Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has 129 characters and Seereax made a tierlist ranking all the characters including DLC for one giant roster and I rate some of his picks from one I completely agree with to a few that I would fight people over but how good is Seereax's tierlist actually?

I still believe that Cabba isn't a terrible character in the game, he just needs better Special Moves and to be just a tad bit faster. Kale just the smallest damage and range bump. Caulifla and Frost just needs a small damage boost, hope they get customs eventually
Frost and Cabba where on the Hero vote for the costum keys,unfortunately they got ignored and different versions of Goku and Vegeta where added instead

You should definitely do a tier list of just the custom partners, since it’d allow for more in depth explainations and would be much shorter too. I’d also say Raditz is S with custom since his damage is monstrous. Also Zamasu since his Custom Mentor can make stamina breaks basically a stamina reset.
Raditz is solid mid tier with custom, he doesn't have any cancels on his own without ki, his frames and range are also pretty short, his hp, stam and ki are not that high either in custom

I still do remember launch wig & pan headband used to turn yellow & also, you could turn into fake super saiyan.
Custom partner bardock is so badass. Super saiyan 3 is just gangster on him. There is the stat spread that increases stamina recovery while standing still, which helps. Casual build however.

Dbs Gohan is a tier because his ults are so easy to just throw out and even harder to actually punish... For example his upper cut comes out so quick you can just throw it out pre stamina break and even if the second part doesn't end it still does great damage... His Kamehameha is also a counter meaning he has 2 counters to make up for any lack of stamina and bad combos....
And his damage is ACTUALLY STUPID high

Base vegeta over ssj4 vegeta is insane. His damge is good and his combos are arguably better. They are easier to learn and work with his supers. Not only that but a full power final shine puts him higher on the tier list.

teen gohan basic attack game might be one of the worst in the game, but, playing behind perfect blocks and doing quick knockbacks into masenkos, and hiding behind guard doing evil whirlwind > masenko, is actually quite formidable. he also has a 2 bar evade (that also confirms masenko) and an LH step cancel so he's pretty safe.
Did you guys know that powered shell can turn into a back hit if you try to turn around while using? When DBS Broly is used right, he’s definitely S

Zamasu is in S because of his custom preset.
mentor janemba gets death beam which is a handy cannon sidegrade, death slash which you can literally just substitute his basic neutral for, and a ki battery soul with an auto health burst.. u trippin

Nappa doing all light into dx is just so unbelievably strong and he has super armor limit burst so he can just spam his way to a win if things get dire...
Goten has one of the most broken super souls in the entire game and I find his "bombs away" combo into charged ki blast into consecutive energy blast works wonders because it's just GOOD and if you charge a kamehameha all the way in super Saiyan afterwards and they panic block that's a stamina break... And then follow up with super kamehameha in case they panic limit burst.... Alternatively to fully charged Kamehameha you can rush up and try to start the bombs away combo again (it's not guaranteed but if you DO get a hit then you can reset the entire combo before they get enough to vanish) he also has charge in case you feel like your gonna get hit as it's instant and works like an evasive
Next up.... Frieza, frieza is a maybe even s tier simply because his grab combos into death wave which does like an entire health bar of unvanishable damage. Legit 1 grab can change an entire match from losing to DOMINATING... And he also has death beam with a death beam limit burst making him do absurd damage... Meaning if you grab once death wave, and then spam death beam YOUR IN GREAT SHAPE... On top of all this when you stamina break you can go straight into his death ball and then death beam and death wave for INSTANT DEATH... His only real downside is he doesn't have a huge stamina pool and his backhit is slow... Other then that he is incredibly good and very spam friendly. Full power is also great for spamming the discs which is kinda just information overload...
Bojack is solid A tier. He can cancel from 2 lights and light heavy instantly without having to ki stun which makes him way faster than 80% of the cast.
It's really unfortunate that they still haven't even bothered to give Appule a stamina break. The most basic kit, completely avoided.

You got more chances in stam breaking through perfect block in xenoverse 2 rather than actually stamina breaking through combo.
Seeing nail in b tier when my mate beats the sweatiest hits and bardocks daily is kinda goofy to me. 😅
In the right hands Nail is A if not S tier. I use him and can beat most of the sweaty opponents especially those that rely on saiyans back hit so much and go for it every time I use evil rise strike to beat it lol
Bro cmon nail is not too easy or high damaging thats why its impressive your friend is beating sweaty hits and bardocks sometimes in the first place

I’m really about to waste my time and go on a long rant that I doubt anyone will see because I don’t have anything else to do at the moment, but here I go anyway:
C tier:
Janemba can absolutely go up a tier. Even taking into account the low damage of his main preset the man can at least hold his ground, the same of which cannot be said for a good amount of other characters in C tier.
Bojack can also go up a tier. I don’t play him myself but I’ve fought him enough times in PvP to know that he can be a lot of trouble in the hands of someone that knows how to use him.
B tier:
Ginyu is difficult for me to rank. He’s too good for B but not enough for A. If there was a rank in between I’d put him there. Good/great-ish skills, decent stats, and an easy stamina break.
I can vouch for Steed on moving Frost to A. I played him a lot at one point and man does he kick ass.
I really want Orange Piccolo to be higher up even with his low stamina, but my god his awful backhit is single-handedly holding him down.
A tier:
Custom or not, it is absolutely WILD that Hercule and DBS Broly are not S tier. Even without super souls Hercule is impossible to hit with him having more I frames than everyone else in the game, combined, and Broly is a brute with all his supers always having super armor and the godly range of his grab.
Full Power Jiren is single-handedly held down by his awful evasive. If it at least did its job as an evasive then he’d be an easy S tier.
Also, to add to Steeds statement, yes, he has the highest max ki in the game, so high that it actually broke out of the old stat display before the level cap increase.
UI Goku should be S tier with MUI Goku. Both are amazing characters in their own ways.
S tier:
No idea what Zamasu is doing here. Even with a custom he’s not great. I’d put him either in the lower end of A or the upper end of B.
Same thing goes for Beerus. I really enjoy playing him but even with a custom he is absolutely not S tier. At best I’d put him in the middle or lower end of A. To comment on Steed saying his custom can get the highest health in the game, that doesn’t do much when the very low stamina of that stat set means either taking a lot of hits or always being 1-2 evasives or Z vanishes away from being open to a stamina break.
Zamasu is extremely good, not sure why you think he's anything below S tier. His damage is absurd, he has good attack speed/recovery, and his supers are beyond broken. God Splitter is one of the most obnoxious combo extenders in the game, and we don't even need to talk about moves like Backflip and Aura Slide (even after Aura Slide's nerf).

Why is godsplitter obnoxious and good? I use death saucer on cell to extend combos. If an opponent vanishes right before I launch godsplitter, I’m stuck and get punished, but death saucer still hits, does 4k dmg, and leaves them so vulnerable that I can even grab them. Asking out of curiosity as I do not have zamasu.
Nah Beerus deserves a S tier ngl he is fast as hell and beerus + ki blast cannon = damage lol, he has a ton of comboes that work with kbc

Lord Slug is so fun to play though because it feels as though NOBODY knows how to play against him
Also I will point out as a Tien main, Tien's combo potential is through the roof and he has a lot of safe escapes in his combos. I personally have him in a high A tier if we disregard every character's ability to cheese.
Granted, this is if you put time into him, everybody can be quite a good character if you sink multiple hours into them

@@gatotsuspriteslugs I think is d tier. Maybe it's me but I feel like his supers have 0 synergy with his combos outside of his infinites and he has no stamina break combos. Tien really only has 1 or 2 good combos but I feel like he is a solid a tier.
@@patrickwillis13 Nah the only faulty combo for Tien is his primary square combo, everything else is safe and strong.
Also for Lord Slug pretty much all his combos are heavy knockdowns so if you play grounded to the floor you're always gonna get heavy damage with darkness eye beam or a continuation with namek finger + Darkness Twin Star is very strong defensively and can obviously be launched.
Don't get me wrong Lord Slug is definitely not of the safer picks on the roster but my point is you can actually cook a lot of people because he's not seen often and is unexpectedly not as bad as you would imagine

I think you are sleeping on custom perfect cell. When you use the high hp high ki blast setup low stamina with the regen super soul, he can take enormous amounts of damage. I tested vs kid buu- kid buu died at around 23k, and my cell took 37k dmg to drop. This is without using burst limit, which gives even more hp regen.
Meanwhile Cell can get in on you with dodon ray and can easily turn any one of his numerous teleporting attacks into a ki blast cannon to death saucer and melt hp bars. If done quickly, the opponent won’t be able to vanish before the cannon hits. Even on lower stamina enemies, its also easy for pcell to land a 26k+ stamina break combo.
His combo 5 and 6 both combo into death saucer as well. If the opponent is off balance, his running 6(kicks) combo into ki blast cannon-death saucer.
You could even use a teleport attack to hit with ki blast cannon, then gravity, then perfect shot, then earth splitting galick gun to do 20k damage without any stamina break.
I find him to be a good comeback character. He can take a beating and build ki while doing it, then easily use that ki to extend his combos and deal massive damage.

He has good damage, very good range, good grab range, great abilities even without custom preset, a lot of health and sometimes has high frame priority.

Given how the others are ranked, and the moves they have, android 13 and supreme kai of time are c tier. 13 just has bad stats and horrible combos, all easily pubished, and barely work with his supers, while supreme kai of time is just so punishable. Her supers all leave ger wide open and have set delays, that while minorly variable, don't matter at all if you punch her once. Her evasive is trash, barely stopping anything and costing 3 bars, and ger ultimates are slow, and 1 doesn't have a hit box you have to worry about, and it's the slower one, so it's a free stamina break if used, or a free stamina reset if they use it while you're broken. It's just too much set up for not pay off. At least 13 cam start the match and fight on any map without being immediately at disadvantage. But again, he's still c teir mostly because of stats and his combos, if either if them were better, he'd shoot up a couple of tiers. Oh, and if he worked.
Like honestly, if you play pve enough, you can get a good idea of the characters that are good for pvp as well, like obviously some will shoot up, like toppo is a tier in pve, but that's something you can account for. If the ai was any smarter, I know toppo would shoot down a bit because he's so slow and has little stamina. Pve situations can inform pvp situations, especially when we're looking at lag as a factor, specifically how they'd move in relationship to how laggy a match is.
Bojack is better then multiple "A tier" characters that he had listed like future gohan, piccolo, vegeta base, baby, android 16 and awoken piccolo. Bojack deserves to be atleast an A rank. And if were judging based on performance in pvp he could be placed even higher due to lag friendly super attacks lol
(Super) 17 being in b tier and not in A is a crime in my eyes. He is the character I pick to shit down broly and dyspo users. He just got that kit to raise the roof and crush it all at once

No me gustó para nada la tierlist, hay personajes bien colocados pero otros están colocados como si los hubiesen puesto al azar, ¿Cómo vas a poner al Golden freezer por encima de topo o Orange Piccolo, el Golden solo tiene velocidad, ráfaga del emperador, el disparo de dedo loco y el rayo de la muerte del emperador, sé que esas habilidades son muy buenas pero fuera de eso el Golden es un freezer común y corriente que si no fuera por el rayo de la muerte del emperador no podría hacer demasiado daño en comparación a otros más bajos en la tier. También pienso que Majin buu (gordo) está muy infravalorado y tiene unos muy buenos combos, además de la customización que sube de nivel a medio juego.

well, I think that seerax is not as experienced in online pvp as you are, steedoj, I play a lot of competitive online or another content creator who is already experienced, but I think that if you are already a professional in this game any character becomes a good option for example: my favorite character is reecome and I think he is very underrated since they say he is not very good but he is very good, he has many guard-breaking combos, he has very good skills, I even use the skill called powerful explosive wave as counterattack and it is not a counterattack, if you are an expert player you can use skills that serve you in combat even if they are not for that method, that is, as a counterattack, that is, any character is good if you use it properly.
I fully disagree with DBS superhero Gohan, his damage outways the low stats and I think his skills are better than normal Gohan's I'd put him in A tier along with Toppo and Pikkon because they are absolute demons on damage. Also Cabba does hella damage and can be deadly if you know how to pull it off. Lastly future Gohan in A is a bit high, his combo damage is horrendous.
A reminder that regarding android 16:
You can cancel out if a auccessful grab just by miving him the moment he slams his opponent down
His hell flash is basically a risky counter. If you shoot the blast down at the ground and it hits the ground BEFORE your guard is possibly broken, the pillars of energynl will STILL shoot out.
I like Zamasu but he shouldnt be that high up, including fused zamasu too
No, Zamasu is VERY strong. Fused Zamasu, however, is the exact opposite 💀

@@SoapyBowl Fused Zamasu is an absolute beast and definitely high A tier, it's just that players don't know how to use him cause all they do is vanish light attack or dash light attack. His neutral game is one of the best in the game by far.
