  • The origins of Port Seton harbour lie a little inland at the tiny hamlet of Seton, where Seton Palace was built by the Setons in the early 1600’s.
The 11th Lord Seton built a harbour at what became known as Port Seton in 1655. This grew primarily as a fishing harbour, though it also serviced the Setons' estates.

I was very interested in this video as I'm originally from there, however that bloody tap, tap, or sounds of tapping edge of drum in the background whilst trying to listen to you was hard work, why does everyone have this crap going on which clearly spoils delivery of lovely videos.

That's disappointing that you are not keen on the music, I will have to see if I can get more appropriate music going forward, thanks for your input.

@@DronemanScotland Thanks for your prompt response to my mone, there are lots of people out there that can't stand irritating taps and knocks spoiling everything , as you can't please everyone, perhaps best just narratives only. They are first class videos with plenty of history/background to them so please continue. Hopefully I've not been rude with my comment 😞 thanks

Hi there. My name is Mikey. I do the music and voiceover for the Droneman Scotland videos. I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t keen on the music. I make new music all the time so it varies from video to video. I have also learned a lot since making this piece of music and have actually since remixed it.
I’ve had many compliments for how relaxing my music is, however I will look into softening the tambourine in the mix to make it more accessible for people with disabilities such as Misophonia.
      All the best my friend.

@@MikeyDobz Hiya Mikey, Grateful thanks for not taking offence with my comments. Methinks it's just society taking it for granted that everyone puts out this tapping noises, perhaps I'm just a one percent of the crowd that dislikes it. Please just continue what you think best and ignore people like me, and I'll simply turn volume down.😁 the video brought me lots of thought from years ago. Are you from the area yourself Mikey.

Yeah, kind of, I’ve been here for over 25 years now.
Misophonia really is a thing though, if you’re not familiar with it you should Google it. It’s very interesting and there may be someone who can help you out.
