Chorus:
Still crazy after all these years
Oh, still crazy after all these years
#SimonAndGarfunkel #StillCrazyAfterAllTheseYears #TheConcertInCentralPark
Art sitting back on the side and still singing...
Paul can hold a decent note. But his magic is his storytelling and poetry. He set them to music and gave it to us in a beautiful way.
Art singing in the back, it is great to know that he followed the music of his old friend through the years!!!
hahahah everyone knew that song.
I like it when bands and duos sing songs from their solo albums.
I Wonder If Art Bought Paul Solo album In the 70s
Thats what are for. Whatever their grudges their friendship is still strong. They may not be speaking in public, we might not know they communicate secretly... FRIENDSHIP IS FRIENDSHIP!!!
It is really raw/cool to see him just chilling on stage. Bring back the live music!!!
1:00 that little face he pulls. Oh, man. It used to kill me 🥰😏
The way it modulates up a whole step in the middle of the final verse is such a brilliant piece of arranging. Damn. Hat permanently off to the Simon.
Never see that nowadays in pop music
Oohh.. Paul Simons eyes..and smile..whew..
I was in central park during this concert, even have the tee-shirt, but never knew how much I would miss good old fashioned music after that. God bless you Paul Simon.
How much did it raise for the Park improvements?
Incredible Dave Tofani's sax solo, Steve Godd's awsome drums and Rechard Tee's impressive sound of Fender Rhodes. All these performances still make us crazy after the collapse of NYC bubble. Ooh that's a myth!
Richard Tee has such an unmistakable sound
Still the best after all these years. Love Paul Simon.
Love Paul simon. Have most all their songs downloaded.
This is my fav Paul Simon song in his solo career😊
They need to make a movie about Paul and Art and end it with the Centeral Park Concert.
Still crazy about this song after all these years.
So hard to compare song writers but in the rock group Paul Simon is one of the best, I'm more of a hard rock/grunge follower but my young ears heard S & G and fell in love as a baby.
Happy 80th Birthday to Paul Simon.. (October 13, 1941)
I saw Paul Simon a year ago at a sold out show in Jersey. I danced the whole night ❤️ it was magical
You know I'm still crazy for you after all these years.
Everytime the sax solo does comes to the end,
Paul always salutes with great respect and gratitude!,
What a musician and great person he is!
Thank you for this marvelous tune Mr Simon,we love it.
All the best
From Canada ,,Mario
I think all real musicians appreciate the talents of others. No one musician has everything, can sing everything, can play every instrument. It's a great thing when they acknowledge the talents of others rather than feeling threatened by them 🙂
Richard Tee on keyboards❤ . R.I.P.
Love to see Paul jamming with their backing band (and WHAT a band!) It seems sad to see Artie outside the magic. His gift is all in his voice (andWHAT a voice!) which makes him look isolated and outside the magic... until he opens his mouth to sing! 😍😍😍❣️
Don't need no rhythm guitar - just the remarkable Richard Tee and Mr Steve Gadd. Best backline you could get.
For all their reported differences, they always seem to cast everything else aside when tasked with a great endeavor!!
I'm 57 years old. This is my theme song.
Happy 60th
Happy 61st! Time flys!
Nothing like a sax to bring you right back to NY
Richard Tees interpretation is amazing.
4 in the morning...tapped out...yawning...Great sax solo by Dave Tofani. He also plays the killing solo on the title track of Steely Dan's 200 release 'Two Against Nature'.
greatest concert of all time !
Fiorella..non l'ho sentito..mi dispiace.ciao..
RICHARD TEE...and that particular, middling setting of the Vibrato knob on that Fender Rhodes...Tee & Gadd were such large components of this group’s sound....and yet also consider/appreciate how many of the horns were also cats who’d played Touissaint’s arr. for The Band at that Academy of Music show a decade prior?
Richard and Steve all the way. I love the dynamics and the space.
Richard used a Smallstone phase shifter.
Classic Tee Phased Rhodes❤❤❤Small Stone Sweetness
Such a brilliant song writer and performer, love the way he constructs a story
Just saw Paul perform in Bend, Oregon at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, (06/24/17). He gave us an unforgettable performance all evening! A living legend and still rockin' it at 75!!! 🎶🎸🎶 LOVE this song so much!!!
Still crazy that this incredible song and video currently has less than 14,000 views.
Almost quadruple that now.
There are two versions of this concert on You Tube and other renditions of it splitting viewership. Approaching a quarter million in 2018.
still to many people who don't appreciate great music.
I met my old lover on the street last night,
She seemed so glad to see me, I just smiled,
And we talked about some old times,
And we drank ourselves some beer,
Still Crazy After All These Years.
Still Crazy After All These Years.
I'm not the kind of man who tends to socialize,
I seem to lean on old familiar ways,
And I ain't no fool for love songs,
That whisper in my ears.
Still Crazy After All These Years,
Oh, Still Crazy After All These Years.
Four in the morning,
Crapped out,
Yawning,
Longing my life away.
I'll never worry,
Why should I ?
It's all gonna fade.
Now I sit by my window and I watch the cars, on by,
I fear I'll do some damage one fine day,
But I would not be convicted by a jury of my peers.
Still Crazy After All These Years,
Oh, Still Crazy,
Still Crazy,
Still Crazy After All These Years.
Sorry to be that guy but I think it’s tapped out, not crapped out
Thanks for the lyrics though!
@@spyrosgkoumas5339 He sang tapped out , but the first version was crapped out
This version is even better than the original and the keys rocks. It is a shame the camera doesn't display it.
what a great day.
I love Simon & Garfunkel since my 05 years old. I´m 39 nowdays. Simon I love your voice and smile. Hello from Vania - Brazil.
Gosh, how I would love to see and hear today such singers, melodies and lyrics on MTV!
I miss her so much. She whould love it if I sang this to her. I'll love you forever.
that man was touched
Thank you Larry
To look this video - just the begin...I love this song!
Look at the clip from the Cavett show, where he really is looking what to do with this song. Beautiful.
Good job Paul!
Great to listen to genius 👌 love ❤️ oh my Life
They could have done something different where Paul sang one of Art's top songs such as Bright Eyes, and Art could sing this one haha
Utterly magical ❤️
I still come back to this concert
Love this performance so much!
A masterpiece!!!
The Rhodes piano is awesome
Quite stunningly brilliant and a whole new arrangement from the immaculate one on record. The guy is a G
Simply perfect musicianship.
I'm still crazy lo after all these years 😘😘😘
The way the drums step in, very classy
Amazing songs... omfg...
You have an amazing band
Beauitfulxxx
So much of nostalgia. You guys were my heroes in my youth and even now when my sun is on a westerly course. I jumped ship to listen to you when we were moored in Baltimore!
j'adore ce titre .
I love these songs
Everytime I listen to this song I imange people sitting at a bar on a weekend night just chilling and listening to this song on the Jukebox.
Vivo reprisando este vídeo. Amo essa dupla, as suas músicas.
who's the best voice between those two guys??? I never can choose...
Paul is a great song writer and storytelller and good singer...but Art's voice is simply on a different level, but Paul's songs brought out Atrs best
@@TheDjcarter1966 yes you're right.. of course!! Art's voice is on another level! I was waving between both just because Paul's voice is also very pure and beautiful.. but not the same level it's true..
The general consensus is that Art is the one with the soaring voice but in this song Paul Simon's vocals are awesome.
Paul received a solo Grammy for best vocal male performance for this song.
SUPERA
They need each other
Because mental illness can be treated but cannot be cured, I'm still crazy after all these years.
Hindsight is always 20/20 but after this performance the two of them went into a studio to record their comeback record and had a falling out. Paul deleted Art's vocals and released the album as "Hearts and bones"
After the release of that album Simon did a press tour and during a televised interview was asked if the album would have sold better if he had kept Art's vocals.
He instantly broke into a sweat and had to fight keeping a straight face, he was so pissed off about having been asked that. Sure Simon and Garfunkel had a couple of reunion shows but they never could work together in the studio again.
the lip bite in 1:01 tho
Extremely hot
That's David Brown on electric guitar, played with Billy Joel and on many earlier album, Stranger, Glass Houses, ... not 52 st that was (Mr) Khan.
He had a wee look in his eye like that song was about a personal experience
I got...Georgia, on my mind.
Wen music was still music
I'm not gay, but man Paul looks goooood lol
😃 You know, it was only watching this concert that I realised how cute he was!
At least Paul isn't wearing a turkey costume like he did that episode of Saturday Night Live....
They just aired a Thanksgiving compilation 2018 repeating that. Better than I had remembered. Poetry in motion! Was it SNL's 2nd season and Paul Simon's 2nd time on SNL also?
Live in central park
New york😊
🙂
🤪🤪😜 😉 yeppers!
you cut out the part where he introduces the sax player??
Richard Tee on the Rhodes.
Poor art on the stoop wants to sing along!
And there's a line to live by. 'If you would not be convicted by a jury of your peers' there's no shame in being 'crazy after all these ýears.
Where's the turkey costume? :)

Happy Birthday Steve Bannon
Está bien sexy, alv
My parents used to play this all the time, and the nostalgia affected me, I was a sensitive little boy.
If I analyse it now, ignoring the music for a moment, the lyrics aren't sentimental at all and actually quite disturbing. It's something you might find in the diary of a sociopath!
Sons of anarchy SOS 🆘 💀
I wonder if this song is about Carrie Fisher. I heard he was really very broken hearted and in a deep depression when Princess Leia I mean Carrie Fisher Divorced him. With her being Bi-Polar, her drug and Alcohol problems and her being not only open, but basically exploiting her own Recovery- I think Carrie fisher might be considered Crazy.
This was written in 75 and they didn’t know eachother yet
@@violetluna3462 _ Thank You for the Info. I guess it couldn't have been about Edie Brickell either unless Paul was psychic and could have predicted his future relationship with her.
Anyone here because of Curb your Enthusiasm?
he did not mention who took the sax solo
I think he does but it got cut off
I don't know if he mentioned it after this song specifically, but based on the band intros from the end of the concert (prior to the reprise of Late In The Evening), it looks like it was Dave Tofani.
Yep, it was cut off. He says that it is Dave Tofani :)
ジョウジルイスp
Love this but does anyone else think the keyboard player is a little too busy?
Dang, that sax. Also, what is Art doing in the back? Dude, looks bored. Pull it together, bro.
Looks like he's giving you the finger ... dude
He's singing along to the song and seems to be enjoying it... More than Simon did while Art Sang bridge over troubled water
Maybe he's resting. What do you do when your band mates do a solo... Oh wait....
Dave Tofani. He also plays the solo on Steely Dan's 'Two Against Nature'.
Ti fidi perché è paul Simon. Ma questa non è una grande canzone-secondo me.
1:00 Paul is really a bada$$. But this is Springsteen territory. That is just terrible
What an embarrassing girlie voice he has!
High voice doesn’t mean girlie, it means he’s a tenor.
He’s also one of the most legendary and respected songwriters of the last century so I’d say it worked out for him.
Love his voice and everything about him ….. soo sexy ❤️
