I believe the effects are just Vocoder. Regardless this track combined with the lyric video just makes it such a haunting and emotional hit for me. Even on subsequent listens with my eyes closed it got me again

The effect is a Harmonizer. If you want another track to compare it to listen to Imogen Heap's song "Hide & Seek". Hope that helps everyone wanting to know what it is. 🤘

Leave it to Sleep Token to release one of the most beautiful interludes I've heard
All I could here was Hide & Seek and I was very confused at first. His voice is perfect and I don't need an Imogen Heap Effect on it, personally. The song is beautiful and the more I listen to it the more it touches me. It would've hit harder with his real voice. I am assuming this is a prelude or interlude. We will find out soon.

Thought the same thing about it being like Imogen. Also that chorus felt like all of you from John Legend. Nonetheless I dig it for what it is. Probably a filler and going to make the album flow really well.

It’s the 6th song on the album so I see it as an interlude, especially since it’s a short track in comparison to others
What a track
The song takes a lot of clear influence from Hide & Seek by Imogen Heap, which is an iconic song.
Still, I can’t help but feel it sounds like Soundwave from Transformers 😂
I mean it's got meaning like you say , but it's not for me . I would have preferred his voice without the effects . His voice is good enough for me without the effects
I like the Imogen Heap-esque vocoder work but I admit your version would be equally emotionally devastating as well. Just a bunch of vocal layers in harmony.
They might do an acoustic version eventually like for blood sport
I hope they do an acoustic version like the version of Bloodsport they did.

@@MTNReacts if they do though, I hope they add to it. The harmonizing is what keeps the song interesting with its repeating lyrics in my opinion, and without that I would probably get bored. I’ll just have to wait and see if they do it I guess but I trust that anything they make will be good at this point
