You'll get core branches at Ahmedabad too. Go for top 3 , if the aim is only placement. Although NIPER-G is performing very well in terms of placement.

NIPER Guwahati is planning to give 500 to all individuals as travel allowances. They are also managing to keep all the students at IIT Guwahati campus. Bt, still nothing declared as official. Wait fr an official update frm them !
