Front compartments are also available on the old Milans without hatch in the front - I have them on my SL. Holds a lot of stuff, but easier to get to in yours. I still like them for spare parts and tools, though. Can we have a listen to your exciters?
There are also fiberglass inserts in the knee bumps that help with the gps signal so you don’t really need the clear window. Curious if it helps with light in the cockpit though. Hard to see the gps with the race hood. Good summary. Nice to see how others are set up. You should also do a video review of speed on your full sized quest vs the Bülk.
Thanks for the video review. Just picked my white and metallic red BÜLK at the Portland International Airport PDX last Friday. Wow! What an impressive machine! Just finished up soldering a C3 RC car 14.8v battery and have been thinking about how to mount the cone mirrors. I watched Jan’s vido for ideas and he installed his on the open hood (as you did on your hood) instead of on the velo itself. This way you don’t have to worry about hitting the when your getting in or out. I’m going to buy an extra set and leave them on each.
Same here. I tried on the body, but couldn't find a place that gave me the visibility I needed, and mirrors are the most important safety device on the bike.
@@davidhonig2375 I’d like to purchase another set of cone mirrors that originally came with it but haven’t asked Jan yet if they’re only available at the factory. Any recommendations?
@@steveanderson1947 I'd buy them from Jan. I already ordered the combo hood after my bike arrived, and they're shipping it. I think, to save costs, they're going to ship in somebody else's big box, with instructions for them to ship to me, at my expense. I expect I'll use one hood for most of the year, and just change once a year as seasons change, so I might just move them.
@@davidhonig2375I’m planning to ride most of the year with the open hood as well. And as you mention, Jan is probably the only way to get an extra set of cone mirrors. I appreciate your insight.
Do they always let you install mirrors yourself? So far I'm looking at options for the bülk as might buy one in future but unsure what option for bigger foot bumps for unless see what they think, also the options for side windows unsure on, last thing is if tank steering or the normal give more sort of luggage space, apart from those things I'm certain on what I want
Believe it or not, you are the first person to tell about the "hole in lid" option.
Beautiful velo! Thanks for sharing👍
I have a varia as well, they are amazing. I'll move to a velo one day :P :D

How long will that battery provide power to the lights, etc.?

I will, once I feel fully dialed in with the Bülk.
no, really doesn't help
