I don’t know how I lived one year without your videos
Looks like he improved a lot. He used to do the same instinctive thing all novice bodyboarders do in the barrel which is to kind of shrink backwards on the board and look up when the lip pitches. As a result you slow down and lose pressure on the inside rail which means you then slide out and get lipped. The key to making barrels is paddling hard to get into the wave early, get forward on the board (way more than feels natural), keep your weight on your elbow on the inside rail, head up looking forward and aim high on the wave to exit the barrel. Takes novices years to figure that out and I just told you for nothing! Ha.

Willy keep trying those air rolls and spins. You almost have them down. For those rollos just try and time the lip connection a bit better and the spins as you turn pull your body a little further up and cross your legs behind and lead with your head. Awesome vid man! You got me stoked again 🤙🏼

Thanks Koby!! I use 8, but to me the quality difference isn't super noticeable from recording on 4k between 6,7,8. Try balancing your colours a bit in editing. Filming at certain times of the day and different weather conditions will make your image have some unnatural colour. So you often gotta tweak it for best results

Hi I’m a new body boarder and I think you should do a tip/how to for duck diving as it’s called from where I live because I can not find any good videos and it would help rookies like me get out to those wave
If you haven't check it yet, There's a guy who surfs regularly in pipeline who has made a video about duck diving. His name is Nathan Florence and its his most recent video. It's for surfing but i think it could be helpful for bodyboarders too i guess. :)
