As far as conspiracies go I think Dr doom was originally going to be a series 2 toybiz throw back like they did with hulk, captain America, iron man and toad. But since the toybiz series 2 was a fantastic 4 wave they dropped the idea but liked the idea of releasing a Dr doom. I would have like a thing with butterfly joints but it just a crazy Theory since the doom came with a doom bot head and kinda out of the blue. That doom would have made for a good army builder if it did happen.
Amazon may have posted the Canadian price as the American price?

That's why I'm hating 2 packs and 3 packs now. It's essentially a paywall issue. I never warmed to Taskmaster myself, but I would consider getting him due to the dearth of Avengers villains we have. But no way I'm paying for a 3-pack to get him. And now we'll likely never get a classic version of him any time in the next few years at least, if ever. Same for the Baron Zemo 2-pack. Zemo is a vital villain and I already have an Arnim Zola. In fact they already released two versions of Arnim Zola prior. So I had to pay for 2 figures to get one. And Iron Fist. Now I have to get the modern Luke Cage which I have no interest in (as my name implies, I'm a vintage fan). And now I've heard speculation that Loki was taken out of this set so they can include him with Odin. This keeps up, they're gonna lose me as a customer.
2-pack and 3-packs should only be used for army builders. Hydra agents. A.I.M. agents. SHIELD agents. Same for BAFs. I hate them. I'd love to army build a Mindless Ones army for Dormammu and I'd gladly drop $150 for a 5-pack of them. I'm NOT buying an entire wave of characters I mostly don't want or already have just to get a 2nd one.

Why is hasbro relrelasing a good majority of the buid a figures a year or to 4 years after theyre released in a wave. I remember selling the baf man thing......a couple years ago. Now im gonna get him again im glad they do that but rereleasing some figs is a wste to me
