Here's to celebrate that the tune book "Dwight Lamb's Danish Tunes - 2nd edition with 5 bonus tunes added" is now out and available with International Shipping, published by our great Copenhagen-based Edition Svitzer!
Our great friend Thomas Coriell in St. Louis, U.S.A. sent us this groovy video of one of Dwight's quadrilles. In the tune book we wrote: "The first part of this tune is close to identical to “Spids Hamborger” (The Sharp Hamburger,) from the Randers area, printed in the tunebook “358 Danske Folkedansemelodier” (358 Danish Folk Dance Tunes.)
We, (Mette and Kristian) have started a video project during these quarantine days and have invited some our our musician friends from around the world to join in and play a Dwight tune for all of us.
