Seriously, I hate how there's games out there that get 100+ average fps but have all of these stutters ruining the smoothness. I'll take a consistent 60 fps over a stuttery high framerate experience any day.
This honestly definitely takes the spot as one of the best looking games on pc that is out right now. It is also extremely well optimized if I'm honest.

Well locking onto enemies is only available for gamepad, which is kind of weird because I am really used to that feature with the mouse, you can turn it on in settings
My card At Native 1400p very high preset is crazy good 60+ fps for what this card offer Interesting enough I found Quality DLSS just as good as native as long you disable Depth of field and Bloom. Will tell you, because of how DoF works, DLSS will look super soft in compared to off and bloom off makes it so the Upscale doesn't flash bang you more compared to Native, plus it looks better only on Upscale technology due to how low res the bloom effect will be and there is little different between on and off. Overall I get consistent 90+ fps on heavy places while 110+ on open/less demanding areas Pre Build Aurora R16 with i7 14700kf and 4070 Update: Having DLSS + DSR to 60 makes the game just feel amazing. All High Settings and no loss on Fidelity
In my opinion 60fps + ultra setting on 2K are perfect for this game! i'm playing with a RTX4070 windforce and the card does not heat more than 50 degrees

Depends on your refresh rate I guess, since 60 FPS is enough to make input lag that comes with frame gen literally unnoticeable. If you want to feel more FPS than 60, then you can go with DLSS also.

I've been at 1440p res since 2015 no need to tell me how good that looks :P I encourage all my friends to move to that and enjoy the visual improvements
1440p res is a golden mean. It is much sharper and much more detailed than 1080p. Yet it is way less demanding than 4K. What a shame there are no 1440p TVs. I would certainly purchase one of these to pair it with a mini PC in my bedroom.
@@Jakiyyyyy 1440p has like around 1800 pixels more. This makes the image much more detailed, the objects in the far are much more visible and for example in RDR2 distant leaves that are quite blurry on 1080p, are much sharper on 1440p.
Are the prices of these Nvidia cards going down? Last time I compared them to the AMD card the prices were straight up offensive but now I'm seeing prices on newegg and amazon that are much more competitive. They're still high but it's not obscenely expensive like they used to be (ignoring those $1000+ gpus that both Nvidia and AMD have right now) I can see a 4070 on amazon for $529 right now. Newegg has one for $549. Are the prices dropping or am I mistaken?
I guess I can more or less take the 1440P results for my 3080 since the cards are similar in performance. Need to complete a few games I'm working on but def getting this soon. I'm gonna end up getting all of Sony's PC release eventually and I never owned a Sony console outside of the PSP 🤣

This game at max settings doesn't use more than 6-7gb of vram for me, and I've have NO recent games use all 12gb vram of my gpu, then again I do have 32GB of system memory
@@GermanPilyan2 shouldnt even use that much, the ps4 pro doesn't even have 6gb of vram and it ran at checkerboard 1800p, and they didn't improve the textures or graphics for the ps5 or PC release

It's so odd how all these card variations barely look drastically different, I had a 2080 8gb and could easily get this performance, now I have a 3050ti laptop 4gb and I'm basically just missing the extra shiny that games seem to rely on as "improved" graphics. Forbidden West plays amazing on 4gb of vram, and most of these games are basically pretty fluid 30fps to around 60. Everything above that, it barely has an effect aside from mental. A legitimate question, why is DLSS being shown as a feature for high end cards? These bigger cards don't need DLSS at all, period, I barely need it on my current medium low end.

I just don't get it all that much when you can adjust a static resolution for your monitor, or external for my case with a laptop, I can't even see a difference most of the time. Returnal had a thing that adjusted only areas that were out of frame or focus while keeping right around you full resolution, unfortunately the game had cache issues after playing for a short time.. I prefer static as DLSS for me looks good one second then other times for no apparent reason it's shit, I'd rather have a consistent texture experience across the board.

i have a problem with the game i have rtx 3060 ti and ryzen 5 3600 with 16gb of ram i get about 60 to 80 fps depends on the area it some times dips 50 if there is a lot of people on screen i know that ryzen 5 3600 is the bottleneck but the problem after playing for a while like 2 to 3 hours the fps dips into 20 and 30 in any area while the gpu usage is 100% but the power usage is very low like 120 to 100 watt and i think it should be at 200 watt and i am using high texture if restart the game it get fixed is that a vram problem i think the game has a vram leak i think? and the game is on hard drive is that will make a different ?
Im using a 4070 with i5 12400f and my gpu usage is jumping from 75% to 85% Cpu usage is at 40% I turned vsync off and on to see any differents but nothing changed (Playing at 1080p on 180hz) Have any suggestion to fix this?
There is always a better GPU behind the corner. If you bought 3060Ti this year instead of 4070, this would be even more regretful decision. It doesn't make sense to wait that long, you can never predict things. Situation would be different if a new GPU was only a month or two from release, then waiting would be worth. But 2 years? Nah.
3060 laptop and 3060 performance are very similar. The only difference is the VRAM. Depends on your TGP too. 130W and above should be close. Lower watt like 90W for example should get 10 less fps. 🤷🏻♀️

Hey Kryzzp, apparently Pascal GPUs and older have issues here in this game because of async compute, you need to disable it from registry.

Rainbow six is not that heavy honestly, it should be easy to get 60 fps at low settings 1080p, only 💩 tier gpu that struggling on rainbow 6 siege

Try Days Gone. One of the best Sony ports. I can get 110-140 fps on 1440p maxed out.

If you will test gtx 1650, try medium with low textures, very high screen space reflections and fsr performance without frame generation

It's because it was optimised more for Radeon cards. Most NVIDIA cards lose with their Radeon equivalents in benchmarks.
