Wow..800 plants!! Will be so fun to watch this area year by year mature!
Amazing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful garden with us. 800 plants and no auger!! That’s true love 💚 of gardening. Can’t wait to see how it matures. Great 👍 job
This is Epic! I love all the plants you used! You spent your time in quarantine wisely :)
Thank you so much, Yuliya! It means a lot coming from you.
Very exciting! It is so refreshing to see plantings such as yours -- some plants grown from seed, small plants purchased, and space for growth and future plants. This is real world gardening!!! Thanks, Erin for sharing your work. Oh, shout out to Mr. Much More Patient for the wonderful bridge. It is a great size!
Highlight of my day and ended with such a catchy tune. Lots of work and love poured into it and I’m so excited to follow your journey. You must be very pleased and proud, it looks wonderful Erin.
Thanks, Laura!
It looks incredible! Although the planting would be overwhelming, I am most impressed by the planning. I get paralyzed by choices and imagining things. You did a great job!
Erin, kudos on a job well done! I was in awe of how many plants you planted. I can totally see your vision of long wide swaths of mass plantings. It will be beautiful, I'm sure. I remember you mentioning the area by the road with something to the effect of how we sometimes neglect the areas that the most people see. I think your said your neighbors commented a lot on your project on the other side of your drive when you completed that project. That struck a chord with me and I started paying much more attention to some those areas that I have, so thank you. I like your philosophy that you will baby it this year and then it's on its own. I planted a zen conifer garden this past spring and I am treating it like a newborn but not next year!
Fantastic! It is gorgeous with those thick organic coverings of mulch and chipped wood, and easy to imagine how it will look as it matures.
800! Holy hana girl I cant imagine planting all that in one season- by hand no less LOL Im looking forward to seeing it fill in. The opposite corner of the drive is looking amazing too
Fantastic work, looking forward to see all the seasonal changes, and your vision evolving toward the final stage. Love seeing your dogs following you around, gorgeous. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Wow...good for you Erin!! 800 PLANTS!! I'm exhausted just thinking of that much work! Its going to look beautiful and thanks for telling us about so many different plants, never heard of lots of them!
Those dogs 🤣🤣🤣 they're adorable!!!!
its been a bad year for growing in general, bless you for giving
your plant babies so much love!
I can't wait to see these new beds mature
Looks great! I read your seed/quarantine blog and couldn’t stop laughing hysterically. Haven’t laughed so hard in years!! Thanks for the inspiration, education, and laughs! 🌹 😂
"Everyone has a ho they really like" *nods emphatically*
😂
"But I think a hoe is a hoe, so find one you like, and that's what you use." 😦☺😁😁😄😄
Great minds think a like d: . I smirked bc she said hoe so many times lol.
😆😆😆😆
That was hilarious- and she was so serious😁
Wow! 800 plants. Love the song and music
Wowsa!! You have worked so hard! Can't wait to watch this lovely space mature and fill in! Exciting!!
That's a mighty ton of work there! Excited to see the progress.
Can’t wait to see the outcome of your hard work !Thanks for sharing.
Wow, a lot of hard work, but I see your vision for the end results. It will be stunning! Thank you for taking me with you on this journey and for all of the great information you provided with the description of the plants. Take care!
Love the new garden. So beautiful and and fun!
Thank you for the tour. Very impressive. Love your mass plantings!
A lot of planting! Everything will look beautiful!
Erin Looks great!! This is a tremendous accomplishment!
What a huge project!!!! I can’t wait to see it grow :)
Wooow that's a lot of work, but I'm sure it'll look amazing and I can hardly wait to seeing it evolve and grow. Have a beautiful day!! 😊
It looks wonderful! I always learn something from your videos and look forward to them. 'I don't fight water.' That's a gem! Look forward to watching this garden grow!
Can’t wait to see what these plants look like. My knowledge is more limited than I realized...😁 i couldn’t picture a lot of them .. so can’t wait for updates !
I also love planting, and I´m really loving the stachys plant with those spiky pink blooms, I´d like to add it to my garden too...
It's going to be gorgeous.
Can't wait to see this area fill in!! Thanks for sharing
"A hos a ho" truer words were never spoken lol
Wow! What a tremendous project!
I love seeing new baby garden plants evolve over time. I have just this year grown perennials from seed and so far I am pleased with the results. Some will take years to grow to full size but the fact that I saved SO much money by doing it makes me want to keep it up. As far as starting annuals from seed which I also did for the first time I'm also glad to have lots of calendula and some camomile to make nice things for gifts and dwarf hollyhock are looking to be a favorite. You are inspiring.
Can't wait to see it full grown! If you have some sunny spots by the creek, try some water irises like siberians. They would be lovely coming up on the sides there.
Wow a lot of work! It’s going to be beautiful!
Looks awesome. Can’t wait to see it fill in.
It’s going to be beautiful!
Thank you for sharing. It’s amazing now and will be fab very soon. Love your enthusiasm.
Cannot wait to see how it fills in. Will be beautiful.
Thanks for the video. It will be fun to see it grow.
Thanks for the inspiration! It’s so exciting to plan and start a new garden bed. I’ve begun three new beds and added shrubs and perennials this year, but none are as huge and intimidating as yours. You’ve got me considering starting annuals for those beds in February (we are a zone 4a here in Alberta 🇨🇦. Kudos to you!
Wow!!! Great job, it's beautiful!!!
Wonderful new garden. Love the plants❤️😊❤️
Interesting to hear that persicarias like to spread- am just beginning to grow them. The thalictrum will look wonderful!
I'm thinking that persicarias are much better behaved by you. John Lord seems to grow oodles of them and they seem well behaved compared to here.
Awesome job! Can’t wait to see it mature! 🙈
Beautiful property. You did a great job 🌿
Really enjoyed the plants video you did for this and now seeing them in the ground - inspiring :)
WOW !!! 800 plus... you go girl 😁
Nice work, Erin! I love how resourceful you are! It looks great and I look forward to seeing it all in bloom. Now, go make yourself a cocktail and enjoy the fruits of your labor! : )
Glorious!!!
It will be so beautiful, nice work!
I really love your videos Erin. I live in the Chicago area so I can relate so much to what you are doing.. Love that new planting area. Must have been a ton of work.
This was cool! Can't wait for the updates.
I have all these same plants too! The deer eat my liatris sometimes. You’re right they really will sample everything. Aralia Sun king is such an amazing plant, I’m always recommending it to people. Godzilla is an amazing painted fern as well, supersized! Even in my zone 4 garden. I have Lavender Mist meadow rue and I’m loving the height it brings in dappled shade. I’m also obsessed with grasses! Molina Sky Racer is an amazing tall one if you really want something dramatic. Rain Dance big bluestem is great, I’ve always wanted Blackhawk! You will be so amazed at this new garden next year and of course year 3 will be a real wow! You’ll be digging and rearranging but that’s the fun part! 😜
Love love love your woodland garden!! THAT garden style is making a great comeback where a naturalistic flow of plant material create great textural interest and harmony! Such a beautiful space.
Wow you did so good!! I cant wait to see updates!!!
It's going to be stunning!!!
This is going to be epic! Can't wait to see it next year!

Can’t wait for the update when they fill in.
It’s going to look spectacular! I just started watching your channel and am enjoying it. Great music at the end too.
Love what you've started in this garden. It's a huge undertaking but it will be gorgeous as it matures! WHAT an accomplishment!!!!
Erin. This will look so amazing! Thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge.
Well done! Loved seeing it and can't wait to see it all grown in. I've been over hauling a few areas this year, not near as much as what you have done, and it's been hard work, can't image 800 plus plants.
I can't image planning this garden design in my head. I wouldve had a lot of sleepless nights. Great Job!
I did!
I can’t wait to see it as it grows. 💕 Planting is my favorite gardening task, so I understand you liking it too. That Betony is gorgeous I think I am going to have to look for some of that. 😉
Really interesting video, Thanks
Well done girl!!!! Everything you do is great i love watching your garden progress 😁
Love your videos, always so happy and positive. The garden is looking so good. Looking forward to see the plants mature.
Wow!!! That was a lot of plants, did not realize until now how extensive the area was, you must have been exhausted. It all looks beautiful now so cannot wait to see it fill out❤🌾🌾
Very good job
Love your new woodland garden. Seems like it will be a very relaxing place to spend time in. Can’t wait to see it fill in. Please give us plenty of updates.
It looks amazing! I’m excited to see it grow and mature. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Love your new garden lots of work but big payback
I love your plantings! Wish I had shade like that, I struggle to keep plants alive in the hot sun of the South. Love your two black shadows! :-)
I LOVE the way this new garden is looking. What a dream! That bridge is so whimsical
It’s really going to look amazing. I look forward to watching it mature and fill in! And your botanical name knowledge is impressive!
My memory for botanical names ebbs and flows, but by mid-summer I have most of them down pretty good. I do forget a bit in winter when I'm not using them as much though.
This will be so beautiful, I love seeing the Start and look forward to the mature garden in a couple years
