just going back to jungle using kayn recently, a lot of defeat (due to poor team coordination to be honet, including me) but kayn really do hit like a truck late game, even though a lot of loses, manage to get a lot of kill, also just did a session this morning using red kayn,first 5 minutes manage to get 5 kill, (start only 1 kill after ganking top lane, but during gank on dragon lane other lane rush to this lane, but our team sp is yumi, after manage to bait 3 enemy to tower dive, yumi merge with me and swoop the group, 4 kill there but get caught of guard by full hp garen, at the end get 12/5/8
(there is also this 1 group really good engagement initiated by me, so what happen is our adc and sp get killed and the enemy pushing hard on mid lane, during push to mid 2nd turret i flank from blue camp, and bait the enmy to tower dive, use my 2nd ability to stunt 3 champion and my mid lane karma cast ult to drag further inside and orn finished it, kill lucian instantly, katarina and pike retreat but i manage to ult pyke and after ult kill the katarina the go back to mid lane killing vi jungle, chase garen although failed but man for the first time as jungler i feel dominating)

Don’t buy both, you can only apply one armor pen % item in your build. Lord Dom, mortal reminder, or grudge. Never buy more than one because the stats will not stack.

To make it up for you, i will list kayn's match ups here.. Kayn is strong against Lee Sin, Rammus, Diana and Jarvan IV. Kayn is weak against Vi, Rengar, Master Yi, Shyvanna, Evelyn and Xin Zhao.

How do I know to choose blue kayne build or red? Does it even matter? I'm still familiarizing myself with the types of champions, but I'm just using red build and I'm losing fights often

You only use blue build for blue kayn and red build for red kayn. Don't mix them up, they both have different unique types of items that differs in battle. Go blue form when enemy has at least 3 squishy or ranged champions and red form when enemy has at least 3 tanks or melee champions. Take your time playing kayn, it takes passion to master one hero.

Pro tip ward your blue buff with a yellow ward U will see if enemy wards and recall instantly to get sweeper you cann use sweeper with your ward staying in place
