Great to see you back in the saddle Mel! It sucks that UA-cam rewards consistent content uploads; not particularly compatible with humans being human. But glad to see the algorithm still popping TTT videos up for me when they're available. Bought some mdf and foam terrain bits off you a few years ago and they've done good work for me when I've been able to use them. Thanks for cracking on sir. You're a legend, and I look up to you.
good see you put vid out and keep up the great vlogs nice work nice things you got four basbord you got cool things going on wit your builds thanks lee
Ive got a ton of Hirst arts molds and love them. I've also dropped a bunch of old resin into them. I especially do it whenever I'm working with plaster because it's easier on the molds
Hey Mel, It's honestly awesome to see you back! And, happy to see you getting into the Wild West! That was one of my first wargames back in the 1980s! I played in a 'bank robbery' campaign that spanned several games and it was awesome! I'm still working on the 15mm Trojan War project - trying to get back to painting after a few months absence and your work always motivates me! I still haven't planned out the city of Troy yet - I'll be concentrating on the various contingents first and then, a year from now probably - I'll try to tackle Troy itself. Other than that, I've been trying to step up my terrain game by adding a few forests and messing around with basing some of the houses to represent farms and villages! We have an awesome hobby and it's great to see you getting back into it! Crack on!
So much hobby goodness going on in your studio/home Mel LOVE IT! Those staffs are next level awesome buddy! The icons are so good! I love star gazing too so much wonder in the universe.. multiverse? Who knows? Many thanks for another banger of a video brother! Like button smashed into orbit! :)
Looking at the models, you probably don't need supports. It is something that I have stopped doing with a lot of the buildings I print. I have found that small wood chisels help with prying supports of. A small flat tip screw driver helps too.
Mental health is always a priority I'm trying to get modeling projects done even if it's a bit at a time. Was nice seeing you in Nottingham the other week and the book which I already had is a very handy tool to have. My problem with terrain and model building is the high humanoids I have that affect my hands doing detail work it gets very painful and doesnt help my mental health so any tips on helping with that would be great.
@TheTerrainTutor yeah docs say use the gel cream and not to do too much which is a pain as means not being able to do miniature stuff as much as I want.
Yeah, Bo, Balisong, Double Sticks, 15yrs, my sifu was Dave Carnell, Cass Magda's representative in the Uk. I've done seminars with Cass and Dan Inosanto, and met Linda Lee mate
@@TheTerrainTutor Thanks, it'll be interesting so see how it goes. When I give the sets away I point them at your channel in the hope they'll take it up and most seem to.
Have you ever tried making sheets of PVC from PVC pipe? Seen some folks on here do some crazy stuff but wondering if the sheets would be good for terrain basing?
Too bad you don't live in the states, I've got an Elegoo Saturn resin printer I'm giving away to someone who'd use it. It would probably be no more expensive to buy a new one then to pay for the shipping.
Great to see you back in the saddle Mel!

3D printing is SOOOOooooo ADDICTIVE!!!!! Sue is printing egyptian village terrain right now:)!
Drill a hole down the middle of the staff and add leds to light up te resin bits. Wizard Mel.

Ive got a ton of Hirst arts molds and love them. I've also dropped a bunch of old resin into them. I especially do it whenever I'm working with plaster because it's easier on the molds
Totally, but the really fine stuff really needs resin
We have a BOAT LOAD of Hirst arts!!!!! Sue wants an Egyptian dungeon and we have a 100 pound bag of old plaster yet in the basement:)
The staff with constellations is epic.
It's already looking better
Your home hobby space is lit, as the kids say.
Safe, as the kids say

Plenty of that coming mate

Enchanting it?
Yeah, I likes that bud
*Staff +1 for it's sturdy build an gleaming finish.
Menacing Melanie ?? Thought it was drunken Melanie after her fall🤣🤣
There's only one drunken Mel on this channel

It's best to get advice on your health from your doctor mate
@TheTerrainTutor yeah docs say use the gel cream and not to do too much which is a pain as means not being able to do miniature stuff as much as I want.
Wizarding world of Magnificent Mel! 😜
Yep
Hey did you learn any staff in your JKD training? A resin staff would hit like a mac truck!!!!!
Yeah, Bo, Balisong, Double Sticks, 15yrs, my sifu was Dave Carnell, Cass Magda's representative in the Uk. I've done seminars with Cass and Dan Inosanto, and met Linda Lee mate
I would say your "enchanting" your walking stick.
I likes that
Resin in the eyes of some of the skulls? Water pooling…
Already made that build, its in the lets make playlist
Playing with your staff😂
oh yes!
11:00 How to defend against someone who attacks you with a banana!
Totally!
One question where did you get mold from????? Let me know I am working with reigns too.
They look like Hirst Arts molds. They are from the U.S., but you can get them in Europe.
Thanks.@@WilliamTheMovieFan
@@garryeckert5929 you are welcome! I have quite a few myself, and they are very handy.
❤️🤘🔥
It'll be interesting to see how you work with the balsa (or is it ply?). Cheap is good as I give my sets away and 2 mil greyboard is 60p per A4 sheet!
It's balsa mate
@@TheTerrainTutor Thanks, it'll be interesting so see how it goes. When I give the sets away I point them at your channel in the hope they'll take it up and most seem to.
What's up with the staff, Mel? Are you going LARP'ing? If so, have fun :D
This astronomer appreciates your constellations!
Glad you like them mate
Have you ever tried making sheets of PVC from PVC pipe? Seen some folks on here do some crazy stuff but wondering if the sheets would be good for terrain basing?
According to UA-cam you are again "M the train shooter" :D
Gotta luv them
Heh, tuff luv for the terrain! sorry, not sorry.
;-)
Careful Mel! Auto subtitles thinks that you're the "train shooter" !!
Always does mate
just found some cowboys on cults3d while searching for people
Hope you get good usage out of the phone stand, whizzed through the payment didn't clock the message thingy, sh1te happens, all the best
Oh mate, I'm already using it! It's right by the side of me, thank you buddy!
Too bad you don't live in the states, I've got an Elegoo Saturn resin printer I'm giving away to someone who'd use it. It would probably be no more expensive to buy a new one then to pay for the shipping.
That's a shame mate
