Almost every game is better than NES/SMS were capable of and its best games may be better than SNES/SG were capable of! It certainly could rival the later 2 systems that came after it! That range makes it the goto choice for gaming before SG; the only gripe somebody might have is not being familiar with its system specific games. Still, nowadays, that has it's own appeal in uniqueness and ready to be exploredness! I can definitely imagine this in place of the NES, enjoying it the same way as I did at NES launch in 85, and having the same fuzzy memories with this...IF ITS GAMES WERE CHEAPER THAN THOSE OTHER SYSTEMS(others were $50-$60 when released each), THEN YOU HAD GOLD...
