Kalmankantaja is a fucking great band. The album Muinainen is easaly in my top 10 Black Metal Albums of all time. The riffs are just on god mod man. I love this album to death. But all his other stuff is great aswell, aspecally the time period 2015-16 and the Nostalgia Triology. Love it.
Really?! Some high praise indeed! Well, I'll definitely check out that album you mentioned. I've got it saved in my "Albums to Buy List," so I'll get my hands on it eventually. Thanks!
Wow… this was probably the most vinyl I've seen you show in one entire video… all really good stuff! But wait… you started out the video with sake… but then showed the game soundtrack at the end there… I suppose for your watchers who don't already know, it went under the original title "Biohazard" back in Japan, there's a cool CD version of it that came out back in 2015.
Yeah I think you're correct on that! Yeah I meant to talk about the Biohazard thing, but, ugh, yeah, sake was happening, haha. Anyway, I believe the 2015 version you mention is actually the GameCube remake of the original. The original original has never been released before.
Man i remember Resident Evil 1 so well when I first played it as a kid on my Playstation 1. Took me weeks to open a door properly haha. Great shout on that Gates of Dawn, sounds awesome. Great video Joe!
To be fair, the sake I was drinking had a untypical flavor, but I dig it. Did you have the Hadak ura album that Dread Records released? His songs have gotten a lot better since then!
Cool bands to check out as usual from you Joe! I loved the Resident Evil games, but didn't keep up as I got older and was unwilling to keep upgrading consoles.
I followed Resident Evil until the 4th one, which required me to buy a stupid fucking GameCube, but that game totally ruled too, so it was worth it. It wasn't until about ten years later I played the others, but only because my wife happens to like video games and she has one of the modern consoles.

Awesome update, I can totally appreciate the detour into Resident Evil. I played the hell out of that game when it came out!
Thanks man! Totally classic essential game to play!
A sipping drink? Never heard of one of those!
More black metal that I haven't heard of and I've never played Resident Evil 😅🤘🏻
Haha, I mean you can take shots of sake, but it tastes interesting, so I sip. Aw, shucks you missed out on Resident Evil!? Great game back in the day.
