    They should have kept Scotty Pippen Jr. And maybe Huff. Castleton is on Memphis now too. JHS probably ends up there.

    Winning another title, my God, what shit? With Rob Pelinka there, they can never win.

    Everytime I saw Jalen Hood Schifino, in the G LEAGUE,
    He was the best.

    What about max lewis another terrible pick. Makes me sick we passed on trace jackson-davis, which plays and is effective for GS

    Rob Pelinka collected all the available garbage from NBA. They should kick him out first.

    Both JHS and Max Lewis were bad picks on a really, really loaded 2023 draft class.
    I’m not kidding when I say that Bronny showed MORE visible growth in the past month than JHS has in a year.
    JHS is a methodical slow footed PG, and I think DLo and Austin showed the ceiling on that type of player. Problem is, JHS is too focus on getting his own (which is wild, considering that he is not a versatile scorer) to the detriment of showing that he lacked NBA Level Playmaking.

      @@Zangerstein JHS is only 21? The Lakers knew he was a young player with upside potential ( slow footed or not ) when they drafted him? If they didn’t than every Lakers scout and even Pelinka should be fired for wasting the highest draft pick the Lakers had in years! You’re supposed to know these things before you draft a player.

    JALEN HOOD SCHIFINO, is a lot
    Better than BRONNY JAMES.
    THE TRUTH.

    What was he like prior to drafting him ? Oftentimes, many players such as him loom promising but just don't fit well for some reason or the other, and whenever they're cast aside, they seem like the best thing since slice bread.

    They should have gotten Brandin Podziemski 🤔 Jalen Hood Schufino is a very big disappointment. The first game of podziemski with Warriors, he was truly NBA-ready. A complete player. Lakers should trade for Mitchell Robinson or Goga Bitadze or Nick Richards.

    What do Lakers fans think about LA declining JHS' Team Option?
    Did they give up on the kid too soon?
    Should they never have drafted the kid in the first place?
    What Trade packages do you think the Lakers can cobble up using JHS' salary?

    • @mauricewhite574
      @mauricewhite574 Місяць тому

      @@lakerslegacypod Personally I think it’s not JHS fault that the Lakers drafted him 17th just last year! The Lakers owe it to the fans and to this player to create an atmosphere where he can develop his skills and become successful! This is what the Lakers used to do! Especially when Jerry Buss and Jerry West ran the team! This is embarrassing! It would have been better to include the kid in a deal along with another high salaried player for a center! But to blame this kid after one year on the team by taking away his option is pathetic! You’re blaming this kid without giving him a chance! The Lakers knew when they drafted him that he wasn’t athletic, very young, and was a player who needed development when they drafted him. JHS was only 19 years old when the Lakers drafted him. This takes time and not just one season which he hasn’t even had the opportunity to play! As a Lakers fan since 1969? The Lakers should be ashamed of the way they have treated this very young player. Not every player drafted can be a Dalton Knecht . Dalton Knecht was 23 years old when the Lakers drafted him last year. He is already seasoned and mature. JHS is 20-21 years old? And you expect more out of him than a 28 year old D’Angelo Russell who hasn’t played decent defense since he’s been a Laker? Why do you think teams don’t want him? Because he doesn’t play defense and he’s very inconsistent offensively! But I don’t see the Lakers embarrassing him like they’re doing this young kid.

      The Lakers put JHS in a situation where he can’t win!

    Why is it the Lakers have patience in developing a player, paying a guaranteed salary, and guaranteeing a roster spot to Bronny James who everyone can see doesn’t belong playing in the NBA! Why? Because he simply has no talent and there are far better players who deserve an opportunity to play in the NBA than Bronny. Markelle Fultz, Lonnie Walker Jr. and Stanley Johnson are all better than Bronny James, but the Lakers insist on holding a guaranteed roster spot plus guaranteed salary for Bronny James? While these veteran NBA players can’t find jobs on NBA rosters? Now the Lakers have no patience after only one season with JHS? After one season they have no time to develop JHS? Let’s see how the Lakers use this same measuring stick when it comes to the development of Bronny James!

    Proposed 3 Team Trade w/ CHA & BKNY @ Deadline: D’Lo/JHS/Jaxson or Wood for Schroder/Tre Mann/Nik Richards
    • Start Schroder bcuz He is an Experienced Guard that has played with US Before.
    • Bring Mann off Bench and Develop Him to start @ PG in 1-2 Years.
    • Bring Nik off the Bench & allow Him to play 15-20 Minutes with & for AD a Game.

    • @truckerstar24
      @truckerstar24 Місяць тому

      Schroder and trae Mann? Not. one of them is okay. 2 small guards plus Gabe is not a good formula. Lakers need big guards that can play defense. I like Schroder since he’s a high energy, fast point of attack defender. Also has chemistry with LeBron and AD.

      @ - Who would You suggest?
      And, I’m not a Huge Fan of Smaller Guards however, look @ some of the other Starting PG’s in the West - Steph/Tyus/Kyrie/Fox//VanVleet/Ja/Murray whom are all 6’4 & Under. The Beard & SGA are the only PG’s 6’5/6’6 in The West.

    • @truckerstar24
      @truckerstar24 Місяць тому +1

      @ yeah but those guys play next to bigger defensive players. Problem is you put Schroder/trae Mann or sexton next to reaves with a 40 y/o bron and Rui and we still won’t be able to stop any of those guards you mentioned. I know kyrie played next to Luka ehos a defensive cone but he’s also 6’7.

      @@gregpollard7158 I’d like to see the lakers get maybe a Bruce brown jr, Malcolm brogdon if he can somehow get healthy, Marcus smart, bogdan bogdanovic, Tim hardaway jr, nickel-Alexander Walker, Kobe white, Aaron neismith, mathyse thybulle or maybe Dyson Daniels.

    Why is it the Lakers have patience in developing a player, paying a guaranteed salary, and guaranteeing a roster spot to a player that everyone can see shouldn’t have an opportunity in playing in the NBA simply because he has no talent in Bronny James? Than having no patience after only one season in JHS? At least JHS stood out in the G League? Bronny won’t even stand out in the G-League! Bronny James is a much worse player than JHS but the Lakers continue to promote him and pretend he’s an NBA player?

      That's debatable. Not saying Bronny is good. But JHS is actually LESS athletic than Bronny. And has no other NBA skill except height I guess?

    • @mauricewhite574
      @mauricewhite574 Місяць тому

      @ Being Athletic and having talent to play in the NBA are two totally different things. Bronny has never been a top talent in his class. Not in High School. Not in college and definitely not in last summer’s draft. If it wasn’t for his father? He probably wouldn’t have been drafted at all. He should have stayed in school and it shows.

    • @blueline9052

      @mauricewhite574 I agree. I'm just pissed they took JHS 17th cause his scouting report said he was not athletic AND had no known NBA talent. He was 2 years away from being 2 years away. And a fucking FRP! Least Bronny was a nepotism 53rd pick
