Oh my gosh, you all were obviously having SUCH a wonderful time!! There's nothing better than this.
Wow fabulous post office and train stations. No wonder you love Philidelphia so much.

I knew you would take them to see the organ, and they actually got to hear it! Must not have been Sunday. 😄 Looks like you were all having a great time. Looking forward to parts two and three!
Barb come back and hear the organ! So sorry you were here on the ONLY day of the week that it's not played. When are you going to start your own channel???
@@oldcuriosityshop265 Your guess is as good as mine. 😂 I just don’t feel like I have the time to devote to it yet.
Beautiful railway station.Great to see you all having fun.😀😀😀😀
Great seeing you all together! Thanks Scott
So fun! 👏🏻 Oh my gosh, the sights and sounds of that organ, plus the glorious St Michael statue in that amazing art deco station...it was almost too much for me to handle! 😂 Loved it all! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
This was fun to watch. Looks like a good time for all!
Its so much fun watching you all together. Thank you for sharing this experience with us😊
What lovely People!
...and a good time was had by ALL !
Certainly looks like ya'll had a swell time!
The rr station and decor and monument was breathtaking. Wow!
I used to meet my grandmother “at the eagle” so so many years ago. Lovely to see it’s still there.
That was really cool Scott, we haven't had a passenger train run through here since I was a little girl. Our train station is called Union Station. It was burned down during the Civil War by the Union troops. It was rebuilt in 1902 and after the passenger train stopped running they refurbished it and it housed restaurants and venues for weddings and such. It is the centerpiece of our town now. It was fun watching you guys interact. Looks like you had a bunch of fun.
Great video!!! Loved seeing you guys having fun!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful time
I go to 2nd Avenue Thrift store in Franklin Mills. Great prices. Judy, Philly girl.
I’m so glad you and your friends had a nice time visiting with you. Your train station is amazing, as is the war memorial
statue. I have never seen such a large pipe organ. You have so many wonderful places to visit in your city. Enjoyed this
video🤗
Great video ilovet thanks for sharing.
Wonderful video!
Loved the sightseeing you do & your love of the city. Really liked the organ & the statue in the train station
I have had the pleasure of being picked up at the 30th street train station. Unfortunately I never had the chance to see that beautiful statue. It always a hustle and bustle to look for my daughter who was pound up. I did ride the Amtrak from Boston to Philadelphia. Everyone there seemed like great people. I would love to do something like that. Thanks for sharing your video.I'm looking forward to the other ones. Also it's nice to see the outside finished because it was under construction every time I was there.🤗❤💚💙💜
Vinny's uranium glass haul was the highlight of this video! To see a bunch of fellow vintage glass collectors come together like this and enjoying each other's camaraderie -- it was an awesome thing! Looking forward to parts 2 and 3! And let me conclude by saying scrapple is delicious!
What a fun time you guys had!! Enjoyed seeing you all together and finding such great treasures!
How fun! So glad you were all able to get together!!
What beautiful buildings you showed us, thank you. It’s so obvious how much you love Philly! What great fun you all had, and I don’t blame you for keeping the green jar, but I have jar envy!😆🇨🇦
Hope everyone enjoys the visit.
Good evening Scott 💓 glad you found a remembrance of your time together.
What a fun video you shared with us today! Great group of friends sharing their love of “Thrifting” together. Can’t wait for parts 2&3! 😁
Yay! Thank you!
Really nice of Scott to introduce us to his friends...He's an awesome host! (St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle...)
Such a lovely video and friends. 💕
Looks like a blast Scott!! So happy you guys were all able to get together & have some fun!!
What a happy, fun little group. So nice you could all get together. Nice drive around the city too. Do it again please. 👍💕
We will!
We cannot stop laughing! So many inside jokes for years to come!
Come back soon!
Oh man, I am still laughing.
The Delaware girl in me enjoyed seeing your tribute to the beautiful 30th Street Station and scrapple!! What a fun group. I'm not used to seeing Dee out of her kitchen!!
You and me both!
Scott, what fun! Wish I'd been there! I love all the sites you showed. The train station was awesome! Can't wait to see the other videos!,❤️
Thank you Jacki. I stay so busy I hardly have time to watch UA-cam but I know you do live sales and have a following of your own! I'll try to catch you live!
I can't believe the condition of the marble in Wanamaker's or Macy's. 30th Street Station looked great! So glad to see you all together!
Hi Dee! Great to see you having so much fun! MEOW
So much fun!!!! Thanks for sharing😊 i miss my friends😪
I grew up with scrapple
Thanks for showing the WWI statute at 30th St,. Station. I was aware of it but just trot by it without paying it attention anymore.
I have that same size green uranium canister, my foil label says sugar. Fun video!!
Oh Scott, come on! Scrabble = delicious! It's just meat with polenta. But i've never seen it thick cut like that. Its's best dusted with flour, sliced thin and cooked in butter so it get's nice and crispy on the edges and cooked in the middle. Yum. Yum!
@ Kitty Carlisle I agree with the scrapple. You describe how to fry it just right delicious. I am originally from Baltimore and grew up eating it.
@@dewdrop3302 i'm from Baltimore county!
@ Kitty Carlisle Small world I grew up in Balto. County, between Pikesville and Lochern.
The diner called this cut “scrapple fries”
@@daveinthemedctr6640 new to me. Try it my way - it's much better.
So cool that you mentor others. Checked everybody’s channels
So much fun! It's great to have old friends♥ one of these days I would love to go to the East Coast, so many historical places, and the thrift stores are awesome! Have fun everyone, and Scott, you're a little cutie pie~haha~hehe📸
It’s tough to make everyone happy over the mask issue. I’m glad you had a nice time. The isolation for single folks has been especially challenging over the past couple of years. So, cheers and happy hunting!
How exciting your shopping spree was. Such beautiful buildings and good friends sharing. 😊☕🍵
Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati area have another German version of scrapple called ‘Goetta’ (get-uh). It is oats, sausage, and spices. They hold a yearly festival to celebrate this delicacy. Of course, if it’s edible or drinkable, we’ll celebrate it here in Kentucky. That train station is just a massive structure. Always a fun guided tour. Thanks!
Oh how the Germans love pig!!!!!
Great to see you all having fun times!
Fun fun
Okay you people are just having too much fun, good on you!
What a fun time. I caught a glimpse of the Wannamaker eagle. Making me homesick. Must always have scrapple when I visit. Except not at a particular breakfast spot in Lambertville NJ that steams it. Ugh
Meet me at the eagle!
That’s a fav of my south jersey thrifts Places but I always hit the jackpot in Audubon and Red white blue thrift in West Berlin where I live
Glad you guys were able to get together! Good times!! 👍🏻😉
Yes it was!
Oh.my gosh! Looks like you all had a blast! So fun to see, safe travels 💕
I am so glad you showed them eating scrapple. My grandfather served that to me when I was little (in Maryland) and I had been calling it scrabble and no one knew what I was talking about. No wonder. Looks like you all enjoyed your interaction.
David totally picked that out on my menu! I promise I didn't force him!
I had so much fun shopping with you. Dave is a nice guy….if I found that uranium glass, I would have kept it!
He is!
What a good looking bunch of Thrifters! Thanks for bringing us along. Seeing all those lovely sights makes me want to visit Philly. I am shocked by how light the traffic is.
Oh the traffic is light because a HUGE percentage of the workforce is working from home and I was filming on a weekend. If I were filming pre pandemic on a normal work day.....you sure would have seen a difference. I'm loving less traffic these days!
Love the info on the 30th st station. It is so deco impressive. However, not a fan of scrapple. Impressed that Vinnie liked it.
Actually, Vinny didn't take a bite. Dave liked it!
You and friends, very cool to see. Loved the organ music highlight!
Glad you enjoyed it
I know you just said this to make sure that we were really paying attention but you know Widener is not in University City 🤪 awesome to meet new friends and it was wonderful to have you as a tour guide and I can’t wait to check out everybody’s channels happy thrifting gang😊
Scott~ what a mishmash of emotions~tears at the angel lifting the man who was slain by another man; the Awe inspiring architecture; the fun of watching the five of you, at first stilted; then gaining confidence in one another & yourselves; each playing a role until finding your path; then the thrill of the hunt; the beauty of & satisfaction of your green jar find~I would so rather know what you found to cherish than what you will sell to me; & I'm going back to Renshaw's vid from Friday night to see the next stage without having to pay attention to the chat~ hope you saw it~I noted a screen shot but there was 10 or 15 minutes~ & I'm hoping the fangirl ebbs away! LoL
Great video. I didn’t even know they sold scrapple in restaurants. I discovered it when we lived in Maryland. But only at the grocery stores. Admittedly I never tried it…
Patrick next time you must join us!
Scrapple sliced thin & fried crisp is delicious. My father made some homemade once & it was awful!
