Hi Toyin, You can learn more about our Turbocor® training opportunities here: www.danfoss.com/en/products/compressors/dcs/turbocor/#tab-learning Or you can get in touch with our Turbocor® training team by shooting an email to turbocor.training AT danfoss DOT com Hope that helps!
The stepper motor tester is not a tool that we offer, however it may be found at an electronics or supply store. You can also move the worm gear using a pliers or similar tool as shown in this video. Functional testing of the IGV can be done when connected to the compressor. See our IGV Verification video: ua-cam.com/video/b_B6pJYph0w/v-deo.html
We have installed 2 units of water-cooled chillers (390RT, 3 compressors per chiller) at a hospital in Malaysia. Facing a "peculiar" situation with the compressors (one from each chiller) where the IGV is not opening beyond 26% (max). We have tried replacing the backplane assembly card, alomng side the PWM, serial etc - still no solution. We have tested the IGV motor opening pattern using programme (laptop) and it works - it does fully open to 110% but that's not the case when the chiller is operating. We have also dismantled and visibly checked the IGV - looks fine. ANY IDEA OR CLUE WHY THIS IS EVEN HAPPENING? IS THIS AN IGV RELATED ISSUE OR SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE COMPRESSOIR ITSELF? APPRECIATE SOME ASSISTANCE HERE - ISSUE NOT SOLVED FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS NOW (MANUFACTURERS/VENDORS HAVE TRIED)
Hi again. Please reach out to our local expert in the Asia Pacific region: Derek Foong King Soon Technical Support & Services Manager +63 2898 8268 8 +63 2827 1121 2 Thank you
Does he aware, the wire installation of the step motor is not proper, wires are too long, twisted and gets metal contacts that can damage the wire insulation by vibration?
