At around half way through the Video the ivern buff just stops working. Even when He is right next to you. Very strange. In the very last round it suddenly works again

I'm not convinced this was working every round, in fact it feels like it wasn't working most rounds - watching the buff bar each round and you can see when the bush buff is active and constantly reapplying in the early rounds, then for most of the following rounds it doesn't seem to be applying. There's also around 6:30 when Renata autos Ryze and then Ivern follows up with another, and each auto does the 550 - wouldn't there be nothing for Ivern to proc if Renata was self proc'ing?
Have you considered running it with milio? That seems like it could work with his passive. Slightly less uptime perhaps, than ivern played optimally. But the range increase would be nice. It would need to be checked but since his passive dmg comes as a dot over 1.5s, you might even be able to get more than one fully empowered auto off per milio passive proc.
we tried it with my duo, it’s slightly worse because millio’s w and the passive only activates every 3 seconds lessening the dps but compared to the lulu it has more potential if u cycle the abilities well and the cleanse on millio’s ult is very effective as well. we were also against a renata lulu and we won in dps just because of the slight range buff
Me and my brother been running this comp in arena since last release lmao. I like the fact that AP milio does damage and has really good agency if you build full ap, also scales with the w and passive damage
moonflair is much better for most players, demonic is considered a bad first prismatic, you only take it if you are sure you can win, wooglet does carry early so demonic make sense in that case but even then I would personally have picked moonflair, but we do not have the same skill level, he can afford to pick scalling items since he can win with subpar items.
I tried this combo but with Renata and Amumu, his W procs her passive instantly and the amumu can build Abyssal Mask and Bloodletters for insane magic pen and is honestly the most busted thing i have tried on Arena, felt it was way stronger than the enchanter route
It's so OP without enchanters as well. I did it with another AP carry who happened to roll Phenomenal Evil and I got the mage item that gives me some of their AP while I give some of my Haste. Ended up with 1,3k ++ AP. One auto and one damage tick from them did 90% max health magic damage lmao. For sure bonkers champ.
You have to try Blitzcrank with the augment that reduces CD on hit.. Infinite juggle of enemies is insanely fun plus the prismatic item which increases CC duration when critically hit Only drawback is the arena specific CC Immunity after 5 seconds. But to be fair, 5 seconds is neough to down most opponents
this is really good but I think Lulu does a better job cuz with Ivern you have limited mobility trying to stay in bush and close to Ivern. with lulu you can run everywhere as long as you have the buff, and lulu can protect both Renata and herself. still really good with Ivern tho
this is broken, so easy to get going. besides that, can you do some stat udyr? my most broken builds have been udyr highrolling some randoms. moonflair is gg ofc but otherwise early game is rough. if u hit like 66% idek what beats you. i always roll for the item and keep it. gambler, eliza, dragonheart, runecarver, gargoyle all could be good

You do bonus damage the first time you apply the passive mark to an enemy. Your team mate has to also hit them to consume the mark before it'll do bonus damage again.
How did you not notice that the Ivern buff was never actually on you?! It's bugged in Arena. Also Nashor's Tooth is the first Item you want to get. Always.
Weird that demon king´s crown works like that, i calculated it and it boosted only your raw ap not the bonus one (you had 355 boosted by 29% its 103), as well as wooglet boosting your raw ap not bonus one (you had 355 boosted by 50% is 177), weird that the percentages do not stack/add up (355+103+177=635) i do not see any reason why it works like that, both the items are special items that cannot be bought normally so this seems like a nerf to them, but tbh if it worked like that you would get insane amounts just by having 2 items, so maybe for the better Edit: dragon heart would also only increase your raw ap i am pretty sure, since it has the same description as demon crown, so you would also only get 35% increase, which is 135 ap at max souls with wooglet + starter item, so building regular items is pretty important as it all derives from the base ap the items give and not the percentages Edit 2: demonic also only scales off of raw ap, as it gave 174 which is 40% of 425 (roughly)
as one of the like, 3 renata mains in arena, its tragic xD i went from start to gladiator, without seeing a single other renata. and without seeing a renata ban. Then they buff her and its like. boom maybe you can play her every 3 rounds.
probably not, on rift you don't have the same options to kite and heal, nor the ease of access of items. this seems terrible early game. also in 5v5, its gonna be rough with so little moblity and (i think) mediocre range
Played the Lulu version today, got Marksmage + Don't Blink + multiple Magic pen and high role ap shards + Perplexity for Marksmage and over 2.0 attack speed due Nashors and Wits end Edit: Saw 2.5k Shadow Flame crit
the only way to beat this is with AP galio with W cd augment, I had 1200 ap feeding off Lulu thread the needle + void staff but I wasn't able to damage him somehow

Only thing id have done different was buy perplexity instead of void for the armor pen and ms plus giant slayer since you have marksmage. Other than that this combo is op regardless of items. even low ap items will still make you demolish people
@@KingNidhogg Yeah it increases almost all your stats. If you mean giant slayer becomes less effective. Fine. That's not the main reason for perplexity. That's just a bonus. Its the dual pen since you have marksmage giving you high physical damage. Only argument i see against it is it's overkill.
@@00J-Tone void is still better than perplex in this case, because all her damage is AP, regardless of marksmage. if you look at the final clip, leona had close to 700 MR + cloak, even then most of his damage was AP. Furthermore, her passive scales with ap, as well as the ap being amped with demon king/wooglets. perplexity would have not been bad, but most of the damage is coming from her ap damage.
@@zxh I think against Leona it would have been the most optimal to build perplexity. Since she has so much mr and health but not a lot of armor it would've worked best against her. If they were better players Leona could've tanked Renata long enough to chain cc and sett kill. I wouldn't bet in a tournament with money on the line vs players on his skill level he would go void over perplexity. Perplexity is an item they wouldn't release in rift cuz its so good. Too many stats.
This combo is pretty lame. No skill involved in it. Finding what is essentially a bug is interesting to a degree but having a combo like this in arena does not make it more fun to play. Riot needs to fix this interaction in arena. I mean seriously it's literally a right click attack that abuses a mechanic which has been overlooked.

Wait people say this is bad???? I've gotten in top 4, 6 out of 7 times. 4 out of those 6 times, I placed 2nd. That's absolutely insane considering my friend doesn't like to play shit like lulu or ivern, so I have to make do with stuff like Mordekaiser or Anivia.

do find lulu better because of things like orbital lulu lets you move around more but ivern seams just as painful both having ups and downs too there way of enchant buffing her what i have seen hard counters this is things like vi ult 1 shot or ult perma cc from her makes this very painful cant really dodge a vi ult and cc locks you till you have died 2 times me and my other person we have most problems vs hard cc teams that can do it from far away or yi mystic punch be we perma ban yi so funny we at high gladiator rank and like its not once bin ban for us at all don't know why its still op 90% of games are top 2 for us and lulu just goes full tank with AH so it dosent mater if she gits shot much

Soooo, I have 2 new builds which well, are suboptimal in my hands but seem cool as a concept. First: Healing Urgot You go hellfire hatchet, sword of the blossoming dawn, moonstone renewer, spirit visage, so you heal yourself from hellfire hatchet and 25% of that on your ally, and heal your ally per aa from sword of the blossoming dawn and 25% of that on yourself, then amplify it all by spirit visage, the rest is optional. Second: Taric with crit The most important part of this strategy is going rite of ruin and how flexible taric is. You can get heals crit, you can get force of entropy, you can get the dmg reduction which procs with crit chance(forgot its name), also get cdr whereever you can, moonflair spellblade is best in slot prismatic, but any tanky or support prismatic works.
Me and my friend played this today (we were lulu renata connoisseur even before huge buffs) and it felt really weak compared to lulu. Like you said, it felt like it doesnt always proc and playing around the brushes aint too fun, we rather like renata lulu goog vid
8:20 FYI the %stat/AP increases from Wooglet's/Dragon Heart/Crown/Juices/Demonic all stack additively with each other, so stacking them has diminishing returns
I'm curious on how this could be nerfed. I think just making it so the Renata can not proc it on the same auto attack as she places it. If she needs two attacks for every proc, I think it actually would be fine.

another great combo with this is amumu. Every tick of his W will proc Renata's passive. I think it's a pretty fun combo together.

I think that Chaeffuer is an ideal augment for this, if the lulu/ivern gets wordless then it’s also strong.

do find lulu better because of things like orbital lulu lets you move around more but ivern seams just as painful both having ups and downs too there way of enchant buffing her what i have seen hard counters this is things like vi ult 1 shot or ult perma cc from her makes this very painful cant really dodge a vi ult and cc locks you till you have died 2 times me and my other person we have most problems vs hard cc teams that can do it from far away or yi mystic punch be we perma ban yi so
funny we at high gladiator rank and like its not once bin ban for us at all don't know why its still op 90% of games are top 2 for us and lulu just goes full tank with AH so it dosent mater if she gits shot much

@@jacoblozada4833 no i mean the 4k anvil you buy, not one the game give you, nor the 2k item anvil. If you see the shop the number of prismatic listed is different depend on the type of shops, eg in this video he bought prismatic mage and none of tank prismatic shows up

People do so awfully on it because their Lulu doesn't know how to shield the Renata and not themselves, or the Renata doesn't know how to play with range effectively. @@centor111 i played it yesterday solo with a singed not knowing what i was doing. we lost EVERY ROUND and then on elim round i scaled enough that we won every time and we were stuck on elim hp whole round and WON. about 2-3 losses in he wanted to ff (did not type at all only /ff) ofc i NEVER SURRENDER and we went ham.

King tried with Ivern because the Renata x Lulu got figured out, he's doing these video to spread awareness so that people know how to win vs these. When he played with Lulu, NO ONE was trying to kill her even tho she mispositionned a lot. Here Ivern is harder to kill, but it requires Renata to stay in bushes so it's a clear weakness. Renata bot carry has been a thing amongst Renata mains, and I can tell you, once your ennemy knows you need someone to trigger the passive, it's OVER.

Soooo, I have 2 new builds which well, are suboptimal in my hands but seem cool as a concept.
First: Healing Urgot
You go hellfire hatchet, sword of the blossoming dawn, moonstone renewer, spirit visage, so you heal yourself from hellfire hatchet and 25% of that on your ally, and heal your ally per aa from sword of the blossoming dawn and 25% of that on yourself, then amplify it all by spirit visage, the rest is optional.
Second: Taric with crit
The most important part of this strategy is going rite of ruin and how flexible taric is. You can get heals crit, you can get force of entropy, you can get the dmg reduction which procs with crit chance(forgot its name), also get cdr whereever you can, moonflair spellblade is best in slot prismatic, but any tanky or support prismatic works.

Me and my friend played this today (we were lulu renata connoisseur even before huge buffs) and it felt really weak compared to lulu. Like you said, it felt like it doesnt always proc and playing around the brushes aint too fun, we rather like renata lulu

8:20 FYI the %stat/AP increases from Wooglet's/Dragon Heart/Crown/Juices/Demonic all stack additively with each other, so stacking them has diminishing returns
I'm curious on how this could be nerfed. I think just making it so the Renata can not proc it on the same auto attack as she places it. If she needs two attacks for every proc, I think it actually would be fine.
