It must have been so terrifying for your viewer to see. She's mistaken about it being three tornadoes. It was just one. From the time it dropped a funnel and touched down, it stayed on the ground. The condensation funnel didn't go all the way to the ground the whole time, but if you watch Reed Timmer's footage from his live stream, you can see the swirl on the ground even when there seemed to be an invisible section of the funnel in the middle. Glad your viewer was safe. I hope no lives were lost in Andover today.
@@adamspringer3742 Ok, I don't know where you heard that, but I just watched a news conference with Sedgewick and Butler county police, EMS & fire, and there were only 3 injuries reported, one serious. No deaths. That's not to say they still might find someone was killed, since it's early hours and it's dark, and power is out. Some houses are completely gone, but initial searches helped pull people out and only found the three I mentioned injured. Hopefully that will be all, but I guess we'll see in the morning.
People talk about what to have in your shelter or safe place, somone said a hattche to dig your way out, im thinking a cell phone to call for help some food and water. And a weather radio and flashlight Also an air horn to signal for help The hattche might not be enough to get you out. So you'll need somthing to make noise loud noises.
