Batangas Road Trip No. 25: Mataasnakahoy
The Municipality of Mataasnakahoy lies in the northeastern portion of Batangas Province. It is approximately 86 kilometers (km) from Manila, about 1 hour and a 45-minute drive south via Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). The Municipality is seven (7) kilometers from Lipa City and 23.5 km from Batangas City. It is two (2) km from the National Highway, which connects the two cities. It is bounded on the southeast by the 100th Training Wing of Fernando Air Base, Lipa City; on the southwest by Barangay Banay-banay and Bagong Pook of Lipa City; on the northwest by Taal Lake; and on the northeast by the Municipality of Balete, Batangas.
