David Wilson you’re missing the point bud. This channel is known for and most cartubers try to be innovative with their builds. Doing a LHD swap isn’t that at all.
@@idokwatcher2062 Take comfort in knowing that he waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy overpaid for this wrecked Supra. He could have been patient and actually worked for connections in Japan to find a suitable car to import for waaaaaay less than he paid. Thinking a LHD swap will make the RHD JDM car more valuable is just stupid.
You could of imported a manual turbo supra from the uk undamaged for less than 25k.
I now made a comment saying he he overpaid even for a Japan purchase
I doubt it, those cars are starting to go nearer 30k over here now.
ell595 Yeah. Close to 30k in good condition. Man paid 25k for a fucked one
@@ell595 That's for pristine cars. A quick search on the classifieds and I found two Manual, Twin Turbo Supras for sale under the £18k price tag.
Yeah no close to double that. 40 thousand to 50 thousand pounds. A legendary jdm car is not going to be cheap in other places there's no way around it. For the condition its in he didn't get a steal but he didn't get wripped off. It's only the beginning with prices go see if it's gonna be cheaper. Supra parts are expensive af
So stoked to see this beauty rolling through the Stumptown streets.
I love the way the music goes bad-a** whenever you show a wrecked car. Awesome!
“Out of my price range” with 2 lambos and a Austin Martin just to name a few lmao
Aston Martin numb nuts
David Lawrence Banks 😂😂😂
And a GTR, V10 Datsun,
If you need any help or guidance brother let me know! I’ve built a few MK4 Supras and Currently OEM 2 MK4 Supra (one 6 speed manual and one Auto)
If you can't find some discontinued parts the we are making them from cf and 3d print. Soon will be more!
www.ebay.com/str/suprashopracers
I want it JDM so I'll convert it to LHD! Yuck!🤮🤮🤮
Well if it were not for the option to do a LHD conversion he would probably not had even considered buying this particular supra for you to enjoy the build. You cant blame someone that just wants to enjoy driving the dam car!
@@evoman44 then he just need to stop saying I want a JDM Supra
asiboy29 exactly should of bought it in the states then
LMFAO "Watch out country collapse on the news" Love it!
crazy to see you have 1 mill subscribers.. remember when you had like 200k. happy for your success
pretty sure you could of got a non wrecked rhd supra for 25k ffs
You sure can here in Australia....
yeah you could but it would be an N/A Auto whereas this one is a 6 speed Twin turbo worth way more (TJ Hunt paid 50k for his)
@@demetristavrou you can find the 5 speed still for less.. you can get auto na well under 20k and just put a better cd009 in it.
Mitch The Permabull depends what year lol
@@coronaextra667 the getrag V160 in that can hold much more power than the R154 and it is also much better than a CD009 as you dont have to worry about adaptor kits and shifter relocations
To LHD convert it makes importing one from Japan almost pointless. A JDM supra is actually worth more in the US, or at least I would think so.
😂 love how fast you we’re talking at the beginning.
I love the narration at the beginning. I say keep it RHD. I think 25k is way too much but I like it when you reveal how much stuff costs it's crazy! Love Supras congrats on the new build and good luck!
It is cool to see that you had a great experience in Japan to get to see & buy your dream CAR.
You just didn’t want to say it or anything about that cross walk imagine that well I will say it FAST AND FURIOUS WAS FILMED THERE
And yet later on in the video "I was definitely a FnF fanboy"
Obviously not as big as others... I would have been like "YO HAN, SORT THIS WANKER OUT" RIP Han
I think that was the joke haha. He knew it was too obvious most likely.
I don’t think Tokyo drift was filmed in Japan I think it was in California
txpate2009 tokyo drift was filmed in The US, they were never in Japan while filming
Yes, 700 to 800 horsepower is "reasonable" 🤔
Anything less is a crime
Man I’m excited for this build
I literally jumped when I got the notification.
This is going to be a bad ass car. Can’t wait to see what you make of it.
I am extremely excited for this build! This is my dream car and i hope to get myself a wrecked one to rebuild one day
I’ve lived in the UK for a year and enjoyed my RHD rental i had during this time.... for me RHD is the epitome of car driving. I think you’d kill this diamond if you convert it..... but whatever floats your boat, I’m exited to watch the project grow!
LHD Supras are more expensive and original LHD are even more expensive.
@@MIKEK3NT Not in Europe. Can get nr mint Turbos for the same as he paid for that wreck
At last, someone from (presumably) NA who understands RHD is the correct side for the driver.
@@MIKEK3NT Nobody
Literally nobody
MIKEK3NT: LHD is expensive.
In what universe are you in right now. Ik theres that limited edition thing thats lhd but jdm to a US stock lhd?
He lives in US so pretty much he will have to, if he keeps it RHD and then sells it a short time after all you bitchboys will be the first to complain
Here i am making a rhd car and your taking a rhd making it lhd smh lol
If you're living in a lhd country and you're doing that you must be dumb af
Boldog Lazar why?
@@boldoglazar369 How is that dumb lol so everyone who imports a car from Japan is dumb clown
@@jamesireland9188 Clearly you misunderstood. Nothing wrong with living in a LHD country and importing a car from Japan.. The moronic thing is importing a car from Japan and then converting to left hand drive.
@@AusMatt boldog lazer said i was dumb af for converting a lhd car to rhd. How is james ireland misunderstanding what boldog said.... but I agree importing a rhd car turning it to lhd is dumb
Nice to hear you’re keeping it fairly close to OEM. I have a stock JDM Mitsubishi GTO and my mate has a stock JDM Supra!
If you fancy sending the turbos to the UK it would help my mate out!! 🙈
Can’t wait for the build!
45Camster just buy new turbos...
DomesticGarage! Was looking for a like for like replacement but aftermarket may be the way to go!
Still waiting on the Supra a year later.
😭
lets be honest, he didnt rly have to mention JDM when hes literally iin japan
So what happened to the huracan? I wanted to see videos of its performance and stuff but like... it's like you never did it..
Keep it rhd for the love of all things JDM!
Still on my bucket list to visit Japan, looks like an amazing place 🤗 Looking forward to seeing this new project progress 🔧
This is sooo sick ! I actually just found a barnfind Twin Turbo 6 speed USA Supra ! Pretty cool ! It only has 40k miles too
I thought the STI was the thing that was gonna bring this channel back, and then...BAM!! SUPRA!!
We never see any content with the cars you build. Been waiting for 240z v10 content
Tbone Scriv I hope he didn’t sell it
B is for Butchering a Classic.
Not gonna be watching this one.
Lost me when you said left hand conv.
Yep.
Just don't buy a RHD car if you're gonna swap it anyway. Makes no sense.
He lost me when he paid 25k.. he could of bought a clean twin turbo one for that in the UK 🤦🏻♂️
@@popawheelie2431 Link to a clean TT V160 Supra for $25k in UK please.
@@_waymin Makes perfect sense... it's still cheaper than a true LDH TT V160 Supra in the states....
@@popawheelie2431 Thanks. I've sent them a message to verify the mileage and that is indeed an original V160 car. Lets see what they'll come back with.
I lived in japan from 2001 to 2008... the older supras and Skylines were what the teen kids were driving around. would be like a 90s mustang to us... its amazing how much supras and Skylines go for over in the US. just crazy. 60-100K for something that is seen as a kids car or over in JP.
@ 2:45 so cool, now I know where my spare projector is going, will need to clean the floor tiles.
LHD conversion???? You just hurt my soul 😣😔😷😢😭
@Lumer well that's just not true
@Lumer I love how that somehow makes sense to you. Import vehicles are always the most expensive, yet you'd convert it to LHD? Oh well. Not my car
Lost me at left hand conversation... if you was going to do that just buy one in the us already
Mrk4 supras are close to 100grand fuck that he is probably looking at 3k for the car and 15 for shipping I'd guess. Don't get me wrong its annoying and stupid he is going LHD but its his money
I commented too soon so 20grand for the car still way in the green
Jelly052 25k* + import and repairs
@6:45 Estonishing, even as a pile of junk JDM Supras are in high demand.
@13:25 LOL, there is no wrong side of the road. There are just different standards and regulations.
Its the first time i saw a Supra with stock R34 stock rims
Oh man...you had the FD, now the GTR, the 240Z, the STi, now a Mk4 Supra? You're well on your way to a quintessential JDM dream garage!
One of my friends here in Atlanta Georgia graduated high school in 1996 and his parents bought him a 96 twin turbo supra but it was an automatic but I still love to drive that car
