you use your weight and how you move your body as a unit and how agile you are, but if I may say, I think that the techniques have many unnecessary turns and in excess, which impairs the application in street, I think the techniques could be more linear and with more atemi and blows to the nose, neck or groin etc ...
UFC is a fighting sport. This means UFC works by the athletes attacking each other according to the rules. Aikido is a purely self-defence martial art meaning that using only Aikido in UFC means that the athlete will never win.
@@russelbangot8245 as much as I hate to give credibility to FreeSalesTip...UFC is a sport. It's nothing like street fights. Street fights generally don't involve highly trained singular opponent...but what it does generally involve is multiple attackers...or weapons...or both. There is in a lot of cases excessive amounts of alcohol or other drugs involved that make pain compliance less effective. Not that aikido is any better mind you...but UFC is not really like a street fight. Closer than an art that has no sparring I'll grant...but it really is not close either.
@@russelbangot8245 The exact same thing happens. The principles of aikido doesn't change no matter how heavy, how tall, how strong, or how quick is the aggressor. Aikido is fundamentally about attaining efficient harmony and this is always the case for all human aggressors.
@@FreeSalesTips oh really...guess that is why I have beaten EVERY SINGLE AIKIDOKA that has ever dared to fight me. Even the ones stronger...or quicker...or taller...or hell all of the above. Some even called themselves masters of the art. Picking fights with aikidokas who claim what they do is combat effective was a great hobby of mine some two decades ago. The ones who say it is for discipline or self growth I have no issues with...but seriously, what you do is not for combat purposes. Oh and considering aikido has produced such an asshat like you...I'm gonna have to start taking issues with claims of discipline and self growth too it seem. I can't wait to visit some aikido schools in the near future to see how much they failed.

Intention has no meaning within real aikido. The only meaning for aikido is whether there is enough energy for the aikido guy to use and reflect.
