Extraordinary, Ma! Extraordinary! What a school you are! That you have not being corrupted by the trappings of great wealth and privilege into being haughty and condescending, and have remained so vocally God-centred, humble, committed to excellence and committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ is mind-blowing. May God preserve you, Ma and multiply your kind across the nations to the glory of His Name.
That people mention God does not mean they really are Godly or are in parl with God otherwise, Nigeria will have been the greatest because every body calls God
@@Awake_Africa what exactly is your pain now? Like you have a relationship with God If you did have a relationship with God or you're Godly as you claim, why criticizing others By the way you seem like a self righteous person Work on yourself okay!!
The road to excellence is not easy. It takes the grace of God. Few get on a platter of gold but many pay the price. The Bible says that promotion does not come from east or west but from the Lord. Lord, please, help us to be wise. Thank you woman if God for this enlightenment. God will continue to enlarge your coast in Jesus name Amen 👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you ma for being so vulnerable in sharing your stories, I was blessed and I have learned a lot that will push me to my next level.
@bidemiolawore5394: which one is better, somebody gives you fish to eat each time you need to eat fish; or the individual now choses to teach you how to catch fish, for your continual survival?
Ma, your life's story has been adventurous, encouraging and impactful; you are a woman of your words; you took oath with God and you never left it unfulfilled after God had blessed you! May God keep you going, and I pray that, you will never allow the wealth and affluence to be-cloud your face to make you slack in serving the Lord Jesus Christ who saved you and gave you life and strength to get wealth. May you always strive to please the Lord God and may He grant you His grace to make it to Heaven at last after you will have finished your earthly race, in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Bravo!
Only in Nigeria did people get rich/wealthy without the business or company they had. I hope is not only Nigeria it is happening. Corruption don hit dip in Nigerian society.
We know that the road to success does not come easy but you really need to ask questions so you don't regret. Gona those days people we just agree on anything with open minded but not anymore.
My Father and my God l am grateful that you led me to listen to this message by madam Folorunsho Alakija. I thank God for her life. Father please release your Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding into my life to excel and make a mark and a Great impact in the society, in my lifetime, amen
She and all other oil well lords in Nigeria need to give the oil well that belongs to Nigerians back to Nigerians. I honestly don’t know how this people sleep at night when you are keeping to yourself what belongs to a whole nation courtesy of a erstwhile very corrupt Nigerian President Babangida
@@adetayoonasanya1131 Chief I think you are missing something about the business of ruling and building nations. In all economies it is like that from the USA to the UK to China, to Singapore to India to Brazil to Europe, to Nigeria, to South Africa, to Egypt, that at some point in time, a few because of their access/proximity to power are selected by governments and those in power, and are giving opportunities and support (access to finance, tax-breaks, lucrative deals) the masses don't have. Some of these become the Dangotes and others the Alakijas, etc. Truth be told the average sleeper, lazy butt and pessimist will still not have built what the Dangotes and the likes of the Alakijas have built even if given the opportunity. It is one thing to just rely on stealing money from Federal gov't and its quite another to build thriving businesses. However you it maybe that this woman made her money it is clear that she did more than just sleep her way to the top. She's demonstrated, tenacity in the face of adversity, a no give up attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit (risk-taking as in leaving a cozy bank job to start a tailoring business with national impact), risk-taking as to daring to ask for an oil-block to be given to her, recognizing opportunity and seizing it, believing enough in herself and her right as a citizen of Nigeria to have a share at the oil block table and fighting for it (even if some may think it was by opening her legs), taking the federal gov't to court for 12 years with the hope of a positive outcome, something I myself would have told her to forget. If you think she slept her way with all the judges and bribed all of them, 12 years of that still shows tenacity and the readiness to pay a huge price then for what she knew was rightfully hers by right of her title deed to the oil block. Let's learn from her story, and acknowledge that great success often comes at a great price, whether your price is at Baba's shrine, or the price of opening your legs, or the price of prayer and fasting or the price of hard work, tenacity and excellence as she is trying to pass on to us, bottom line is there is a price to pay for success, a great price for great success, a bit of fortune/luck that comes in place and in her case as she says the need for the God-factor.
