Hi Mel, great to have you back - I've emailed for the Lightshow Giveaway but not had anything yet - I'm sure you are very busy - Happy New Year to you and yours !!!
Hi Mal, Many thanks for all your help in the past and also on this subject. I played a few light shows utilizing the newly UPGRADED lightshow APP received recently from Tesla for the family over the holidays and they were a BIG hit. I have a few light show bundles i.e. The Grinch - Rudolph - Jingle Bells - Star Wars It has been a few days but if my memory serves me correctly when I load this light show which only has only 1 lightshow.fseq file and only 1 lightshow.mp3 file it will play all the songs listed in sequential order. Similar to a playlist. I hope I am not imagining this but it would be interesting to know how this is done. Note: Also maybe on the next Tesla Lightshow upgrade Tesla will allow you to pick a group of lightshows by placing an (X) in the option box next to the desired lightshow and play as many lightshows as you want (i.e. light shows with the option Box with the (X) selected) all in one playlist. Of course, it would also have an option to clear the present playlist and then generate a new playlist by placing (X''s) in other lightshows that you want to be played in the next playlist. Example: Christmas Music, Halloween Music etc. Maybe generated playlists could be saved for future use. Just dreaming????? Ha Ha 🙂
John because the creator has made it if you would think of it as a mixtape with all songs playing in an order set out by the creator hope that helps dont forget to regiister on studio@malcan.co.uk ill add you in draw thanks for being one of my great followers
Hi Mal, Can I use a pendrive with multiple partitions or is not necessary? The idea is to have some mp3 files, lighshows, boombox and locksounds on it.
Not necessary I experiment even though your told fat 32 only allows 4gb it not the case I tested it duplicating my database putting 1386 Tracks which of course was double 3888 and plays all of the tracks 12 gb leaving me 2gb on my key drive Thanks for being a valued follower don't forget to register at studio@malcan.co.uk to be in for a chance to get win 491 shows on 1 key
It's not a feature I ever think I'll use on my Model 3 lol I can see it being fun if you have a Model X cause it opens and closes doors. FAT32 only supports up to 4Gb so any additional space above 4Gb on your USB drive won't be accessible.
Sorry for the delay in getting back I wanted to test this 4 gb rule I completely debunked it what I did I trippled my tracks leaving me 2gb left out of a 15 gb drive set to fat 32 I played all the tracks and told me I had 2 gb left I know if you look up everywhere it says fat32 only allows 4gb but it's not the case Thanks for being one of my great followers and thanks for giving me the heads up I don't know why it works I'm glad it does
Thanks and Happy New Year. The problem is that it is not possible to choose from a light show list because the name of the file must be only lightshow.mp3 or lightshow.wav and in pair with lightshow.fseq file. So you have to constantly change the names of the files.
Subject: Important Update Regarding Holiday Update 44.30.5.1 Dear Batticha I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to inform you of an important update regarding the recent holiday update, version 44.30.5.1. If you have not yet installed this update, please be aware that certain functionalities will only work as previously described. Prior to acquiring version 5.1, I also faced compatibility issues with my 2019 Tesla model on the update 2023.44.30.1. However, once I obtained the 5.1 update, the issues were resolved, as demonstrated in the accompanying video. Moreover, I discovered that when multiple audio files in either .mp3 or .wave format undergo changes, it is crucial that they have the same name. By adhering to this naming convention, you can seamlessly transfer these files onto different storage devices without worrying about playback issues. This will greatly enhance the user experience and ensure that you always know the correct title of the show. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for being one of my valued followers and reaching out. Your support means a lot to me, and I truly appreciate it. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here to assist you. Thank you once again for your continued support. Warmest regards, Mal
