Started using these a few years ago after 60 years of modeling ! So simple and work perfect. I found them listed as " water pens " when I bought them. The only thing that fooled me was the tip has left hand threads to unscrew to fill them up !
I've used brush pens for watercolour painting and water soluble pencils. I've used decal setting solutions from Microscale, Humbrol and Champ. I find both are good products and look forward to trying both together. The pens vary in quality. If you buy the really cheap one in packs of 10 or 12 some will leak a lot and need throwing away immediately the others will work. I have some Derwent graphic ones I bought from the pencil Museum in Keswick and they are excellent.
I've been using paint pens, water colour pencils for years, always pondered brush pens, but Ive never had a go with them, so Ive not taken the plunge. Micro Sol, Micro Set? Great product but Ive had split lids, the contents then evaporate. Im trialling different brands now. Interesting video, thanks for sharing 👍😊✌️💜
Have some of these brush pens that I have had for years. Never thought of this. This seems a great idea and will give it a try. Knocked a bottle over yesterday 🤐
Have you ever used these types of pens with paints? Might be a really good way to do some of the Luftwaffe schemes that are really hard to do. I need to get these pens!
Excellent idea and so cheap. Thanks.

Excellent tip. I've got a few water brush pens that I use for sketching and painting - might have to give this a go.

Great idea ! Thanks. What about using the pens for extra thin cement? Or varnish?

Where do you get those little silver mixing plates from?
