Super glad this show both got a second season that lived up to the first, and is getting the attention the show deserves, it's a real gem!
I think the second season is way better than the first. I enjoyed the first season but some of the fight scenes in the later episodes got a bit ridiculous.

21:36 Reacher already noticed from the start, they weren't sent to temporary holding cells as they should be, but were put together with the "for life" inmates...
Why? Because someone did this on purpose so Reacher and his cell mate don't survive or at least get jumped.
The prison guard was surprised to see them in this section of the prison after he found them, because they weren't meant to be there...
That means ... someone, probably another guard, in that prison redirected them to where they can be harmed.
And after his cellmate told Reacher why he gave a false confession, it's clear, he was the target of that "mistake"
This show did a great job bringing the character from the novels to life. There are SO MANY GREAT Reacher novels, they have enough material for plenty of seasons.

It was published 6 years ago, and it's hilarious. A girl and her friends flipping out because they can't do any online snooping into a guy's social media presence. He doesn't even have a smartphone, just an old Nokia circa 2005.

truly a jem of a show, i binged the first season in a nightcand have rewatched a few times.
one thing everyone needs to know. when dealing with cops even if you are in the right they are not looking to do anything except book you for a win on a record notch on a belt if that makes more sense. they will only let you go if higher tells them and don't like doing it despite being wrong best thing anyone can do is literally hand them what they ask for and say absolutely nothing.
