It’s gotta have some skill considering how many people who use it are incredibly easy to beat. If you lose with something but still use it frequently, you are probably unskilled. If they had more skill, egolem would actually win.

Ian: its honestly not that high skill
I feel like there were 2 main issues with this tier list. First was a bit of a double standard, like E-drag being higher, cuz you need to predict the king activation (with other cards) but balloon being lower when you can push it with other cards to avoid buildings (and those cards being higher, like bats and baby-D). The other is just "Skill" overall. It's a spectrum that starts on a "floor" and ends on a "ceiling". In some cards the skill floor and ceiling are very close, like arrows (you press and hit, there's nothing else to it) but others like clone have the floor and ceiling further apart (you can just place it down on a lava hound, but U can do some cool things like the skelly barrel timing to dodge spell or pushing a giant skelly closer to the tower). I'd love a longer video that would go a bit more in depth, instead of the "first thought" approach.

Thank you for the clone comment I use the skeleton barrel and giant skeleton trick so much and it wins me games all the time in top ladder
goblin cage in d is crazy, cage has placements that are different from every other building like countering a hog for example, easy B tier at least.

As a goblin cage player, there is only really two placement/timing you need to learn
the placements are easier though. instead of having to know the optimal distance to pull the troop, goblin cage gets value by just placing it in front of units. you literally cant mess it up unlike other building placements
@@carloss7655 you can in some way mess up if you put it against bad troops for it or you don't protect it, but yes it does get value by itself, but in terms of "skill" which is the video the card doesn't take a lot

I think we should define what "high skill" means. It can be a good or bad thing.
"high skill floor" means to get average results, you need high skill. "High skill ceiling" means that if your results will scale higher with skill.

With zap there’s a lot of weird interactions that require very specific timing to make the most use of the stun and reset effect. In my opinion one of the higher skilled spells but not anything like tornado.

Hog rider is a 4 elxier spell that will always hit your tower. D tier.

i'd have to disagree it's a skilled card, gets countered by cannon tesla and is a positive trade w inferno if they use earthquake which every hog deck uses. void also full counters for a positive trade

Here’s a great mega knight battle ram play. If someone bridge blocks your mega knight, play a battle ram behind the mega knight and 9 times out of 10 it will push the troop of the mega knight and cause the mega knight to jump back onto it. If you get a good enough push the troop with attack the barbs from the ram near the enemy tower and your mega knight will jump straight on their tower

imo mostly on point with some cards very out there. freeze & mirror in b. clone, spawners and lightning in c. arrows, megaknight and egiant in d. all of these are F or below.
Hi, I got an idea for an interesting series, you could try to make good decks using unconventional cards that arent really used at all and then play them on top ladder. Like for example the barb hut, canon cart, 9ms, healer in a non-beatdown deck, skeleton barrell, clone and mirror (ofc some of these are sometimes used, but you could try to use them in new and interesting ways)

S: Its value is only determined by player input
A: Smart positioning/timing is required (Ram Shouldn’t be here)
B: A few interactions that are either specific timing or elixir heavy/can be counter pushed (e golem shouldn’t be here)
C: Some outplay potential but otherwise the card plays itself
D: You managed to place the card down
F: You somehow mustered the brain power to use your fingers

I think miner is a bit higher skill when paired in loon cycle, but yeah it’s just fundamentally one of the best legendaries

The day firecracker takes more skill to play than xbow is the day Clash Royale makes a good update with every card balanced. Most players do not care about where the firecracker pushes back or about a potential king activation but would rather just spam it behind a push. And even if they spam it with no skill, it often still gets value which makes it not a skillful card. With xbow, if you go in at the wrong time or try to spam it, you end up with half your tower gone, it is not nearly as forgiving as misplaying a firecracker is.

People who say that golem is absolutely 0 skill are whiney miner or bad hog cycle players.
You need to be super aware of the elixir and ESPECIALLY the cycle of your opponent and have the right cards on your hand before you play the golem. Cant just randomly golem.
