Great stuff! Just getting into sound and this was inspiring. Never thought to break up the audio in a DAW. Did you manually set the chops in Ableton with a specific tool, or took a guess at where the PO would chop the sample?
The simplest is to choose a loop of 4 bars x 4 steps. I use Simpler in Ableton : Slice Mode / By beat / 16 steps. It « reproduces » what happens when you copy a Melodic Slot (of 16 steps) to Rythmic Slot in the K.O!
In my case 8 seconds, but it depends on what you have loaded in the K.O! Full-time is approximately 40s. KO already have 20s factory samples (SF 30s), but you can delete all these samples, and then find them back later by restoring the factory memory.
@@ThibautCaudrelier thanks for getting back to me. how do you restore the factory samples btw? I didn't see anything like that in the instruction manual. of course the instruction is a joke. thank god for youtube!
This is the most entertaining tutoriale ever made on PO! Great job I want more!
Thanks ! I will surely do others ...
great stuff, man!
Thank you !
3 years later! This is fantastic! Why do you time stretch the sample though? 🤔 To match a particular BPM?
Thanks !!
🙏👊🔥👊🙏
Yes to match a precise BPM, also to make each step perfectly on the beat (as Ableton allow to time stretch with time marks)
@@ThibautCaudrelier Of course! Thanks for answering! 🤘
Excellent !
Thank you !

Noice 👍🏻
Thanks!
Again: you're a genius! BTW: what about that two knobs in the upper right corner?!?
Thanks ! Knobs can be used to trim samples, set pitch and volume, filtered frequencies and resonance
How much sampling time is left after making this?

@@ThibautCaudrelier oh wow, thanks. how did you find that out? again, nowhere to found in the manual...🤷
