Hi Luke, thanks for filming my home city Jogja, the center of javanese culture with strong mixture of hindu, buddha, and Islam. Near the biggest buddhist temple Borobudur, hindu temple Prambanan. It also has beautiful scenaries of mountains and beaches. But above all is its unique and beautiful culture and traditions.
Hi luke.. I’m from Indonesia especially Papua 🙂 first I watching your video because you visit in Pakistan and after that I enjoyed you all videos. Thank you for visit my country, Jogja is beautiful place you must go to Borobudur temple, Hutan Pinus, Gumuk Pasir and many more 😁 oh ya if you have more time please come to Raja Ampat in Papua, it’s the most beautiful island in the world. enjoy your time in Jogja and take care ☺️
Selamat datang di Yogya, Luke...Enjoy your weekend there..Thanks a lot for visiting Yogya..and then.. ..please don't forget going to Borobudur temple & Prambanan Temple .. Terima kasih, Gentleman! Take care..
It's actually how Dutch write Yogyakarta in the Dutch way, that's how it becomes Jogjakarta, in the past people knew that the Dutch way to read it was still Yogyakarta, but the newest generation in Indonesia call it Jogjakarta with J. In traditional Javanese language it's written still as Yogyakarta or Ngayogyakarta. That's why their Airport called YIA, Yogyakarta International Airport.
Great video Luke! I started watching you when you used to have 200k. I cant believe you now have over 1 MILLION Subs! Congrats amigo... It would be great to see you going to a different part of the world. Kurt Kaz and Bald and Bankrupt are killing it in South America. I can't wait for you to go and visit some Spanish countries! You 've got 21 Spanish countries ready for you to discover! You'd get millions of new subscribers from that region of the world! Go first to Chile and Argentina. Chile is one of the safest countries in Latin America and you ll find that many people speak English. Saludos amigo😃

That luwak coffee man is a good businessman and also an honest one . He didn't wanted to take that extra cash freely(wanted to offer Luke something) ,but then Luke insisted that it was a tip. Keep up the good work!!
And finally uploaded to youtube, some of it I've seen from facebook every day luke. i really enjoyed your video. I hope you can go to East Java. Warm greetings from East Java.
Can any Indonesian explain to me the meaning of Yogyakarta. Yogya in hindi is "fair" and karta is "someone who does something". I think it might have the same meaning in Indonesian language considering the past of indonesia. It was a hindu majority country at a time.
Hi Luke! thanks for exploring the nice part of Jogjakarta in Indonesia, we have still a lot of good food and great culture on Jogja. You have to come again in the future because we have a beauitful beach on Gunung Kidul and cold weather on Merapi mountain.
This video is interesting. You are taking the offers from locals and trying their services without worrying about being trapped or scammed. That's good. It's a genuine show of respect to locals.
Hi, Luke! I'am originaly from Yogyakarta, i will suggest you to go to some famous place and culinary. 1. Kopi Klotok / Kopi Bukan Luwak, they have special menu " Mangut Lele and Sayur Lodeh " 2. Sate Kere Godean ( sate from beef and rice cake ) 3. Ayam geprek if you interested with spicy fried chicken 4. Lumpia Trubus ( from rebung ) 5. Bakso Pak Granat ( meatball ) 6. Fried Rice Notaris ( nasi goreng Notaris ) And many more. 7. Any package for explore some beach inn Jogja, did you know if beach in Jogja better than Bali, hahahaha they still virgin. And i will give some advice for you, don't be affraid to bargain some things at here.

I need daily videos my friend or even release a small series of things you haven’t uploaded before!!
Hey Luke! I am glad that you enjoy your time here in Indonesia so far, hopefully we can come across each other when you come to Surabaya. Have a great day! Imanuel
Oh I almost forgot, talking about that "cilok" you ate, that chewy texture came from a mixture of tapioca flour which is cassava starch flour and wheat flour that has been cooked together with no meat ingredients at all. I personally prefer Indonesian meatball ("bakso") as my favorite, you should try one of them if you haven't.
Brother luke....if you in Indonesia dont forget to try hiking, to some volcano or mountain maybe mount merbabu near Yogyakarta, cause we Indonesia have so many beautiful spot for hiking, for sure its will be unforgettable for you brother.
just for ur info luke, when its friday we as a muslim will pray at mosque start from 12pm-1pm. usually when its friday its super hot when afternoon,u can go travel whn its evening time like 3pm the sun not straight above ur head.
To luke so far i only saw ur shorts on street food journey. Theres something special about street food in Indonesia, when its "ramadhan" a month when moslem do fasting, they selling much much more special foods, mostly sweet desert dish. And for sure you should try visit another cities, food vary and had different taste and style. Enjoy your trip man ✌️
My favorite traveling UA-camr, good people are always shopping for something and they never want it back. go to my area in Lombok or Bali, Indonesia. I will be happy to serve you 🇮🇩
Even some foreign vlogger here a bit confused looking women with or without hijab smoking 😅 It is bad culture for your health, not recommend it, but yeah, people (me too) just chill about our bad habbit (smoking culture)
Reselling is not a scam. If a tourist is stupid enough to pay for something which the seller bought cheaper, that’s on the tourist not the seller. If it’s a scam then literally everything sold everywhere is a scam as most things in life are not bought directly from the source, hence resell 🙈
@@JohnSmith-uf3yn you’re looking too much into it. he does have a job and it’s very costly in money, time, effort, creativity, and so on to be a Traveling UA-camr. he is actually quite open to anything in other cultures and that is the reason he travels and makes so many good memories along the way. It is natural to be apprehensive to salesmen trying to resell anything and people in the US and Australia or any first world country they would rather not go to someone in the street reselling something for a higher price so why should he for this guy? you are the prejudice one just because he is white does not mean he has to help you. most people don’t want to travel to many of these countries already because what they see and hear in the media whether it’s false or not. ideologies such as yours are another factor why someone would not visit/come back to your country.
Awesome country awesome people and they seem so chill and relaxed unlike the western countries where they over regulate everything , smash us with exorbitant costs of living and the food is poison but this place is so blessed...Im going there cheers luke
You still have higher purchasing power in western countries. Everything is cheaper in Indonesia but they make so little that you are definitely richer and have a higher quality of life.
Finally you upload vlog again, I'am always waiting your video, Luke don't forget go to Borobudur & Prambanan (Tample), & more Explore Malioboro street at night it's more a life and try the food too.. enjoy your trip in Jogja, stay safe Luke..👍

Its nice that Mr. Nugroho mentioned Raminten house (Hamzah Batik). It's a Drag Queen show. It's very rare to see it in Indonesia hahaha. I've watched it twice and the Queens there are so nice. I know some of them!
I was wondering if anyone else caught on to that, because nobody else mentioned it besides you. I love that he mentioned an LGBTQ establishment, to give Luke that option, if that happened to be something he would have been interested in.
You can feel home as local in Yogya . Not feel tourist as you can see like in bali. Foreigner in Yogya also more polite and civilized calm as local also educated. Raminten Pak ! 😂
Hey Luke, I have cancer and I am disabled. Thank you for allowing me to explore different places through your videos.
