757 has to have my favorite engine buzz, can't wait to hear it on my first flight back on June 1st!
Nah, the A320 and the 717 have the best engines out there imo, but the 757 has to be up there as well for me
Love the night time flights, thanks man!
This was an awesome trip report!
Great job. Nice to watch a night flight on the incredible 757
Good video, I sat in row 19E on a 757-200 a week ago to Miami, it was DL1489, love the engine buzz
WOW the engine roar on this one is amazing. I almost can't type. I love the pencil. So sad it is going away.
Beautiful engine sound, very deep sound in this one
Love these ex-NWA 757's, great video!
So far, they have been spared from the aircraft retirements right now. Hopefully it stays that way.
Also flying this route in a week. But reverse. Love the videos man
The "Muscle Jet". I typed in it back in 2003. It could do anything you wanted. Short runway or high DA? No problem. Need to slow way down to accommodate ATC? Still had very good manners. Had to punch out of an approach close to mins? Again...TOGA, pull the nose up 20 and still had to watch the speed. Single engine was never an issue regardless of weight either.
Beautiful Bird....
Very nice night departure!
Nice video!
I've been on this exact plane!!
Greetings from England! Another great vid, my last flight before lockdown was on a 757 from Portugal, Boeing should have kept the 757 and ditched the 737.
Thanks my friend! I agree, the 757 should still be around. Boeing made a big mistake discontinuing it, which Airbus is currently capitalizing on with the A321XLR.
757 is like a School Bus dragster.
Are there many people flying these days during our current pandemic?
I would imagine airports are not as busy as they normally would be, eh?
Great video once again, Sir.
No there are not. Passenger traffic is down over 90%. And airline schedules are as well.
Pretty rare for delta to take 25R at lax for departure unless it is during the noise abatement time at night.
Skylite Productions i am aware, as you were landing into msp during dawn.
something about flying into MSP at night
What's the "OW" after the 757-200? I've never seen that designation before? 😂😊
It means the aircraft is equipped with extra life rafts in ceiling compartments. This allows some aircraft to fly longer distances over water without getting full ETOPS certification.
@sla31 oh wow! Okay I get it "OW" over water? I guess that's the meaning? Hahaha 😁 Thank you My friend! As usual, you're my aircraft/flight information guru.... God bless always 🙏 ❤️ See you Hopefully in Bacolod City Philippines 🇵🇭
@@robertalbertson889 you know, I don't know if that's what OW stands for in this instance or not, but that would sure seem to make sense haha.
Why do you refer to the aircraft as "equipment" in the description?
Because that's the term used in the airline industry to determine what aircraft type is being used. "What's the equipment type" for example.
@@sla31 Oh, I see. Thought you got it mixed with your recording equipment info.
Didn’t like the engine buzz, really,I believe you now about sitting behind the wing.Lol.😂
Well, as you know, sitting directly behind the wing is my preferred place to sit. However, considering this was an overnight redeye, and it was my hotel room for the night, I wanted a Delta comfort seat so I’d be a little more comfortable.
Good good good good GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have only been one time in a 737-200
And you
I flew on a lot of 737-200s when I was younger. With United and Southwest primarily. But, I didn’t take pictures or video back then. And I didn’t keep track of what tail numbers. So I don’t really have any idea how many times I actually flew on them.

Old plane.
Just wanted you to know, I love watching Aviation videos. I enjoy the journey to my destinations, just as much as the destinations themselves. Your passion to share your videos of your travels, has kept me in positive spirits, threw my “Stay-At-Home” quarantine. Even if these videos have happened before COVID-19. Other UA-camrs who blog their journeys have seem to stop, but you still continue to post great content. For this I thank you. And I’m looking forward to when I can resume my travels again.
Thanks my friend. I really appreciate that!
