@@Keaton42 exactly. When I use to work in schools I put expectations on the kids and guided them to have skills. If they mess up, we do it again. Even when I worked retail jobs like cashier, I'd engage with the kid too to carry stuff for their parents or hang their clothes on the rack for me to count before heading into the fitting room. Some parents are cool with it and are proud of their kids while others get bothered. Had one mom see her kid Makena mistake and instead of showing them what to do, she snatched the stuff and did it herself. Kids looked so insecure and petrified after that.
I've seen other heartwarming, positive videos before, but something about this one--it seemed like everyone involved was a kind person. That's so important. 🙂
He doesn't have to be a doctor to count because he can be anything he wants as long as he's a productive member of society. Let's not put people in a small box!

In a world where people lack a sense of urgency, this kid is teaching everyone by example that you are the one that must help another one in trouble. He saw an emergency developing. He took control of the situation and took action. He made those decisions in the perfect order and NOTHING distracted him from his target, which was to make sure this kid had help IMMEDIATELY!! He is a Leader and because of that I beg his parents to continue to guide him throughout his life so that he can go beyond anyone's dreams, including his own. He has what it takes to recognize, to act, to solve problems, to lead and to follow up!!!! Awesome indeed!!❤❤

He's so lucky. Think of the people who step up to save someone and fail. Success is its own reward. The true heroes are the ones who prepare and never get the chance, who get chances and don't succeed, and who succeed often, but aren't recognized, and yes, who get the chance and are rewarded with success! The non-heroes do nothing, but they can vow to do better next time.
I think we need to stop giving one hundred percent credit to the parents and give some credit to the children. Kids can be "raised well" and not turn out very great and vice versa. Props to the kid!!

Very grateful for Children doing this like Trey, having compassion. He goes beyond what so many do these days young to old, just sitting there, or standing there looking in no attemot to do a thing for anyone but themselves. Such an unselfish action. My son saved the live of a 5 year old boy that was choking with a candy ! He did the Hamlisch Manuver to him so they boy throw the candy out of the air ways ! He was 10 years old ! We were so proud he saved this boys life ! The adults were not there at that moment ,
This beautiful child was truly remarkable & didn’t flinch. All students should be taught life saving awareness & procedures. If he didn’t make the v.p. Aware of this it could of been a whole other very sad story. God bless you Trey, maybe someday you’ll be a doctor or rescue field. We need good cool as a cucumber people like you. Kids can be MUCH more capable than we usually give them credit for. This kid was raised right.

Schools do NOT allow them! As swipes took my nephews inhaler and told him if he needed it to go to the office..... Guess how well that worked!
