I'm really enjoying this. Eastern Europe is much more interesting than the rest of Europe in my view.
Very Nice, I like Kosovo, im planning to go from Albania, what they asked when you crossed the border? thanks
@@LucaShanti They asked for my passport and vaccination card.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos ok thanks a lot!!
@@ILLYRIANPost that's illegal, because the border between Serbia and Albania is an official border. Thanks for revealing the truth and the obvious source of sudden boom of Albanian population in Kosovo and Metochia - exactly what I was pointing out.
Gabriel thank you for visiting im actually from Kosovo living in Pristina aka the capital anyway thank you for visiting!
That's some extreme traveling Gabe! In the middle of nowhere in the Balkans trying your luck for ride
Everyone going to paris, london, new york etc.. only Gabriel give us the world true remote destinations. Amazing. Be safe dear friend!
well, what happens is you go to those places that are the most popular first when your new to travelling then expand to lesser known countries after that if you have the travel bug. I still have Kosovo, Albania, San Marino, Georgia, Ukraine, and Russia. I guess ill be missing the last two for a very long time now. i have been to all the other countries of Europe.
@@jaymeese7714 I´m so glad, I could still visit Ukraine in January
Feels like a warm place in the sense of the community.. great deal on the hotel... food looks top.
Your travel style is such a great remedy to my own nervousness. I study the hell out of a place before getting there, and even rehearse my walks through the cities using online maps and videos. I see that you trust of the place can be a lot more enjoyable, or less stressful. Thanks!
The food looked good and hearty for a cold winter day. I hope you slept well after that!
Your adventures are very interesting and inspiring. Thank you 😊
Following your adventures Gabriel can’t wait for the next episode! 😀
Border crossings always make an interesting video
This is crazy man i just for 2min ago was thinking about kosovo, travel to kosovo via makedonia skopje. and the most crazy thing is that i was in kruje for 3 weeks ago and i slepp one night in hotel panorama kruje with view to castle.
Gabriel, another great video. This part of the world interests me! Hoping to go Montenegro next month.
You will have a great time in Montenegro! I would suggest staying in Tivat and then Przno instead of Kotor and Budva. And just day trip to those places. You can walk from Przno to Sveti Stefan in like 10 mins.
@@Originalman144 thanks for the advice. Is Tivat nice?
Love seeing the lesser known countries getting some spotlight. Prizren is looking a great spot to explore. Looking forward to this.
Looks amazing in Kosovo. Congrats on visiting yet another Balkan nation, after this trip do you think you will return to the Balkans again?
Always more to see, so yeah definitely.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Are you coming after Kosovo back to Greece again
@@Polychronisdrone Not sure yet but it's possible.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos hi sir, how expensive was the food in Kosovo? how much is a meal in a restaurant?
@@Norwegianization I showed the food and prices in all of my Kosovo videos, including at the end of this one.
Beautiful city 👍😁
Hello Gabriel,
I'm so happy to see you in Kosovo...
it seems that this country is very interesting, cheap, beautiful and "american-like" , let' s just say modern, compared to Albania and even Serbia.
I had friends, who entered Kosovo from
Serbia and could see " a huge difference" as they told me, concerning people's mentalities, the look of their main cities, shops, fashion, lights, cars...currency (€) , but low cost of living, excellent food...and
" smiling, happy people"...most of them speaking good english...
It's your turn now , to tell us your opinions about Kosovo 😀 and show us this interesting Balkan country. The mountains are beautiful..but it's still pretty cold over there.
See you in the next vlog, enjoying this special country 🖐
Yea it’s amazing how Kosovo is much more advanced than both Serbia and Albania
Kosovo is like Germany on Balkan. Serbia and Albania have more poverty.
its more like turkish - arabic like ,,, where are you from ?
Outstanding video. Very unique town. Certainly not like anything else in Europe. The light is very interesting. And you managed to capture the sounds and the sights perfectly. Great job. Wow. I loved it.
Fascinating adventure. It's not on my list but seeing it through your eyes is sufficient. Thanks.
Looking forward to more Kosovo vids -- I don't know anything about this country so it's cool to see you explore. The town reminds me of something out of a video game or something.
What amazing surroundings interesting love the bridges crossing over the river glad you got a bus 🚌 I was a little concerned Gabriel stay safe and enjoy your travels I am always praying 🙏 for your well-being and safe travels take care yourself and again thank you for sharing your journey with all of Us Blessings Gabriel
Don't know if you have reached Pristina yet but I can say that Prizen is 100 times nicer! It's freezing all over Europe at the moment. Here today in Cyprus it's 10c and it should be about 20c at this time of year!
It's true, in Jerusalem here we have the first time in many years a snow twice a year!
Pz is a big zero compared to Pr.
Kosovo looks beautiful. You got some brass balls, to travel to some of the places you go. Thanks for the journey❤️
That pizza looked just like the ones i had at the Istanbul airport lounge...so good. i looked it up and they call it pied. The food looks so good!
Wow this city looks amazing
Nice Gabriel 😎🙌
G Man keep the videos Coming Family...... Watching from the Dominican Republic.....
nice video, hope you enjoyed the food.
Thanks.. Gabriel.. 👍👍👍💚
After last video I wondered how you would make it to Kosovo. I really enjoyed this. Kosovo looks very nice. Thanks for the great video. It was so easy to follow. It was like I was with you.
So interactive, take care
Underrated beautiful city. The canal made even lovelier.
Thank u for visiting my country 😊
Ur speaking is natural
I'm from Prizren,it is worth to visit this place.
Gabe so happy you reached safely was a bit worried that you were stranded last video
Alright, alright, alright was an answer on Jeopardy todat! Awesome!!
Really, what was the question?
Prizren looks cozy
I spent 9 months in Kosovo in 2003. Good times
When you put up the caption to say Big Orange Juice Fan I thought you were going to play Rip It Up by the group Orange Juice - a fantastic song.
Never heard of them but checked it out, catchy song.
Can't wait to see what Kosovo looks like!
Kosovo Is a beautiful place.Every city is different and unique.
@@QuantumGamingUploads Yeah. I am still have my mind to cisit there
Hi Gabriel
Prizren is very beautiful city, Castle too..
Little bit time ago I have found this channel, definitely it went my top list at Ytube, enjoining))) Many thanks Gabriel!
Great, glad to hear it.
Damn, Prizren beats all cities in Albania in aesthetics. The buildings (the moderns ones too) look much better and there is space in the streets.
I don't think so. Nothing beats a city Ceasar used to walk in and Alexander The Great called it home.
The best city in Albania is Tirana 100%
Hahahaha😂 keep lying to urself wich city does prizen beat tirana durres vlora shkodra fieri saranda, berat gjirokaster ,modern buildings in tirana make prishtina and prizen look like a village
@@worldbanknotecollector5787
I think the best city in Albania is Gjirokastra
Tirana is ugly, just a capital without monuments
@@Shqipe_alb7 Prishtishtina eshte New York per Tiranë
I was there three years ago and enjoyed the friendly people and I can honestly say that it is the most affordable place to visit in the Balkans
What an adventure! Amazing prices in that restaurant. 3 euro for a pizza! wow
Hi Gabriel, Well you guess right the bus came along but sometimes that's a crapshoot. The more frustrating situation is the language because that could have remedied many things and resolved them quickly. It still works out for the best. Many places around the world seem to have kinds of undesignated bus stops that only the locals know of.
glad that you are visiting north albania...
ahhahahahahahhahaah Kosovo is Albanian but maybe on another planet. On this planet, Kosovo is the only Serbian one
It sure looks like an affordable place to visit.
Looks so beautiful and relaxing i can imagine myself smoking a joint seeing that little river
Pure coincidence, that "Alright, alright, alright" phrase you used was the Final Jeopardy answer last night...a la Mathew Mcconaughey! Prizren looks like a charming little city. Reminds me of some of the towns vlogger Alina McLeod went to in North Macedonia. Easy to see why the Balkans are becoming popular, given how much more reasonably the cost is to travel there as well. That meal was a steal! Can't wait to see more of that area.
Funny, love that movie. But I'm actually copying Jim Morrison from the album "An American Prayer".
Love your sweet journey, very much relaxing and enjoyable with music.
I went there in summer so lots more people
Was there a few times a decade ago .They had a system if you raised your hand someone would stop and you would pay them some money and BAM you had a ride. Not sure if it is still common usage.
Just fyi. Sometimes they have bus what they call express and those don’t stop to smaller bus stop. Many countries in regions have those so be aware
Hi Gabriel, Big fan...are you headed back to Greece on this trip?
You should visit the medieval ortodox christian serbian monastery from 14. Century Visoki Decani located 2 km from Decan not far away from Prizren.
Also serbian monastery Pecka Patrijarsija near the town of Pec and the beautiful monastery Gracanica south from Pristina.
Those monasterys are under the protection of UNESCO.
Hello Gabriel 🤩
Howdy.
its just incredible the art of resolving problems in such situations,am ethnic albanian and use your videos to explore my Homeland.. Im planing to visit those places next months.. Thank you very very much Sir for showing the world the other side of Albania and Kosovo..🇦🇱🇽🇰... Long live America🇺🇸🙌
like the background music has a reggae vibe.
food looks yummy and very affordable.
damn he is actually in prizren and as usually he will will launch with beer
I was there 3 weeks ago !
Cool.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I would give you a ride if I saw you on the highway :)
Excellent, I'll keep my eyes open for you.
Gabe, just wondering how heavy your packs are?
The big one is around 25-30 pounds, not super heavy. The small one is a lot lighter.
I was suffering while you went past the restaurant 'Te Syla'. It is one of the best restaurants in town.
Good to know, next time.
That is A LOT of food you order (it looks delicious though).
Question: Do you eat it all on the spot, or do you bring some back with you to your hotel to eat later?
Probably eats one meal a day that's why he sometimes spends close to 10 bucks
Hello greetings amigo
Im in Dubronik planning to go to Albania and Kosovo or return to my country (Mexico) nice video as always gabriel
You should se the film “Kosovo a Moment in Civilisation” on You Tube. There could you se more about the monasterys you should visit.
That is a serbian propagandist documentary, so no I wouldn’t recommand it to tourists!
I can't wait to see you post about Prizren
I'm from Prizren🇽🇰 but I live in Italy, everytime I go in Prizren I feel like a tourist, I just love my city.
The fortress is one of the most beautiful things ever.
great video, very informative, thanks and thumbs up. 🙏❤🇦🇱❤🙏🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇺🇸🇦🇱🇦🇱🇺🇸🇽🇰🇦🇱🇦🇱.
God BLES USA und ALBANIAN.
QUESTION: Can you travel with home CV test kits now and just show them the results??
I'm not sure, it sounds like a lot of places won't accept home tests. But the tests are less required now anyway, I haven't had to take one since I arrived in Europe over a month ago.
now those food prices are more like it
The pharmacies with the green neon sign please let me know what they are they look like weed dispensaries
I love it. What currency do they use here?
They use the euro.
Hi bro great vedio i have Albania trc card can i travel on this card legaly ksovo and serbia by road plz answer me
You know you have entered Kosovo when you see everywhere shops.
Those looked like cheap prices in the restaurant.
Hella cheap and great food every meal so far in Kosovo.
1st one gabriel.!!
Boom, got it, good job.
OMG you ate all that?
I think you missed the town off kukës it's not too big
you who do not know about the republic of kosovo then you can know that this country is recognized by 117 states including the strongest richest countries in the world for example america, germany, england, france, israel and more, and more
what a cheap prices in Kosovo. Same prices in Bulgaria we had bevore 15 years, but now is much expenciver.
5:12 question mark in the sky...
Brravo Rrespek 🇦🇱
16:20, Hey..!! It's not a cacophony of Ezans..!! It's supposed to be like this.. The biggest mosque Müezzin starts first and other smaller ones follows each other..!!! It's the rule..
❤
Enjoyable content again bro!
Are you going to visit Bosnia again , since youre in the Balkans ??
😊
Great find, Gabriel - that looks like a gem of a little city! I've heard the female to male ratio is quite high in Kosovo because of the war. The prices also seem fantastic - looks like you could be in a lot worse places! Looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful country, thanks 🙏
Welcome to Prizren, the Monaco of the Balkans.
It has to do with our national telephonic number
Kosovo didn't had his own telephonic number after we got independence, we got it 2/3 years ago
So we used the one of Monaco.. no idea which type of agreement it was
Gabriel is like Bald and Bankrupt on valium.
Was a covid test necessary for the border crossing into Kosovo?
They checked my passport and asked for proof of vaccination. Without that I guess a Covid test would have been required.
Did you need that PCR test to enter Kosovo and what were the requirements
No, but they did ask to see a vaccination card.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos thks.wishing you all the best on your travels
My friend you make great videos ...but the music😩😩
Restaurant Konak is Turkish cuisine.
How you doing
Romania is not in the Balkans. Different area, latin language. In fact, the only latin speaking country in that half of Europe.
I' headed there in September with the Peace Corps for 27 months. Any talk of the war in Ukraine?
I'm sure people are talking about it, but I haven't had any conversations with locals on the subject. Hard to say what things might be like in September, hopefully this craziness will be long done by then, we can hope.
Does google translate ever help on your travels?
Yes, I use it pretty regularly to translate words and phrases, just on my phone, not in conversation with people.
Woww. Food there are yummi yummi :) in Kosovo. In 1989 1990, 1991, 92, 93 I was near Hamburg in Germany and there Kosovo was batle of Bancans war, was so terrible time. The european people say that this region are so many drugs dealear, that's true? I mind like in Mexico? Other problem that everybody tell is transport problem between cities, there's no trains and not to much bus services. Must have you patience and stressless to be in the railway waiting for a bus in the middle of nowhere in the and tired of a hard day.
Prizren is the best
Try Kosovo to Serbia. I had to find another entry
