I’m 33 and love taking shots of whiskey and playing madden 08 on the ps2. Along with ncaa 08.. franchise mode is so fun.. transferring draft classes from ncaa makes it deeper. When players retire they become coaches. For example ray Lewis and kurt Warner retired and became coaches in my franchise mode. Also the ncaa draft class were always deeper with talent than the random generated draft class that the madden engine produces
Im a kid who started madden on madden 23 I stated ultimate team and it was pretty fun Until I realized how pay 2 win it was. I wanted to try better football games and then a UA-camr named SoftdrinkTV told me about nfl2k5 its my favorite game and I cant wait to play more!
It's the same for me with FIFA. One day, I thought to myself, why buy this crap when there are other games I'm interested in that are actually worth my money?
I got fooled with cfb25 too. Tried it different times and just dont like it. I have 2k5 and all pro, but they still lack something. Im actually heading out to pawn shop to grab madden 07 on the 360. Remember the franchise being the best. Create a team, as well
@Prowler71 Thanks bro. Will do. Been watching videos for couple days, and surprised they actually have 07, would have been happy with 08, too. But 07, might be the best Madden. Worried it might not be as good on 360, as original, though. I like those old style graphics
Wanna know something funny , I’m digging into the files for madden 08 on PS2 using pc editors (pic is on my community tab where i replaced the bears logo with the NFL Europe logo lmao) But madden for 5 years even in Madden 11 they kept in Madden moment mode from 05 Collectors editions and cut game mode of updated Madden Moments (Madden moments actually was 1st in Madden 2001 on PC) So Madden 08 on ps2 has left over slop from 2001 from PC and 05 collectors editions Madden moments before what the are “officially” called Madden moments for Madden 08 on Xbox 360. EA is lazy and definitely had the space to improve ps2 Madden.
Here’s also another fun fact madden locked out a lotta extra logos and team logos ect for create a team. Also Madden 10-12 on ps2 is absolutely broken it has so many grammatical errors it’s unreal and earn rates and weapon status are broken. You can fix all them in the Data files if you use a DB editor on PC I see why people really don’t mod ps2 Madden too much vs pc Madden. At least theirs NCAA next mod for 06 and Next Mod for Madden 08 fixes a LOTTA stuff with ps2 Madden.
Unfortunately I think it would take a massive drop in sales for EA to really take a step back and fix things but again, when you have a monopoly on the only football game that can feature the NFL, EA couldn't care less as long as the money rolls in.
Madden is so trash. Bought 24 on sale, first one since 25(14) I think. It’s insane that if someone were to ask me what I wanted for Christmas, I’d have to say for someone else to make an NFL game. That’s really it.
It's really sad how far the franchise has fallen but when you don't have competition and become lazy as a developer, we all pay the price with a diminished product each year. Fingers crossed, we get out wish sooner than later!
Madden has never been good, I don’t understand why sheep think that. Sega sports nfl on sega genesis player better than madden after 96. Nfl2k came out and showed what a football game could be . And in 5 years it came to fruition . Nfl2k5- became to me the greater video game ever made.

Hold down gas turn like cruise ships Of is the animations that play like a cgi Things are so predetermined they bend the rules of physics to attain the result . . Is the players that all looked like teddy bears with same shallow faces n bodies.. .. Was it the gameplay that played like nfl blitz with heavy delay physics & so called rules .! Listen that game played the same side. Sega genesis they just evolved the rubbish with the more power . . When nfl2k came out in 1999 it was clear as day this is what a football game was supposed to look, play and feel like. For a raw foundation. Imagine if nfl2k3 has the momentum physics if nfl2k5… , I can’t give nothing to ea & madden.. not since they took their ball and went home pouting instead of playing harder.! . That is what competition is.! They bring it, you bring it ..!! . Imagine if a team in the Championship was losing and they all just threw the ball away and left the stadium and signed a deal to be te only team in the league they are getting beat too much. 🤷🏾♂️. . Look at their mvp baseball game - they crafted their game engine and worked on it until it was a fantastic game .. same thing they could have done with their NFL,nhl,nba franchises. But they chose the dirty way out killing sports gaming for sport gamers .! .

Last madden i played, was Madden 05 or 06 i think. I still have the discs somewhere. I have fond memories of watching my brothers playing that.

This the first year i haven't bought madden since the Sega Genesis. Just cant support it anymore. Trash game. Madden rolling over in his grave
