- D-Dimer test is used for the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism in lungs. D-Dimer test is also very useful in diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation, renal failure, liver failure and in Dengue.

Dear 12.9 to kam hai. Kuch time baad test ko repeat karay. Aur achi lab se karay. Waisay iesmein levothyroxine ya thyroxin de jati hai. Doctor ki mashwaray ki baghair bilkul use na karay. Yeh bohut toxic medicine hai. Apnay Endocrinologist se mashwara karay.

Dear semi automated analyzer me standards lagtay hai aur sgpt, sgot, alp me standard nahi hotay to usko check karnay k lie normal banday ka serum sample run karnay se pata chal jata hai ki machine theek result dai rahi hai ya ghalat. Routine chemistry me controls ki zarorat nahi hoti. Leken bhari machino me vitamines levels, hormones levels, viral tests, tumor markers inky lie controls lagai jatay hai. Sir mujhe covid positive hue two months ho chuke hain jisme mera ecg normal and hrct 3/25 aaya. Sir jankari nhi hone ke karan na to crp test or na hi d dimer karwaya. Ab mujhe isse koi risk to nhi hoga.
Koi risk nahi hoga bilkul normal ho, apnein mast zindage guzaray, achay kaam karay aur logo ki duailain, covid guzar gaya yeh shukur hai bus wapas nahi ayega kabi be.

Hi, my father in law was admitted in hospital with COVID 19 5 days ago he on oxygen he is 70 years old and diabetic, 2 days ago they did a D dimer test and result was 10000 which today has dropped to 8000 he is very distressed plz advise as he is in India and we are in UK..would really appreciate your advice
Dear p8nks May Allah give health to your father. But you have to be patient. It is better if the patient stays in the ICU. High D-Dimer in covid 19 is always associated with critical conditions. We can pray and the doctors will do their best۔
