Bro autumn equinox in Australia begins on late February or early March because that’s when temperature cools and autumn begins

Nice :) I put the playback speed to 2x to bring the sunsets closer together. 2:30 - is beautiful.
All the best with the 'Challenge'

      Thanks Duncan
I would have had more footage if I lived closer to the ocean, it's a 25min trip to this particular location.
Whats more frustrating is on a clear day you can't see the thin band of cloud on the horizon until 10 min before sunset, obscuring the sun.
At 2:15 Feb 19th was good example of this.
I was kicking myself as 3 days earlier Fri 16th was a magnificent sunset, better than any footage I have on this video but had to wait a further 3 days to get anything half decent.
I was considering continuing taking more footage up to the June Solstice, however with the seasonal weather getting worse may prove difficult in trying to obtain useful footage.
Cheers, thanks for watching, and all the best to you in the challenge.

This is awesome. Great job. It would be great to have a northern hemisphere equivalent to compare.

      Thanks mate.
Yes that would be good from the Northern hemisphere.
I wish I had continued through to the June solstice, although the seasonal weather deteriorating may have made it a little more challenging.
      Cheers

Yes, weather is a big problem. I'd love to do something similar but I live in Scotland, the weather is pretty poor and it makes these kind of observations difficult. The occasional day will be OK but it isn't consistent enough, especially at that time of year. Still, I'll try to keep this in mind and see how it plays out in a few months time.
